Well shasan, I have given support to the flag but we are here on groundhog day again. I looked at the defaulter's profile and there were some neutral tags indicating high risk because it had already taken years to repay loans of a few hundred dollars. On the other hand you create the flag after one year in which he does not log in the forum.

We will support you, obviously, in front of these scams but if I were you I would rethink some things.

I have to agree with poker player though, seems like there was already a little bit of a red flag since DireWolfM14 left this feedback 2 years ago:

2double0 took nearly three years to pay back a $200 loan even after I stopped charging interest. He made many promises to pay back, only to keep breaking his word. The only reason he paid me back was so he would be accepted in a signature campaign after the campaign manager insisted he clear the red tag I had previously left for him. I recommend you do not lend to this user.

Guess 2double0 didn't change this ways, that can be so annoying! Unfortunately it's fair to assume we don't see this guy ever again since he was last seen here about a year ago. Sorry for this loss!

This is painful though but is there no other way to scrutinized those who come to take loan, to me is very hard to bear the lost maybe giving someone loan and they refused to pay and even refused to have mutual interaction with you or you give even those who aren't in a campaign to be able to pay back your loan?

It looks like you made a mistake. As Poker Player also mentioned, this user already has two neutral feedbacks from Steamtyme and DireWolfM14 for a similar reason. Yet, you approved the loan request. Some people never change. Repaying late was a habit of this user. But he ended up scamming you. This is the 8th scam accusation thread against the loan defaulter this year which sums a big amount of money. I wouldn't dare to run such a service after all these loan defaults.

Flag supported. It would be good for you to be strict with your loan service. People can message like someone should help them but human nature is just wicked. Not everyone but many people are wicked. ABCbits is very correct about this, some scammers may even be targeting you with their good account which they want to put in permanent disuse.

I really don't know how you missed those red flags. At one point you were even against that guy getting a certain loan, and you even gave reasons as to why he did not deserve it, but I guess with time you thought he was a reformed person

Why I am thinking that?:
Before your judgment please read my full post where I will provide several reasons behind my thinking.

3. There is a long gap according to op it is for his health issue. See archive: https://archive.fo/qPdr0#selection-513.0-513.297 But I do not think it is correct I think OP is lying. Why do I think so? Let me describe: Op received negative trust on 2016-09-21 but then game-protect was not a DT so op continued to use bitcointalk forum. But later game-protect became DT so op marked as a scammer and stopped to use bitcointalk forum by this profile. And recently game-protect excluded from DT so O again active and trying to take a loan and then flew away. Where already an open active loan which already told and still trying to take a loan. There might have more reason I will update more once I find them.
4. Op has no staked BTC address or removed those and as a result OP cant proof ownership by signing bitcoin signature.
5. After a long gap, Op started posting and all post to take loan.
6. Op is trying to take a loan by giving the account as collateral or without collateral.

I am having a busy day so could not collect more data. And based on the data I think all users will be inactive or loan defaulters. If I could find any active users or if anyone can find any active users then that would be helpful. Also, I could find out it if I checked before accepting the loan request. The loan default has occurred for my mistake cause I was against the user but forgot that I as the user was on a signature campaign I have considered as a fresh account. All the red flags for lending this user is already there. Most of the neutral feedback om his trust summary is due to delayed loan repayment . Even @DireWolfM14 already put a warning for not lending him due to his attitude towards his loan repayment.

Maybe it’s time to reconsider restricting user with previous bad feedback that turn to neutral approving loans.

Yeah, I really have never understood BTC lending here, even after 10 years - it seems most get burnt except for a few I can think of really who appear to be gone now.  is it really worth the headaches/worries over the extra sats, if you get them, assuming?

Lending BTC is too risky these days, not only these days but in the last 7 years time. BTC price constantly up trending so borrowers are already in pressure. In shasan's case and many others I see they are lending USDT.

Save for a few defaulters, I don't think the business is that bad. I think there are some people who default, but he gives them sometime to respond up to, even over a year before opening a scam accusation

Like someone said, it seems there's someone targeting him with his old high ranking accounts. He needs to be extra careful. Any red flags, however slight they may be, needed to be paid attention to.

It definitely appears to be groundhog day for the OP and for us.

Sadly for the OP, he is still having to create threads in the scam accusations board therefore something does need to change in the vetting process before he parts with his crypto. Some of the loan defaulters he created threads for did have neutral feedback indicating they were not the most trustworthy yet the OP gave them a loan and that is where the OP really should focus his attention.

It's not right for someone to sacrifice a legendary account because of $180. Even when shasan waved the interest and asked him to repay $180 instead of $340. Maybe he suspected that Shasan will still tag him if he repays $180.

You are correct. It is only a scammer with different accounts that will sacrifice a legendary account for $180

I have supported the flag and I also have the opinion that certain user has been trying to scam the lender by shutting down each of the legendary accounts after taking out a big loan. Its a waste to see a Legendary account go like this, because they would be able to make the money back in a month or so with a common signature campaign and continue to run the account freely.

Alas people dont think like that, specially if their intention is to scam in the first place. With that I think shasan should now be careful about possible alts already having taken loans from him.
