It could make things better only in a perfect scenario.  We will never live the ideal however, so we are not going to live a world where every thing changes positively thanks to Bitcoin.

The only thing it could still significantly change is that more people will realize their Assets can become Decentralized and they can have full Control over their Money.  Bitcoin will however probably never be admitted as significantly better than Fiat or a Currency of choice by Institutions and Governments.  While it happened in very small countries like El Salvador, I do not imagine it becoming like that in any of the big Powers of the World.

In fact.  Maybe it is better for us that Bitcoin did not become much more popular.  It could have triggered a strong rejection from Governments.  This kind of slow growth drove them nuts because it got too big before they realized.

Bitcoin truly is a gift to the world but it could have helped so many more people. It's a shame that it only truly benefits a small portion of the global population. It could've changed the world on a comprehensive societal and economic level.

Any thoughts?
Good observation, and as much as I believe you are right, you are still wrong. Bitcoin have actually helped alot of people, many people today have been lifted out of financial penulry through their early discovery and involvement in bitcoin, but as a matter of fact, it's not and would never be possible for everyone to get on boarded into bitcoin at the same time...

Investing in bitcoin is like a train moving slowly but never stops, people jump in and out at any time. So the thing here is that, as some people are jumping in, some who jumped in earlier are jumping out, and maybe later after a few days, they can decide to jump in again while even new people are jumping in while others are jumping out.. This is a good scenario to explain things stuff.

Everybody can not be on boarded into bitcoin at the very same time, and as such, not everyone will benefit equally from Bitcoin, some will benefit earlier than others, but what matters is, everyone who join will definitely get something by the end of the day because the opportunity is available to all, and this is how bitcoin have really helped everyone.

Who's fault it is that many world population doesn't know about Bitcoin and most that know about Bitcoin don't know how to own their first Bitcoin, so the bottom line is that, even though Bitcoin information is all over the Internet and its ownership is so easy still just a few portions of the world population know about it which is somewhat a backward mentality for we as a people, although it is still very early to say, then on the long run, Bitcoin will still be gaining mainstream recognition and popularity.
So for that, we can say that allowing the coin to grow naturally just as Satoshi proposed the better for us all, just like not everyone knows about other global precious gifts like gold, silver, and diamonds, all of them are still low in popularity because not many around the world k iw or own them, and still there have been in existence for decades and ages, so let allow Bitcoin so free Air at least Bitcoin popularity is now growing at a rapid state and in no time more global adoptions such as multiple countries adopting Bitcoin at the same time.

Bitcoin is an opportunity and a declaration to me. It shows that money without state oversight, without authorities issuing it and monetary policies aiming to control the value and supply, is possible. People can choose to opt in if that matters to them, or if they believe in it as a long-term high-performing asset. Of course, investing in Bitcoin these days does require having some money to spare, and crazy multiplier effect should not be expected. Thus, people who are struggling financially overall, have a lower chance of benefiting from Bitcoin as well.

Any thoughts?

It can't be helped, the only people who can benefit in Bitcoin are those who have knowledge and access to it.  Sadly not everyone have the ability to access and take advantage of the opportunity Bitcoins bring.

Bitcoin won't offer itself to help anyone instead, it needs someone to facilitate a thing or a program to help anyone after all Bitcoin can't do things by itself. And for Bitcoin to help in economic growth, it still needs a company that will use its technology to fuel the growth of an economy which may give employment, tax and other financial gain to improve a certain economy.

So it is not that easy to say such thing that Bitcoin could have changed the world if there is not enough companies and investors that will implement Bitcoin infrastructure into their businesess.

Don't anticipate the outcome prematurely.

Your use of 'could have' indirectly implies that Bitcoin cannot be improved.

We have thousands of developers working tirelessly to make Bitcoin better and more widely adopted. Don’t give up on Bitcoin. My advice to everyone is to keep researching and striving to make the world a better place. Research on unstable solutions like lightning network that solve the problem. Focus on bitcoin fundamentals and development and try to contribute as much as you can. Always remain optimistic!

Of course, Bitcoin is a gift for everyone, without exception, it's just that unfortunately not everyone understands Bitcoin so they don't invest in Bitcoin. But believe me, over time the growth of people investing in Bitcoin will be faster, even many who were previously skeptical of Bitcoin are now starting to buy and store Bitcoin. Because many people have begun to realize the magic and sophistication of Bitcoin, even Bitcoin will make them achieve financial freedom.

Nowadays, they must have at least a little Bitcoin because the number of bitcoins is limited and will continue to increase so that the price will also continue to rise because bitcoin will become increasingly rare. So indeed for now everyone is advised to buy bitcoin according to the risk they are ready to bear because Bitcoin is an asset that is suspected of being a savior in times of economic crisis and inflation.

Bitcoin only help those who believe and invested in it. The price of believing and trusting what you don know will be determined by the end of time. You can't expect people who had positive vision for bitcoin back then and bought, store and held it, to be thesame or equal with those bitcoin haters who never had any positive vision towards bitcoin.

In as much as life is concerned, it is all about give and take . You can't plant maize and harvest rice. What you get is the product of your investment, be it whatsoever.

If you have stated the areas in which bitcoin could have helped a lot of people, it could have been easier to argue or support your point, or at least believe that you know what you are saying and not be among those who have believed and pictured Bitcoin to be the perfect creation to wipe poverty out of the surface of this earth, which is an impossible task that even the government can't handle.

You do get some misconception on what Bitcoin is all about. This isnt really some internet magic money that could solve out poverty. Yes, it does give out that potential profits but this do always pertains about having that investment on your part. If you have only invested peanuts then dont expect that you could get millions. Sometimes it isnt really that hard to make use of our own common sense or simply a bit of understanding on how Bitcoin works. This isnt something that could really be able to resolved out your financial issues or even lets say that could really be able to solve out economic issues as well. Whether we do like it or not, to those people who do make out that make decisions on taking up some risks on investing on Bitcoin and holding for long are the ones who do benefit out.

For those countries that made out some adoption of crypto on which it isnt really that limited to Bitcoin e.g. El Salvador then we would really be able to say that it did really make out some positive impact.
Adoption is really that on the move and its something that we do really need up to consider on going with the current trend. Dont make yourself that being delusional that this will really be helpful
on which in this case then you will really be needing up to consider on taking up some risks.

Yeah, I am included in one of those people. If bitcoin didn't existed, I would be living a much horrible life and wouldn't be able to make a lot of profit at all, I would be in trouble and can't really get a good return at all. We should be focusing on how to get a greater return and for that to happen we need to invest and put our effort into it and there are a lot of people who didn't do that, a lot of people who are in financial trouble who could have been richer if they did, but that doesn't mean that we need to focus on the ones who didn't do it, focus on the people who did change their lives.

I did, I am living a much better life thanks to bitcoin and because of that I am not really focusing on anything further, the way I am living right now is amazing for me and I am not planning changing it at all, bitcoin is something that is making such a great stride and that has to be a great way of living without a doubt.

Would you really want such a burden on Bitcoin? There is only 21million of Bitcoin out there and over 8 billion people in the world. Majority of these people belong to the medium and lower class and the rich is definitely taking most of the advantage from the Bitcoin initiative so, where do the lower class come in? Where do they get the funds to break in. Let’s not forget, these category of persons exists because they don’t really have and there would always be this kind of division in humanity.
Bitcoin is rather here for ease of transacting rather than being the savior of the world and it’s dying economy.

It is a choice, bitcoin can be used for everyone, but not everyone expects bitcoin so in the end regardless of the word as ‘helped’ or not in the end it depends on the wishes and beliefs of the person himself.

We cannot impose everyone's will in viewing bitcoin and we also cannot prohibit everyone from hating bitcoin because it will clearly be very contrary to the concept of bitcoin which does free everyone without any coercion in the adoption carried out so I think by seeing this we must realise that in the end the choice is in the hands of each.

The fact that people are in bitcoin does not necessarily make them end well because the beliefs that must be fertilised from the start have proven that bitcoin is only for people who really believe in bitcoin.

It's a shame haha are you kidding or serious, we all contributing on our social level to educate people somehow if some people are not interested in doing any research on their own financial system what can we do for them?

Some people just exaggerate the role of Bitcoin the economic system is not that easy to reform, it's a super complex system reforming and evolving in that system is not a piece of cake, and Bitcoin cant help in any way with current economic problems.

Bitcoin truly is a gift to the world but it could have helped so many more people. It's a shame that it only truly benefits a small portion of the global population. It could've changed the world on a comprehensive societal and economic level.

Any thoughts?
bitcoin is a decentralized currency that happened to lasted on Earth based on it existence for less than 17 years if I am not mistaken but they are awareness of it went viral to the extent that most well-known countries is aware of Bitcoin existence so if bitcoin is to help people is because of the passion they have on Bitcoin so many persons does not have passion on Bitcoin so that is why you will see as if Bitcoin population is that low but I can attest to it that bitcoin is getting more population so based on downloads Bitcoin is a economic booster if you comprehend the method of Bitcoin investment

people who are struggling financially overall, have a lower chance of benefiting from Bitcoin as well.

That's the main point. Some people, including OP, need to understand that Bitcoin cannot help those who can't have access to it. If someone is already struggline with money, how in the world can they venture into something which would require them to have money to have access to it? This is why only a small percentage of the global population is currently benefitting from Bitcoin because they have access to it, they can afford to use their money and buy it for any purpose they find reasonable for them.

If someone doesn't have any money that they can spare, cryptocurrencies are not for them, for now, because we know cryptocurrencies, including Bitcoin, aren't usable all around the world which means you can't spend cryptocurrencies for buying groceries at a local shop or use it to have lunch or dinner at a restuarant because mainstream adoption is still in progress.

So currently, mostly those who wish to earn money using their money are into cryptocurrencies.

So currently, mostly those who wish to earn money using their money are into cryptocurrencies.

Even those who have access to and own bitcoin have no guarantee that it will benefit them. Only those with money and knowledge can benefit from bitcoin, those who have money but invest blindly and greedily will also lose. So don't get it wrong and think that bitcoin is the savior of the world and will help us all improve our lives, it all depends on each of us.

But we also need to admit that bitcoin gives us more opportunities and fairness than any other investment. Anyone with access to the Internet can invest in it without anyone's permission and people can invest with any amount of money they have. Unlike other forms of investment that require permission from certain organizations or a certain amount of capital, which is also a barrier for many people, but with bitcoin, everything will become easier.

Any thoughts?
In general, Bitcoin is the currency of the future. Although some people try to avoid it, but one day they will try to accept its presence. A simple example is this, someone can avoid Smartphones, but cannot avoid the internet that has a Smartphone. As governments try to leverage blockchain technology to expand their dominance by issuing digital currencies, one would find it hard to resist the presence of Bitcoin because its usefulness and function are also related to currency.

So based on the reality that has been going on for the past few years, it is better to buy Bitcoin as the most profitable value storage asset for the future. Nowadays you can also profit during volatile markets, the value can easily double, triple or maybe 10x. I don't want to look like a fool who always prioritizes selfishness by rejecting the presence of Bitcoin which can provide great benefits in the future, while there is still an opportunity, I will continue to take advantage of this great gift to achieve a better financial level.

When I first found bitcoin this was my initial thoughts, a new decentralized currency of the of the people that could change so so much.  What makes you say that it inst already?  I would argue it is.  Think about all the under-banked people in corrupt nations whom can't trust their governments or their banks, you don't think they are quietly accumulating and transacting in bitcoin to undermine their evil "overloads" ..it's happening more than most of us realize I believe.

.
.
.

1) Worldwide Media Publicity blitz: I go on the news and tell the world "my development team was telepathically visited and persuaded by ΛμϞιηα to engineer a charity coin to prove humanity is ready for First Contact[/b] and a Governance Token to ensure success of charity initiatives required for First Contact. Together, bitcoin21x and IIBTC21X provide a platform for institutions and the public to collaborate effectively to end global poverty, war and save humanity."

.
.
.

uhhh.... Didn't you have an entire altcoin ANN dedicated to your ΛμϞιηα lore but gave up?

C'mon, you and your team weren't visited by a transcendent extraterrestrial race and they certainly aren't the group behind Satoshi either. After asking if they'd be willing to give some funds to potential developers of this 'new system', you crashed out and stated that you 'experienced too much pressure' which isn't that unreasonable but seems to be an excuse since there is no alien race willing to fund whatever you are doing lol

Also, having ideas of that may be world-changing isn't enough to convince people especially on this forum as you have no foundation or system to continue off of. You just want to create a team to create from the bottom up but that would be unnecessarily hard since your looking for people through this forum.

We're all skeptics here, and we don't just jump ship just cuz someone posted an inspirational-wannabe statement about how their 'idea' is revolutionary. Countless people before you have stated that too, the only thing that can make you different from the others in the past, is to have something to prove that viability of your idea.

Satoshi Nakamoto didn't just post the idea of Bitcoin onto a forum and asked for people to help with creating it from the ground up. Satoshi had already worked the idea and created it and later posted the progress of it which is what led to other people online to take interest in helping to maintain and improve Bitcoin.

Also, to try and persuade the members of this forum to move from the Bitcoin ecosystem to a completely new Bitcoin ecosystem is the most pointless thing to do as nobody on this forum will move an inch away from Bitcoin unless there is solid proof and evidence that the newer Bitcoin ecosystem is more viable and may be the successor of the original Bitcoin ecosystem. Until then, all this post about 'changing lives all over the world!' is pointless and as you've mentioned yourself, the answers you'll receive from the forum may sound blatantly sad and depressingly pessimistic.

If you are sincere about what you've stated, all I can offer you is my prayers and best wishes that you can create such a thing (or at least the foundations of it) to prove what you are working towards; only then, willmight you see some hope in the words of the forum.
