Certainly the DCA strategy is all about investing consistently over a long time without basing your purchases on whether the price in the market is high or not. The amount a person decides to invest can be different depending on their personal predicament, but the strategy itself which is DCA is not fueled by timing the market. It is more like combining strategies. When you have your DCA accumulation ongoing, you can also decide to go aggressively without distorting your ongoing DCA accumulation process. This aggressive buys can be done at anytime you have your additional available money which can occur at anytime. When it occurs during dips you buy, when it occurs outside dips you also buy. You buy extra bitcoin because you now have an additional income not because you have been waiting for the dip to happen before you can buy.

It’s not even advisable for some who have interest to invest in the Bitcoin to wait for dip market by your waiting for dip others has gone far with the investments, that’s why they said do the right things at the right time once time pass it will be difficult for you to get what you want in the Bitcoin investment. What you're doing is still DCA, even if you're using separate funds for other purchases during the Bitcoin price drop. Moreover, if you're also engaging in regular DCA with your own funds each week, then other people's differing opinions about your actions aren't a problem as long as you're buying Bitcoin to hold it long-term. The DCA strategy and buying the dip strategy are two different strategies all together. Once an investor starts timing the market by waiting for a perfect entry point before they can start accumulating bitcoin, then they are not longer using DCA strategy but buying the dip strategy. Though someone that is doing DCA can still make use of buying the dip strategy but that doesn't mean we are to mix up or begin to refer to buying the dip strategy as DCA when the investor has already deviate from DCA strategy by beginning to wait for a desire dip before buying.
