Any amount up to 100$, will buy at Bitstamp +5%.
I've done 4 successful transactions with paypal on this site (which you can see on my trust page), +1 on Localbitcoins. My paypal account is verified and I have a trusted e-bay account.
Please reply here or PM if interested, I don't mind sending first and as a gift payment to a trusted user.
Thank you.

According to NIST and ECRYPT II, the cryptographic algorithms used in Bitcoin are expected to be strong until at least 2030. (After that, it will not be too difficult to transition to different algorithms.)

going first or giving as a gift doesn't make Paypal safe at all! I would not advise anyone to trade their bitcoins for someone else's PayPal anything.

You can buy stolen paypal accounts for 20% face value last I checked.

https://AltQuick.com/exchange/ - Trade altcoins & Bitcoin Testnet coins with real Bitcoin. Fast, private, and easy!
https://FreeBitcoins.com/faucet/ - Load your AltQuick exchange account with free Bitcoins & Testnet every 10 minutes.

Indeed there's a risk, but I do have a few positive feedbacks, and this is a relatively small amount - I value my honour and my reputation on this community more than that.

Try buying Second Life Lindens through VirWoX or something similar, then trading them on VirWoX for BTC. It might cost a bit more but it works.

BA Computer Science, University of Oxford
Dissertation was about threat modelling on distributed ledgers.

It's not so bad, if I get no offers I'll just take a detour to the ATM.
Was simply hoping to avoid their 8-10% fees and get Bitcointalk trust in the process to make it easier for the next times I have a small surplus of fiat.

If you're in the US or Canada, you might be interested in trying https://www.tinkercoin.com/
You can buy 0.0435 BTC for 25$ through credit card. It works only once, their goal is to give newcomers access to their first mBtcs.
There's also eBay now. Both are overpriced though, hope it changes in the future when they'll have more competitors selling bitcoins.
