Today marks the 15th anniversary of the founding of the forum, and although nobody asked for it, as a three-time Miss Bitcointalk winner, I feel it is my duty to the forum to provide this type of entertainment for such an auspicious occasion. (Besides, I have my reputation as vixen to maintain. )

Wow! @Foxpup I can say whether or not anyone asked for it you did the right thing by bringing this to light, it's been an auspicious 15 years for forum and her past and present users alike.

Ita no gain saying that 15 years isn't 15 days and that's why it's worth celebrating because it has been a meaningful 15 years, which is calculatedly 180 months, 1,080 weeks and 5,475 days respectively. With the few years I have been here, I am proud to say am a benefactor of this great forum in knowledge and otherwise.

It's nice to see that the forum has lasted this long and of cause there should be celebration for it, just like hosting a contest or something else to boost the awareness even though it is to make a post on various social media to celebrate the forum i think it would also be much valuable. And Satoshi account is just a few days older than the new forum; just on the 19th of this month makes the founders account 15 years since creations.
 
It's double birthday, which deserves a double cake. 🥱... it's amazing how time flys, and if he's still somewhere watching, he will be impressed by how interesting both forums and bitcoin have turned out to be.

I know I ought not be giving Foxpup merits, lest people start to really think we're cycling merits amongst club members, but once in a while I just have to say FUCK'T.  Happy anniversary to the forum, and I bow before the vilest of vixens.

And boy oh boy, the longer I'm a member here, the more OG I get--even though I was about six years late to the party.  Most of the real OG members are long gone, presumably basking under the sunshine on their private islands they bought with bitcoin they mined or bought when it was worth pennies.  At least that's the impression I've always had.  This forum rocks, even with all of the garbage shitposters still present (hopefully that last part isn't what drove the old-timers away).

I've had my doubts as to whether Satoshi is one person, but if he is I do wonder where he's gone off to and if he might lurk on bitcointalk now and again.  My guess is that he probably doesn't, but who knows?

Happy 15th Anniversary to our Bitcoin Forum

Our bitcoin forum is 15 years old, noticed a similar thread on the Bitcoin discussion board about this topic.

On this special day today we would like to give a special tribute to the person who created this bitcoin forum.If he didn't create this forum we probably wouldn't know anything about this forum and Bitcoin. All credit to him alone, he is Satoshi Nakamoto.

 Personally, I have so many reasons to celebrate Bitcoin because Bitcoin helped me when my country and the fiat payment systems failed me. As at the time I learnt about Bitcoin and used it, there was complete restriction to FX for ordinary citizens like me except for exclusive purposes like payment of school fees and medical abroad. I had a small business that needed me to send money across borders but I couldn't use PayPal, Skrill, Neteller and other fiat payment systems because they were also restricted in my country due to our government policy. Upon further inquiry,  I was lucky to meet someone who referred me to Bitcoin and how to use same and I used it without stress and got all the solutions I sought.  

It was after a long time I realised I would have made a fortune if I had saved some of the Bitcoin I used in running my business then but I have no regrets because I appreciate the usefulness of Bitcoin and how it can help the ordinary people do business across the globe.

I decided to bring it up to show my appreciation of Bitcoin and how grateful I am to have learnt about this amazing technology that have not only made life easy for me and many but have also presented us with unlimited opportunities for financial freedom by simply buying and holding, the simplest task I have seen in the field of investing.

Happy 15th anniversary to Bitcointalk, the best place to learn about the best thing that have happened to me.

If the name is for a group of persons, then there is no way how few of them won't be checking up on the forum once in a while, even if they don't make a post.
 
If it's also a single person who is still very healthy, then no one will create such an amazing community like this and forget about it without even giving it a glance, which ever be the case, all we can do is wonder; we never can truly tell which is what.

I only opened the topic as I read NSFW, hahaha just kidding.

So 15 years now today this forum was created, happy anniversary to BTT. In these 15 years, many things happened not only with BTT but with BTC too. Although BTC outperformed all of our expectations and now around to touching $100k target, we can consider it an anniversary gift from BTC.

A site is up for 15 years and the admin here are one of the big players in moderating the first Bitcoin forums, reddits etc. Sorry OP don't know about you, as what's the miss bitcoin winner? I just explored your profile hmm did not get what the achievement was about (sorry if you mind).

Time flies so fast, already 15 years. I guess it's not that much for online forum, but we talk about cryptocurrency forum and it's been almost since beginning. I'm here since 2015, so, I've been here for quite significant part of Bitcointalk history.
Happy anniversary, Bitcointalk. I hope that we will celebrate many anniversaries in the future too.

Miss Bitcointalk was/is one of the annual Bitcointalk Community Awards for excellence in various categories organised by icopress. (And before anyone asks, no, I did not create this thread to boost my chances of winning this year. I mean obviously it will, but that's just a side benefit, honest.)

This forum is worth celebrating as it has imparted lives in the bitcoin and crypto space. I would say this that there is no platform as rich as The Bitcointalk Forum when it comes to bitcoin education and expository. I personally have learnt a lot my few years on this platform, I could say that I was able to stand firm in the digital financial world as a result of my encounter with this great platform, I was able to impart lives about Bitcoin and crypto as a result of the knowledge I have gained through this platform, I have made friends here who also imparted me with knowledge to be able to stand firm in the space.

It would take a long page to write about my life changing experience with Bitcoin and encounter with The Bitcointalk Forum.  I would not forget the day a friend called me for help as he had nothing on him as he  used his money for medical bills and still in debt then I had no fiat but Bitcoin and he too had knowledge of bitcoin as I onboarded him, I had to the send him a fraction of bitcoin so he could easily convert it and clear up his medical bills remaining as I was not in town at that moment to go see him. After that, I had a thought over it how bitcoin made it very convenient and easy to make transfer so fast without  having to go out to the bank. That was then I realized that there is more to come as Bitcoin adoption continue to increase on daily basis.

So far so good, it has been a wonderful experience here on this platform. Many thanks to Satoshi the founder of this Great platform who has made it possible for intellectuals and great minds of different walks of life coming together to sharing ideas and information which have also made impart in the lives of millions of members on this platform. I would also say that I am happy to be a member of this  great platform which have changed lives and financial investment narrative of many including myself.

I’ve been here in the forum for almost 8 years, but I’m still not sure if I should be thankful or whatever for discovering Bitcointalk because I think Bitcointalk is one of the reasons why users, including myself, get addicted to online casinos. Sorry for considering Bitcointalk as one of the reasons why some users here get addicted to online casinos because that’s really what I see. For sure, some will disagree with my post, but I respect your opinion anyway.
