So after Jake Paul beat Mike Tyson a few days ago, a bunch of UFC wrestlers offer to beat him up fight him in the ring.

And then iShowSpeed the streamer comes in and says he could beat this guy in a boxing match if he professionally trained for 6 months.

Then Jake Paul's manager offers him $20 million for the fight. $10m of it if he beats Paul.

Do you guys think this match-up will happen?

Me, personally, I don't think so, but I've seen more outlandish things happen.

I think Jake ought to slow it down for just a little while on some of these fights until the dust settles with this latest one that was complete garbage. Why the hell would he make that comment at the end he’s such an idiot that can’t keep his mouth shut. lol homie has a BIG mouth! And an even bigger ego. He is also a con artist lmao but the odd thing is that I like him a little bit because he is just so strange yet strategic but so dumb lmao

Big mouth=big money, simply as that. So he can't really stay away from this sports or at least call someone as his next opponent, just look at how much money him and Mike Tyson made. And that is his pure inspiration here, to really make a lot of money out of the fans that are willing to watch his garbage fight.

And if we are going to stop watching or buying his tickets, for sure this kind of exhibitions matches are going to stop for good. But not going to be case, he knows how to promote his fight and then we all jump on the hype. So whoever he decided to fight, there are fans that are going to be scam by this con artist.

Jeez, the ridiculous stories about these wannabe athletes never ends. That would of course be a welcome opponent for Paul since it's yet another guaranteed win against an undersized, underweighted (compared to Paul) and unexperienced guy. Exactly what he is looking for, basically checking all the boxes except the age cause for once Paul would be the older one of the 2.
Sure, "speed" can train and get some muscle but not in 6 months. The weight difference between these 2 would be significant even after 1 year. Being 10cm taller with a wider reach is also something speed can't overcome.
The only advantage he would have is as his name, speed. Probably he has more endurance, agility and so on, but that's about it. If good punch from Paul comes through it's good night.

Look at iShowSpeed skills. Even though they are in octagon, and Dan Hooker is MMA fighter, they have used big gloves and boxing. If this is just a super light sparring, what iShowSpeed is going to show us in 6 months ? Even if all Jake fights were scripted, and all his opponents spared him, Jake will knockout that dude easily.

We all knew that ishowspeed is doing this crazy stuff for the content and entertainment. I think this will be same expectation for him against Jake even with long preparation because he is not cut out for physical sports.

I saw though a video of iShowSpeed having a fight against a MMA fighter, but I forget his name, saw Israel Adensanya as well. But not sure how old this video is, and it looks like iShowSpeed is really not big, probably walking around 160 lbs++ tops so it's really a mismatch.

But hey, if we talk about millions and trying to be famous, who knows, he is one of the most famous streamers already in social media and this is what Jake Paul is looking for. To capitalized on some famous celebrities in the internet in the name of money grab. As far as I see, Jake does not participate in everything that generate some money. Some boxers, even former champs called him for a fight, but he ignores them. Celebrities also challenge him for a fight, but he does not accept that. If it was really only about money, he would fight every week. If it was only about hype, he would fight every youtuber. What I think, that in some way Jake thinks about his potential boxing rating, record or skill. His opponent must be media famous+have some skill+have some value in martial arts. iShowSpeed is only famous.

Former athletes are his target, specially some legends that has the hype before. So I do agree, specially if he is going to fight anyone, it could really get a lot of hype. And he can only generate it that way if he chooses a previous athletes that is very well known. IShowSpeed could have a lot of fans, a bigger fan based but are they fans of boxing? I highly doubt it, so this might be one Jake Paul's lowest generated fight if he chooses to go with it.

As I have posted before, it could be on some basketball player, or maybe he will choose another former UFC fighters. And in his post fight interview, he was mentioning Canelo Alvarez, this could generated that hype but Canelo are going for a big paycheck for sure as he is still very much active in boxing and he might not give up his career and fight Jake Paul.
