Hi.. There’s been a lot of recent hype around Dogecoin, especially following Donald Trump’s win. The price action has shown some strong bullish candlesticks, likely influenced by Elon Musk’s frequent post about it even naming an upcoming government organization with the initials.

At the moment, I’m considering staking Doge here because the
APR looks quite attractive and it's also flexible.. My plan is to hold it for the long term, ideally until it potentially reaches $1—or even higher, depending on the market hype

Doge ATH is $0,7316, and it has been on a very good run lately! Also it has increased 362.0% in value last 12 months.
It's not easy for a token with a supply of 146 872 186 383 to reach $1.
But I actually think it's possible that Doge will reach $1 and then will it get affected of a very hard fall afterwards.

Whatever you think is going to happen or is happening should not influence your decision. Dogecoin is a good investment considering how meme coin narrative works in the bull run considering the present situation or in the past.

I feel another push of Bitcoin price when it breaks 100K should get Dodge coin price to pump again. It is certain for me that the price might someday go to what you are speculating. Yet, I don't see that time coming in the near future. Well! I might be wrong.

The Price is somewhat unpredictable at the moment since we are at a point in the Bitcoin bull run where anything can happen but since most speculators point to Bitcoin reaching 100k and if that happens at that exact point also dogecoin will be sitting at a $ 1 price benchmark as expected from your narrative, dogcoin have been a good investment and have received a lot of attention since after the US election and for that, we expect alot of tragetary from the market that will change alot of things for it market value, although we can tepl when accurately that pruce will ve achieved but if all things being equal we are reaching there soon enough.

During this period of increase Doge managed to rise to $0.42 this is also due to the actions of Elon Musk who continues to tweet on his doge meme, why do I say that because Doge's increase usually occurs when Elon Musk tweets about this meme.

Doge to $1 is still very possible depending on how strong during this bullishness, and now it is meme season for some people to say because there are many memecoins that appear even thousands every day, so the hype on memecoins is still ongoing and the effect on Doga will be very strong to rise.

In the future, yes, I think it's possible, but how long it's going to take is what I'm not certain about, and I don't think anyone can give an accurate prediction of that.

If they told us a few years ago that the coin, which was just regarded as nothing, will eventually see a breakthrough up to the extent that its ATH high was about $0.7, no one could have believed it. The supply of Dogecoin might be very high, but in this crypto space, nothing is impossible. It will only take time, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible.

Thinking about the recent Trump presidential win and possible changes coming next year I noticed a few coincidences that I can't overlook.
Elon Musk and Trump have been joined at the hip since his win this month. Trump has placed a loyalist in charge of the Justice Dept that would give him almost a license to steal with Matt Gates. Knowing that Trump only has 4 more years at this point and is always looking to make a quick buck, I think him and Elon have something cooking that all of us can make a dollar on. Or not. You decide for yourself.

Elon has always been a fan of Dogecoin. Hell, even the new department he oversees is called Department of Government Efficiency - DOGE
Elon's two companies TESLA and SpaceX already accept Dogecoin. In fact, SpaceX has accepted Dogecoin (DOGE) as payment for the rescheduling of the much-anticipated DOGE-1 Mission to the Moon.

What's to keep Elon or Trump from proposing that Dogecoin would be the official Crypto of the United States. Even if it couldn't get through congress or even happen for that matter just the fact that Trump and Elon are supporting it would cause the price of Dogecoin to go through the roof essentially replacing Bitcoin as the top crypto. Since Bitcoin is already so expensive Trump and Elon can't make a fortune on it but Dogecoin presents the possibility for them to make Billions at the current price. And it's Cheap enough at .37 cents a coin that almost all Americans can get on board with it. Hell, just the rumor would cause other countries and markets to get in on it as well boosting the value and Making Elon and Trump billionaires. And with Elon's competitive personality you know he wants to surpass Bezos as the richest man in the world.

Am I completely off base here or does anyone else see patterns here in the small details?

The effect of Donald Trumph’s success in US Election didn’t only affect Doge coin, it has effect in the crypto market in general because Bitcoin have massive pump after his success, and the effect helps a lot of Alton’s to start recovering as quick as possible.

Yes, it is very possible because the coin have some good backings of Elon Musk, and for him been an influential person in crypto space, the hype on the project will keep growing provided he is still interested in cryptocurrency. However, Doge coin can go above $1 if Bitcoin price keeps moving upward.

Doge is a POW network, not POS. If someone is staking your DOGE it means they are gambling with it and when the rug gets pulled you lose.

Staking Dogecoin (DOGE) in the traditional sense is not possible because Dogecoin operates on a proof-of-work consensus mechanism, not a proof-of-stake. However, there are alternative methods to earn a return on your DOGE holdings through custodial services.

It's realistic, as long as the crypto market worth also rising up, the thing is BTC.D still dominates now reaching 62%, for DOGE to grow and other alts as well, it needs that number to go down, which I don't think it will anytime soon, I think it can pretty much shoot up to 70% at some point, but if you just holding DOGE anyway I guess that won't be a problem.

we all know how resilient memes are in this market, they are the most high performing coin in this year, so expect good thing with DOGE, it's just that maybe it will take some time.

I remember people asked this question when doge was around $0.00024 in 2019/2020 or so. But the price of doge is $0.38 now. It rose to over $4.3 recently. It is not up to 2.7x needed to take it to $1. If doge is still a good asset and remain to be like that, it will get to $1. I do not know the time it can happen but it will happen one day. If it will get to $1 in this bull market, I do not know. So do not be fooled by holding doge. When the bear market is around the corner and doge has not got up to $1, it is better you sell until the bear market is about to be over.

Dogecoin probably won’t hit $1 , atleast thats what i think so because there's just too much of it out there ( supply) and more keeps getting added every year. It doesn’t have much real world use so most of its value comes from hype and memes. For it to hit $1, its market cap would need to skyrocket past hundreds of billion of dollars, which is pretty unrealistic given the stiff competition and lack of serious development. Add in regulatory risk and it’s more of a fun coin than one with long-term potential. People are just hoping elon to keep pumping it and everyone has a target price so people will eventually sell it other than keep if it reaches at that price point.

Personally i value coins with a use case that i think will make significant impact ..unlike memecoins!

There's lots of discussion happen related to possible growth of DOGE especially that Elon Musk is one biggest contributor of success gotten by Trump. But actually we don't have great inputs yet if there's certain great hype will be created with this recent events happening in politics scene.

So if you are going to risk and try to hodl DOGE then its up to you if you can handle the risk and for waiting to long before it happen. Since everything is no guarantee at this point. Maybe the only thing you could do for now is to follow the movement of Elon Mus, since if he start to hype up Dogecoin then maybe this indicate that there's something good will happen to this coin and there's possibilities that $1 price might get hit.

The possibility is there and we can't really deny it, I am not saying we are going to get a terrible result, we could potentially get a good result here and we can't make a lot of sense of the situation right now. We need to see that first Elon Musk get in a governmental position and do something about it, if he keeps on promoting it then it could go up, I am not saying it "will", I am just saying it "could", the potential is there but we would never know what's going to happen.

We could literally see it reach 99 cents and crash afterwards. Things do not always make sense in doge world. Like for example last bull run, we saw Elon Musk get on SNL and talk about dogecoin and in the same 24 hours we have seen Doge crash, that never made any sense to me but it did happen. So we need to wait and see if it will do fine or not.

If this bull season continues through next year, we probably could see doge coin reaching its previous ATH or might even surpass it.  Last week, I was shorting the coin on Futures option, when the price pulled up from $0.2 to $0.3, I got liquidated in that trade though.  I didn't set my stop lose before I left the market to play out.

Then do that, no one will stop you if you genuinely want to stake your dogecoin on a centralized platform. Many does that but are also aware of the possible implications and risks that it has. I think many are also wanting to see Dogecoin gets to $1 and they have no other things want to do but just to hold.

We will never know. Continuous supply, unlimited supply but with bull run and when money from BTC starts to flow from the alts, we'll see it from there.

your best bet is for Elon's new D.O.G.E (Department of Government Efficiency) to keep making some headlines in news to hype up the doge coin.
seems completely unrelated but degens on meme space will always take whatever hype news there is as a reason to keep buying memes.

but since doge coin's ATH around 0.7 anyway, might tike a little while until doge can reach $1, maybe when really big alt season is coming, around the time where BTC still holding $100k and bitcoin's dominance going down.
which is just a thesis since there is no guarantee such thing will happen.

for all I know people can just stuck with BTC.
