My opinion about this might be different or other people might not like my opinion but if Bitcoin goes up and you don't have the opportunity to be among the people who made it, there is nothing to regret about. I have sold some Bitcoin I had because of serious issue, I have sold some to take care of some need and without it, there is no alternative to it and did I regret it, no because I'm not sure if I will be alive to even see the price of Bitcoin today.

What am I saying, at some point things happen that are beyond our control and you are left with no choice than to sell some of your bag. You can only be a holder when you have enough on you, if you are not financially stable, holding Bitcoin is going to be a very big challenge for you and instead of regretting that you missed the bull run, your aim should be how to be financial stable so you can jump on the train next time, there is vast opportunities in the crypto space to make money and not to regret.

First of all, you need to realize that past performances do not always guarantee future result, that being said, the fact the last quarters of the year in the previous cycles were bullish doesn’t in anyway guarantee that it’ll be exactly the same in subsequent cycles, except of course something happens that’ll in one way or the other motivate investors or instilling some kind of a optimism in them thereby compelling them to buy. you don't need to regret over the massive pump of BTC price in the market, because there is no bull run that will not make some people not to regret for selling all their BTC on time, even though the price of BTC hit $200k next 4 years, some people will still regret because there will still be some problems that will come that will make some people to sell their BTC without looking at the price in the market. The most important thing in hodling BTC, make sure you earn profit from your hodling when you sell the BTC because the price of BTC will continue to break into a new ATH in every bull run that happen.

I will still say it here again because I have being saying it in this forum, do everything possible to have other sources of income, because that is the easiest way to hodl your BTC for bull run to get mature in the market before you can sell to earn profits that will give you joy.

I've come to notice that some of those people who invest into Bitcoin for short-term goals are those hoping to get rich through it within a short period, they don't really have a stable source of income to keep accumulating, they mostly wait for a dip then buy and take profits when the coin pumps, it's very wrong and not the concept of Bitcoin. However their are others who got stable income and even enough money to do the lumpsum but then they got no knowledge of investing for long-term and even when they do, they lack discipline and patience. Selling for stomach sake is not bad for me because there are some people who had BTC and yet still gave up a ghost in the name of holding, holding should be that you have external means of income and you are sustaining yourself and that of your family through that means. But you can't keep holding while you hadn't nothing to count as external stream it would definitely affect your overall holdings and performance, so even though you sell it's not bad as I may think because already you saved your life and that of your family.

Yes never too late as there's no perfect entry point for Bitcoin even though buying high might not work for most because  they will still panic sell once there's any dip...
The issue is patience,  without it investors will always come out with loss, for example when BTC hit 95~98k I know some people will FOMO  buy for the 100k speculation news. However, most of this people panic sold in loss when BTC was heading to 90k without making any profit yet loosing. The problem is not investing, if an investor can hold for a long term,no strategy might work for that investor
