To me, this sounds like a stereotype that doesn't apply to all women. The ability to take risks is not a gender characteristic. In my life, I much more often encounter men, who don't want to do anything because they are afraid of losing money. And my arguments that they lose money precisely because they do nothing with it do not work, because people are simply afraid of risk. Whereas I take risks quite often, because without risk there are no rewards. And if you want to do something significant and large-scale in this life, then risk is an unavoidable condition.

Risk is everywhere, even with BTC, - but that risk, just like any other, should be calculated and analysed.
If a person imagines the odds and the facts stay on his side, even if it's only his guess - he would go in. And with Bitcoin - who wouldn't "risk" it?
Because we know how it behaves and operates.

Not everyone is ready to take risks with Bitcoin, be it men or women. It is so precisely because of ignorance and lack of information. For those who have been following the development of Bitcoin for a long time, many things seem obvious, and Bitcoin always turns out to be quite unpredictable, otherwise everyone would have already made money on it. And those who do not delve into the crypto theme at all do not see patterns, do not dare to invest in Bitcoin.

As at 2020,The poll by Binance 2021 (data collected in October 2020 across 178 countries) indicated that women are only 5% of the total number of crypto users worldwide.However, crypto ownership among women rose significantly, from 18% in 2023 to almost 30% at the start of 2024.The smaller number of female investors compared to men can be attributed to the fact that only 48% of women participate in the stock market, in contrast to 66% of men, coupled with the observation that women generally do not prioritise investing as a top financial endeavour.
Despite the fact that men are being seen as the risk bearer and women being seen as weak,there are others who have stood out of the crowd and made efforts towards investments in bitcoin such as the likes of Eunice Wong,Irene Zhao,and so many others.

Financial freedom. This is the same thing every man finds in Bitcoin, but only a few women are willing to be financially free. For better understanding, I meant freedom to control and own their finances without any central authority, making large payments and large withdrawals of their money at ease whenever they feel like it. Most women we see in Bitcoin today are women who are in several businesses or own private companies. They have adapted Bitcoin to make fast transactions and take deals.

Let before i forget. Another thing is privacy. Some women do not want people around to know their financial status. So they will secure large sum in Bitcoin for a long time instead of physical properties while they keep some Bitcoin in a different wallet for spending.

Actually, it's proven that men take more risks than women alone. Why do you think the majority of men are businessmen? Women entrepreneurs and businesswomen are the small minority. However, I believe this could change in the future. The gender gap will no longer exist, paving the way for equality in our society.

It's hard to tell which gender is using BTC because of its pseudonymous nature. But I'm certain the number of women involved in Bitcoin is growing. Especially when young generations are quite fond of digital payments. Who knows? Maybe we'll see more women as CEOs of crypto exchanges, startups, companies, and even as core Blockchain developers. I'll wait 10 more years to see what happens...

You have raised a very important point that, in the present time, girls are not lagging, they are also coming forward with the modern world and trying to do something good in line with it. We all know very well that girls are 100% ahead in privacy compared to males. They always like to keep their financial status hidden. They want to complete everything very easily, any kind of transaction. They love to be completely fair and free the most. The way they save money, it can be said that Bitcoin savings can be a good way for girls. They do not spend their money unless they need it very much, so if they can keep Bitcoin in savings, they can save it well.

Women will play the most important role in using BTC. Shortly, it may be seen that women have the largest amount of Bitcoin.

I've done P2P trades for a few times in my life and I can tell you that out of 5 cases, I've traded with 2 women (3 men). It was really shocking for me but as it seems, women are into cryptocurrencies but overall, they are under shadow because women don't care much about wealth creation, they care about their beauty because that's the best investment for them in terms of ROI (and the safest investment because with their beauty they get rich men, who take care of them and women spend money in beauty centers).
I believe that in cryptocurrencies, you'll mostly find women who were poor and this state motivated them to get info about something new, like Bitcoin and invest into it.

I believe that statistics will be different everywhere but from my experience, women don't use and don't invest in Bitcoin. I've been in crypto since 2015 and if I've seen someone interested in crypto, that's men and even in this case the statistics look terrible because many people are very sceptical and only have bad opinions.
I think that the reason why women aren't into crypto is that women aren't into Informational Technologies and programming. I work in an IT company as a UI/UX designer and from my personal experience, women are mostly in social media, marketing, customer support, HR department and management. Again from my experience, women are mostly in management and HR because the company owner likes their appearance because everywhere I have worked, these two departures suck all the time. It's very rare to see professional women in their job. When we want to hire a new UI/UX designer, I have to do all the HR job and HR gets paid more than me. That's very strange.

I quite agree with what you said that most of the women are more skeptical and do not want to take the risk to invest in bitcoin, and that causes less women to be active in the bitcoin market. take my friend for example, I introduced her to bitcoin because we were in the same information technology department in college. even though she is quite good at computers, she is still skeptical and reluctant to invest in bitcoin, even when she knew about it last year, she said she was only interested in computers but for things like bitcoin she was just reluctant to invest in it.

it's funny but that's how women are, most of them are reluctant to take the risk to invest in bitcoin even though they have the opportunity to invest in it.

For sure men dominates the cryptocurrency industry more, if we should go back to the beginning when bitcoin was new you could see that it was all dominated by men and by then you hardly see women who were into bitcoin. I think the reason why women are not much in the cryptocurrency industry is because of volatility which I think most women are not really ready to go into the market to handle the volatility of the market. Cryptocurrency have always been dominated by men so I don't need to be surprised why women are not much in it.

I have also seen in my cryptocurrency experience that there are more men than women in cryptocurrency. I have not seen many women in cryptocurrency so far. If I were to speak from my side, I would say that I work in cryptocurrency, my wife knows about it and she accepts the money I earn, but so far I have not seen any interest from her to work in cryptocurrency. My wife has not asked her to become an expert in cryptocurrency. Moreover, when I make a small profit in my Bitcoin investment, she repeatedly offers to sell me and if there is any loss in the investment, she quarrels with me. So it is understood that women cannot take risks and do not like to take risks.

You made a logical fallacy. It is not that the majority of men are businessmen. It is that the majority of businessmen are men. But even so, it is not because men take more risks than women, but because the human history for most of its duration provided opportunities to take risks to men, not women. It is still much easier for men to lunch a business activity, for women it is still several times harder, especially in more conservative and traditional societies. Because women, especially young ones (like me, for instance) often are not being taken seriously. And this is a huge obstacle for them to become engaged in business.

I think it's because of the risks involved in the bitcoin market that makes it look like women aren't flowing to invest on it but we just have to assume that to be some what untrue because if women can gamble, they can equally afford to face the threats on the bitcoin.
Even here on bitcointalk, I've come across numerous female given names who're actively on the discussions of bitcoin.
I don't think there'd be a data sheet to give the report pertaining the gender comparison in the bitcoin industry due to the decentralization of bitcoin currency and the decentralized wallets that users may not be required to disclose their genders.
So be it and accept it that bitcoin industry is for both genders but though not for the weak due to the volatility potentials.
