Maybe what OP meant, those who have invested in bitcoin have indirectly changed their finances and indeed until now bitcoin has not changed the economy in a big way but if you look at the increasingly unstoppable growth of bitcoin, it is possible that one day bitcoin will be adopted by many countries so that it can change the economy in a big way. For example, now we can see like El Salvador which adopted bitcoin as a currency and benefited from bitcoin.

Even if bitcoin adoption becomes more widespread, it is unlikely to have a significant impact on a country's economic development. Does Bitcoin create jobs and income for people? Is Bitcoin given to everyone for free or do people need money to own it...? So it can be said that bitcoin cannot make any significant impact on any country.

Although El Salvador has made bitcoin legal tender, people there use fiat instead of bitcoin for payments and there have been no reports of bitcoin's impact in boosting their economy. What El Salvador is doing is they are investing in bitcoin and luckily they are making a significant profit. But this is not a solution to improve the economy because if bitcoin suddenly has problems and is dumped then what will happen to them?

Of course it's not bitcoin's fault because bitcoin since it first existed has been accessible to everyone, it's just that at that time there were still many people who were skeptical about the growth of bitcoin. But now with the increasingly rapid growth of Bitcoin, it has helped many people, especially in terms of finance. Bitcoin certainly cannot be enjoyed by the entire world's population, this is the same as gold, not all world residents have gold.

Bitcoin has really changed the way we see currencies and we don't have to always be dependent on fiat currency when we can hold and keep our currency digitally. Since the launch of Bitcoin, we have seen huge market dominance in the blockchain aspect, and now people are seeing good reasons why they have to keep their funds digitally without any third part in between. A lot of people’s live has been changed because pf bitcoin, those who believed benefits a lot in BTC. It has given us already a lot of signs in the past but those who only trusted the technology behind it will be the one who step up. The point here is, this is a path for financial freedom, you just need to be aware on everything, you just need to grab the opportunity. There are different arguments to Bitcoin been a currency but personally, I don't see it as a currency. It's an appreciating assets. See Bitcoin like a digital gold, you can exchange it for anything as long as there is demand for it but it's not a currency because you will never see anyone use it as a currency but as a reserve and means of putting their wealths intact so inflation wouldn't tamper with their assets, this is why there is speculation of it adoption by us government.
