I realize this is just a bit of fun, but still, there is a flaw here. I looked at the source code. There's nothing stopping the block finders from giving themselves the full reward every time. Einsteinium has something similar to this, but it's at least a verifiable pseudorandom function of the block height.

I took a second look. There are probably some major problems with this code, although I'm not going to spend a lot of time on it. This looks particularly problematic:

https://github.com/Westerveld/OverlyAttachedCoin/blob/master/src/main.cpp#L1817

This is where confirmations happen, and it's checking the block value against a random function. Anybody got a bunch of "coinbase pays too much" in their logs?

Due to the script for the block rewards not working correctly, we have decided to change the block reward to 1250 OAC with a guaranteed reward when block is found, please update your clients and pools asap,

New windows client is being compiled as we speak

We hear at OverlyAttachedCoin are sincerely sorry for any convenience caused, and hope that this coin can flurish with the new block rewards,

Thank you for mining
