A share in a spiritual successor of a commercially successful low-budget TV show

I'm a fan of one low-budget TV show that was a major hit back in its day. It is, however, no longer popular, but since it deserves way more recognition, I thought that making a similar show would bring it back to public attention (remember how you learnt about Battle Royale because of The Hunger Games?).

Commercially, this idea is justified because of the existence of loyal legacy fanbase of the original show that would love to watch something similar. Artistically, it is justified because the original show didn't get enough attention and should be revived.

Did you check the thread I pointed to? I dont know who either of you are, but you both present similar ideas here, and content-wise, both of your presentations are nearly identical.
