$100k waiting room [status: achieved]

We're almost there lads. Today we've hit another ATH of $99,014, so less than 1% away from the magic number.
As expected, there's some more resistance here, but hopefully the greed will kick in and sellers will move their orders a bit higher. With good winds, we might see it breaking past within a few hours or a day, but small correction or some side action before that happening is also fairly possible.

Anything that happens we are ready for it because we have being waiting patiently for this price for a long time, I read that those that were around in the past bull market all thought that the price was going to happen in the last bull market but was unable to happen. Nothing is stopping it from happening in this bull market and thank God I am part of this bull market to witness the $100,000 milestone of Bitcoin. There is lots of resistance at that price and it is understandable that many people are thinking about taking profits at that price as it is a whole number that they can not resist. I think the market will go further therefore I do not have any interest in taking profits at that price. We are getting closer and we might reach that price before the week ends or by next week.

Probably bitcoin will that mark in any daw from now but I feel after that many would feel that it gain too much and probably a retracement would occur. Only a speculation, but it seems the phasing is quite too fast isnt it.

Bitcoin dominance is still up and theres no signal yet to shift from altcoin, do you think alts dominance will reverse anytime soon? Or bitcoin would continue the wave?

I became part of this market at a time in which bitcoin was roughly worth that much, and if the amount that you bought at the time was not high then to keep holding it until these days would not be that hard since you would not be tempted to sell, however if the amount invested in bitcoin was high then resisting the temptation to sell until now would have proved way more difficult, as an investment of 10k would be worth 1.42 millions, and we know this is not really the end of this bull run so that amount could go way higher.

In fact, I used to be more tempted by short-term profits, even though the value was quite large for me, I still pulled 2x profits into fiat to fulfill my needs. Lol
It is difficult for if you reach from 10K to 1.42M whoever the investor will be tempted earlier, so I say it is difficult to maintain.
At least the increase has now earned 3x profit starting from the low price a few years ago so if the price continues to rise then we can reach 5x.

Also , I am wondering if Bitcoin will continue to grow or will it be correct because I think there will be a lot of sellers when the price hits $100k .

there might be a big retracement after hitting $100k though I think, can't deny that there will be a lot of seller, with all the currently brewing news like MSTR stocks dropping and Citron shorting on MSTR which supposedly can help with their massive BTC buyings as we call it the big financial institutions buys.

but whatever the outcome will be I'll be ready to just DCA if prices went below $80k somehow, I think even in the next bearish season BTC couldn't go below $70k, but well see.

From what i have observed from forums to social media , most people say they will sell bitcoin when the price hits $100k because that is the target they have set for a long time .  so the scenario of a big pullback is easy to predict but will it happen as we think ? If  most people will sell when the price hits $100k, then who will buy bitcoin at that price ? I don't think the market will be predictable and market makers will make it easier for retail investors like us to benefit  .

Bitcoin has not hit $100k yet and is there a case where bitcoin price will not hit $100k and will correct from now on? In my opinion, if this scenario happens, there will be a lot of people selling because they fear that the market will fall into a bear season.  I do not rule out this possibility . 

We still don't know what the highest ATH was during the bull season so it's impossible to say that bitcoin will never fall below $80k during the bear season.

Like what you said, I expect $100,000 as a psychological resistance as well and there might be many sellers out there who already put their positions at that price hence, it might push the price below it before reaching it. On the flip side, I don't think that it will last long because after all, we are in a bull run and what we are seeing are a constant higher low being created towards Bitcoin and some altcoins as well.

I also put a selling position on the $100,000 price already. IIRC, I'm selling around 20% of my total Bitcoins that I'm holding at that price. I still remember the time when I joined the crypto space way back 2017 when the price of it was around $2000. Now it's at near $100,000 already. A 50x return in just 7 years. What kind of asset class can give that huge of a return in just a short span of time? Stock Market on average give only 7-8% annually depending on the situation. TBH, I have some regrets right now because I also put some funds on the Stock Market and saying to myself "what if I withdrew it all and instead invested on Bitcoin?" 

I was actually surprised, I know its psychological but usually that means attacking 100k and dropping big time to below 90k but so far, not much drops and much quicker attacks.

The thing about big resistance is once its broken, usually its free for all. I expect once 100k is broken, we're gonna see 110, 120 very fast.

I dont have bitcoin I just lost trade yesterday and basically Im rekt on this bull run but I do have ethereum that I stake on couple defi platfrom and I hope all of thoose make a good return as well as bitcoin, just waiting the altseason happen and boom.

And the gain is actually much and the retracement might happen but we know that bitcoin can not be predictable sometimes so it is better to stick to the holding or even sell some the moment it hits 100k because for sure it's going to hit that point and their is like the best period for bitcoin holders their was a massive increase that is why it's like their is going to be a retracement.

You don't own any bitcoin in your portfolio and you mainly hold altcoins, especially ETH? It would be a big mistake if we didn't have bitcoin in this cycle when the majority of money is flowing into bitcoin. As you can see, Bitcoin has grown from $15k to $99k while ETH is still showing much slower performance than Bitcoin and many other altcoins. So far, investing in ETH and layer2 is considered the worst as they grow very slowly in this cycle.

I also believe in altcoin season but I am still more focused on bitcoin.

The $100,000 price was a dream for most not that long ago. Everybody is witnessing an extraordinary moment in the history and evolution of Bitcoin but before we all get carried away we should be cautious. The price is making people wealthy but there is also the possibility the price could fall again before touching $100,000.

My advice to anybody reading this, before investing you should remember to be prepared for the inevitable crash. Only invest what you are willing to lose if things do not work out as you hoped for.

I got into bitcoin when its price was 600-700$/BTC and seeing it cross 10k USD back in 2017 made my day back then. Now 7 years down the line bitcoin is about to break 100k USD and this is indeed going to be a historic moment.

Once it is touched, a lot of selling will happen but I am sure we will cross and move forward from that price too. Celebrate or not, this type of movement in a speculative market indeed makes the news swell up which on the other hand dont seem to be making that much of a buzz.

Bitcoin price changes over time, you will notice that the further it moves into the future, the more its value will increase, which is proven in the present time. The price of Bitcoin is very volatile, so it is only possible to succeed in it through long-term investment, the price of Bitcoin has increased the most at the present time at the end of 2024. However, the increase in the price of Bitcoin will have some impact in 2025 as well, because at the present time we are still moving forward with the bull run.

You are registered on the year of 2014 and yet still have a doubts on BTC? Deym. It is not only about being positive alone but there are also factors around that can support it. If you are genuine, you will know about stuffs like the halving and this year was one of the halving time for BTC and there are evidences that it helps the price to rise, so you should have been positive about the coin just like any other people out there.

In addition to that, there is also ETF approval (I think if I'm not mistaken) and then there is also Trump that is now into BTC. Him winning the election might have fuelled things up, resulting for us now to see BTC close to $100k. Anyway, it is still great that you changed your mind now.

There are really people like this that they don't believe not until they see a solid proof. The only problem now is like you said, you don't have a Bitcoin left but you can always buy again and if you lack in funds, maybe you can use a portion of your ETH for a while? Speaking of ETH, it is also a good crypto and can definitely do more good in the bull run, so you can choose to HODL it for now. You mentioned alt season there and I think this happens after a BTC/bull run, so this gives us a double boom for some of our altcoins.

But there's none, market is being resilient as we are back to $98k and I can't count how many times we have to attempt to get into $100k, but I have a feeling that at the end of the month or first week of December, we might finally see it get's broken and that that 6 digits will be our support line.

Just think about it, $100k as support line and then we are moving to $110-> whatever the new all time high will be?

It's already a significant boost and I will say that it the feeling could be similar to 2017 massive bull run wherein when everyone here was there that time.

Is like the market price is teasing us, when it got to $99k I thought getting to $100k would be an easy thing but $99k became the last ATH for now, who knows if it will be by December that's when we are going to get to the expected $100k? Well it doesn't change the fact that Bitcoin price has been impressive for the past 2-3 weeks and I hope things continues to be in shape till whenever we get to that 6 digits. Only less than 1% to reach the price of $100K from the price of $99k is not something that needs to be awaited to celebrate happiness because for me the achievement of $99k is the happiness that I have celebrated.
Predictions will be achieved $100K will occur at the end of 2024 for me to be achieved because if in December the only a few days the price will pass $100K and now only needs to be enjoyed on the ongoing correction.
