Buying and selling will always continue .. that’s basic. But in a bad economy with high inflation, the purchasing power of our money drops, and everyone feels the impact. The poor get poorer, and even if you manage to live comfortably, seeing so many people struggle isn’t a sign of a good place to live.

When people are struggling just to meet their daily needs, it creates a ripple effect. The financial struggles often leads to a rise in crime, as people resort to desperate measures just to survive. And that’s not the kind of society anyone wants to live in, right?

The concept of buying and selling has existed for quite a long in the world; I don't think it will ever stop, even if the economy seems worse or harder. Human beings will find ways how to readjust themselves to continue their buying and selling because that's the way we tend to survive and save up for the future. You can't blame who is complaining in a bad economy, when your income cannot equal your expenditures, such situations can be very frustrating. Although complaining doesn't make your standards of living to become better, especially where the people in authority doesn't care about the suffering of the masses. What to do is to think outside the box on how to increase your income, perhaps quit your job for a better one, get a second job or Lean a skill that will empower you to earn more. This is the reason why the rate of immigrants from poor countries that are seeking for greener pastures in developed countries are on the increase. Self development is a key factor to escaping harsh economies because complaining alone can not solve your personal problems.

Let’s face it, the economy will always be hard if you are not good in managing your funds. Regardless of the inflation, if you focus on spending money without good returns, you will be doomed and suffer financial crisis. That’s why investment should always have a vital role in our finances.

A lot of people have never made any kind of investment in their lives which means they can't just start investing with no experience or understanding of different markets and their dynamics. That is actually a recipe for disaster.
The time to learn is when things are normal and people can afford to lose money not at hard times. In fact during "hard times" people get more desperate and are more susceptible to making mistakes.

With that said, if they have no other choice they should try to start very small and learn. First months should not include any major investments. For example if it is bitcoin market, then start with a small amount like a hundred bucks and see how you can make profit. Then after a couple of months increase it.

I agree with you that our life is getting more and more difficult as money depreciates day by day while people's income is only enough to meet basic needs. But I also agree with what OP said, we should stop complaining and instead focus on finding solutions to get out of the problem. Because complaining won't make our lives better, if we want to improve our lives, other than working harder and more, we have almost no better solutions.

Everyone has their own difficulties in life, not just OP, you or me, everyone has their own difficulties so we need to save ourselves because no one can help us if we don't save ourselves.

The point is you encourage people to keep innovating, keep fighting and reduce complaints because that will not improve the situation. Always improvise with modern economic conditions, try to get out challenging yourself from a new zone. But unfortunately, the difficult economic situation makes sales pressure and purchasing power decrease because there is no money to spend. The stock market goes up, the stock market goes down, but adding slowly and steadily to your investments over time will produce results in the long run. There are always opportunities to take, just don't be too greedy because it can lead to you getting wiped out. Try to have some spare reserves which you can use to buy in the depths of a recession when everything is going super cheap because everyone else has nothing left to spend. The best thing is to stay employed, but you may need to move around jobs if you want to work your way up the salary ladder - companies will often avoid paying their existing staff extra if they can get away with it.

This is bullshit. Most times you people say things without being realistic. Life is not an idea, it's a reality. Not everybody can be a business owner, not everybody will be a CEO, not everybody will be a successful freelance.
The economy is hard. I don't know how it is in your country, but in my country, inflation is over 100%. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to live in a country like that? Do you know how difficult it is to start a business in that kind of place? Complaining about the economy doesn't mean you're not working hard. People are working their asses off and they make a lot of money but the inflation is so high that they don't even have enough purchasing power to afford basic things.

This is a very myopic thing to say because can't you see that people who buy it have to work three times as hard to afford what they used to and the person selling doesn't make as many sales as they used to.

It is unavoidable when people complain about how tough the economy is nowadays. In fact, this isn't the only generation dealt with and talked about it. Every generation seems to be problematic with the economy and only the real wealthy of this world are becoming wealthier because the odds and advantage are with them. They know how to sell what people needs and as you're saying, everyone still spend money regardless of the situation of the economy. Economy isn't hard while you are young, healthy and full of motivation and excitement to develop yourself, so make sure to use this time of your life in your favour, because once you reach your 30's or 40's you won't be the same anymore. I don't want to discourage anyone from that age, as there is always human potential in every ages, but fact is that it's much easier to do things when you are young.
