I have two sisters in my family that are heavily invested on Bitcoin, it was a secret that got revealed to me this year, they don't learn about Bitcoin from me and this is shocking, it at first made me felt bad about myself, I felt like I am the one doing the talking and they pretended like they don't care, am I the talkative?  Grin Grin you all know that feeling.

In my country many female youths are into crypto investments too I think gender is not important anymore, male or female we all want to make money and have a better future, the only difference here is risk tolerance, males tend to be more risky tolerance than female.

Kudos to your sisters - they are on the right path because of you  Grin

Does anyone know if more women are joining the Bitcoin bandwagon? I mean, the industry has always been dominated by men. But with BTC hitting the spotlight again due to a new ATH, things could change. Is there some sort of statistics/data/analytics regarding gender adoption of BTC? I'm curious to know.

By the way, I'd like to know what do women find attractive in Bitcoin (compared to men)?

Your input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. Smiley
Of course due to the increases in Bitcoin now have made some many women to realize that investing in Bitcoin is good. But although their is know how we can compared them with the men because when their is serious dip in the market men can tolerate without panicking, but when their is serious dip in the market woman can not hold their self while because they always like something that would bring profit to them without noing that their is also a risk involved it.

That's right, women are the most likely to panic in any situation than men. If price dips badly, most men can always take it. That's why in the investment sector in general, and not just Bitcoin, there are more men who are investors than you will ever see women being in the sector. So to me it's never really a big deal, but it is good to also see women getting along with the trend and we should always do our possible best in supporting them the right ways, whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Woman are adopting bitcoin but not as men, I heard about a woman who is a miner who bought huge amount of bitcoin following suit with microstrategy but I can't find the thread where I came across it here in BTT but apart from that more women are adopting.

Women are only inspired by the price spike of bitcoin but not ready to hodl for long.  You know women can be impatient in nature, and that is how they are wired naturally.  That's why they find it difficult to buy and hodl bitcoin for long because they are inpatient to hodl, they are more concerned about quick way of making money. That's why their level of adoption is slow.

In my opinion, both sexes are subject to greed, not just one.

But although their is know how we can compared them with the men because when their is serious dip in the market men can tolerate without panicking,
Yes, yes, tell me more. Smiley It sounds very funny, considering that most investors are men and as soon as a little negative news appears, all the cryptomarkets fall from their panic attacks, and the Internet is flooded with tears of horror and fear. Smiley

but when their is serious dip in the market woman can not hold their self while because they always like something that would bring profit to them without noing that their is also a risk involved it.
All these gender biases in investing seem stupid, because attention should be paid to whether the investor is an experienced or a beginner, and not whether he is a man or a woman. Beginners, regardless of gender, make the same mistakes.

Rightly said women are a little afraid to take risks they don't want to lose their money easily. They buy gold because they lose money by investing. Women don't know that bitcoin will be worth more than gold and if they have minimal knowledge about bitcoin investment they will never buy gold. Although the number of women is limited but with the advancement of current technology many women are working in tandem with men. Many women have joined crypto and are investing in bitcoin gradually its number will grow.
This is not only about knowledge but because women are not created dare to take risks and they prefer to choose a safer path in placing money. Technological advances will indeed provide opportunities for the increase in women involved in Bitcoin investment but the amount will not be more significant because it is in accordance with the ability of women to deal with risks. Women are more selective in choosing and maybe they will consider many things before deciding something and if it is done definitely based on careful consideration because actually women are more difficult to predict.

I wouldn't say it is tied up to gender; it is related more to the knowledge that a person has related to BTC itself and the current market.
Both can have shaky hands due to not knowing how things usually go.

You would hardly see any industry that is not dominated by men, I believe it's by nature, that men are the providers in the family. The mentality has made them up and doing everywhere trying to earn. But the percentage of women investing in Bitcoin is not less too, the 37% according to Cointelegraph is no joke.

To make money.

Both like the potential BTC has in that regard, but some go deeper with the knowledge they can get from either here or other great communities, while others are stuck on the thought of profits.

Then this statement could raise another question, why do women have less knowledge or interest in Cryptocurrency? The only good and rationale answer that comes to my mind is that men are generally more of a risk-taker than women, we could associate it with the fact that there are more males in extreme sports. Men are said to love the adrenaline and the rush in doing risk-taking activity. Therefore, in term of investment, women tend to choose what they thought as a safer option such as stockmarket.

Also the fact that men are seen as supposed to be a provider in our society generally, cause men to have more responsibility and cost to pay in order to provide, making them to take another approach in making more money including risk-taking job and Cryptocurrency, forcing them to see a better opportunity within risk.

Bitcoin shares equal opportunities both for men and women, that's why it's not surprising anymore why lots of women today are hooked into bitcoin. Aside that it creates opportunity for financial freedom and independence, it has also high potentials to boost women empowerment. The more women makes their own money, the more empowered they are. And lastly, bitcoin is a product of technology and innovation, and since we are now in a digital society, both men and women are exposed to bitcoin.

I think the mindset of panicking when there is a dip in bitcoin depends on individual difference because there are also men who panic when the market dip while there are also women who don't panic when the market dip. Those that knows the potentials of bitcoin and has long time investment plan will never panic when there is a dip in the market instead they will see it as an opportunity or an advantage to accumulate more and more bitcoin to their portfolio. Bitcon investment shouldn't be seen as a get rich quick scheme but should be seen as a long term investment.

mate it said that they did not learn about bitcoin from him lol

these days we can no longer identify what kind of person is just based on their gender just because one is a woman does not mean that she has no capacity to learn about bitcoin on her own or maybe from other women in her life gone are the days where men are always leading women into something and personally i think that this is a good progress for the world because this means we can all focus on self improvement and then collaborate with one another to learn and discuss rather than one person dragging another

i also think that it really should start from the primary family imagine how easy life would be if all of your family members were financially independent that would be the ideal life for me

On the contrary, in as much as I agree with you but it is very important  you know that some women have a higher risk tolerance than some men to be sincere with you i know of a woman who are very much active in investing on shitcoins irrespective of how risky it is compared to Bitcoin and where majority of us men can never attempt to ever invest on shitcoins, there are women who refuses to accept any form of gender inequality hence they feel very much comfortable in doing certain things people may feel they can't. However, generally women are less risky compared to men in percentage.

In my opinion, gender is not important in the Crypto world, because we all know that in this modern era there are many career women, even in some countries there are women who become heads of state, and I am not surprised if many women are interested in Bitcoin, because they open their eyes that currently Bitcoin is a very profitable investment.

At least you have friends to share bitcoin with now and that's a good thing because in the end the conversation will become more interesting when we are on the same track. My partner is also currently starting with bitcoin although maybe this is just influenced by what I did but at least it is a good thing in my opinion even though he is not forced to be here but trying to find out what bitcoin is and starting to be interested in it makes him even more search for more information than I did so maybe even his provision of analysis is now much better but of course his aggression is also high so I am more often trying to remind him that in the end risk is also important even in investment.

For now it seems that gender is not a limitation even not only that in the conditions that occur now gender, age, race and so on there are no obstacles as long as the internet can be accessed and a high willingness to be in bitcoin then everything can still be done because after all when talking about anonymity there is really no limit to anyone who wants to be in the scope of bitcoin then do it while you can.

I never thought about it from that angle, because I am a woman, and I have been using Bitcoin for quite a long time, and I have been interested in cryptocurrencies for about 5-6 years. So for me it is just normal, and I see no reason why women should not get involved in this area. I think there is no such gender predisposition, it is rather a question of interest. I know numerous men who are not interested in Bitcoin at all, but at the same time I have many female friends who are open to cryptocurrencies and the use of Bitcoin.
Perhaps another reason is because women do not like to invest in high-risk assets, for example bitcoin or other cryptos, but now many women see clearly that bitcoin is a profitable asset because I myself have several women who are involved in using bitcoin even though they have only known bitcoin for more than 1 year.

In my area there are many seminars on crypto and automatically their main investment is the biggest bitcoin in their portfolio, so with observant now women are no longer an excuse because indeed this is normal anyone can invest in bitcoin.
This is true on which i have some friends which are girls that doesnt really like to get involved with crypto or something that making lose that money. They dont really want on something that they can spend up and losing it all or simply they arent that wanting to deal up with things or simply not that adveturous and risks takers on which it is different from male, but somehow not all people will really be that the same because there are indeed women who do deal up with crypto just like on what that qouted user above on which its true that dealing up with crypto doesnt really need up of a certain gender on which it will be basing up on someones interest and preference because there are women who wo want to deal up with crypto space because they've seen the opportunity that it does give specially on having that potential profits in the future on just simply holding. Its not necessary that you be that become a trader for you to earn because you can just simply hold your position then you do already have that chance on making up some gains and this is where some women be able to handle it out. The main thing that comes up into their mind is that to make use of money on buying up their beauty related things instead on trying to invest into crypto and lose it all. Im not generalizing but women is something like this and thats why its really that less in compared to male but actually we cant be able to exactly tell about the numbers due that we wont be able to know on whose behind these accounts whether a male or female. The important thing here is that doesnt matter about the gender because anyone could deal with crypto space on sharing up on the same target or goals.

To me, this sounds like a stereotype that doesn't apply to all women. The ability to take risks is not a gender characteristic. In my life, I much more often encounter men, who don't want to do anything because they are afraid of losing money. And my arguments that they lose money precisely because they do nothing with it do not work, because people are simply afraid of risk. Whereas I take risks quite often, because without risk there are no rewards. And if you want to do something significant and large-scale in this life, then risk is an unavoidable condition.

Risk is everywhere, even with BTC, - but that risk, just like any other, should be calculated and analysed.
If a person imagines the odds and the facts stay on his side, even if it's only his guess - he would go in. And with Bitcoin - who wouldn't "risk" it?
Because we know how it behaves and operates.

Girls are becoming wiser Because the are trying to imitate that hustling spirit that a man processes, desperate, the supportive nature of women, I am surprised that the way they pick interest into investing in bitcoin and years back You're find very few women who do bitcoin but as it is the number of Female investors have increased by the initial number, which is actually a good sign, and there are more women who are likely to invest in bitcoin and for your sisters, you should encourage them the more so that they will bring more women to the industry.

I think this is a all-country because if you look at most of these crypto Academy, you see a lot of women in the Academy, and if you could  rate there performance majority of them are doing better than the men, we know men love to take risks, but this generation of women are taking shape to taking more risk than the men and they are using another tactics  to actually sustain there self in the industry and that is why whenever I see a woman in the game I  personally choose to encourage them.
