I may have never stumbled upon this kind of topic here, but I for sure heard of this in my personal experience. Hobo's are so rampant here in my country and most of them are not sane. They talk nonsense all day, sometimes they answer with a little sense when you ask them. And so, some gamblers started asking questions about lottery combinations, odds, who's team are gonna win or who's fighter is gonna win and everything else about gambling. I'm not sure if those people got a good outcome, but that's just crazy to depend your bet on someone who can't even think with sanity lol.
Yes, people like that clearly have a disturbance in their common sense and way of thinking and that's why we call or categorize them as crazy people, the question is do you believe in anything that crazy people say? I think it should be doubted, I also understand that they could give us directions to choose one of the options that can lead you to victory in gambling but by looking at the fact that crazy people have a disturbance in their way of thinking then I think from there we can conclude that the results of your victory are due to luck that comes at the right time. Actually the scenario is no different from when you gamble using a strategy that ultimately still depends on luck, we must understand this and think wisely, don't let it be because you see other people succeed in winning with the instructions given by crazy people then you try to ask crazy people to get the same results, clearly that's ridiculous.

What business does a sane person have with someone that's insane? The quest to make quick money has made a lot of people lose their sense of reasoning. There's absolutely no way that someone who is mentally unstable to give you any form of good luck whatsoever, these are just superstitions that a lot of have believed in perhaps because of what they heard. Gambling is all about being lucky. I'm from Nigeria and this is something that a lot of people from my country believe in. Well, if they think that's what works for them there's nothing you can say that will change their minds.

I can't recall if I have ever come across this kind of discussion before. Actually, this kind of things happens on lotto game (the Nigerians call it baba ijebu), I have read some stories were an insane mad person gives someone lotto game code and after playing it the person won. And I have also listened to some chats were someone dreamed and sees a lotto code and when he woke up he played the game and the the game entered. But I do not think this kind of things are real because no non of my close person have been successful through it.

It remains all superstition to me, one of the many superstitions surrounding gambling. If a madman can give correct predictions for a game, why has no shaman or prophet been able to give correct score predictions for several games?
Most times the people who tell this kind of story always claim to have heard it from another person; it is rarely a firsthand experience.
Talk of superstition that's just what it is. I have also heard about people indulging in some spiritual sacrifices and rituals in the bid to be able to make correct predictions as they gamble but it has always been futile as I haven't seen any of these persons win any huge life changing sum with their predictions. On the 23rd November 2024 a gambling friend sent me three draws which according to him was given to him by his friend who claimed that a mad man gave it to his sister to play. Long story short, after I argued with him that such things are not real in gambling that am not going to deliberately waste my money betting on the draws, he still went on to bet on the games lo and behold out of the three draws only two played and he lost that bet. I still remember those games, Northampton Town Vs Cambridge united, Sheffield Wednesday Vs Cardiff city, and Manchester city Vs Tottenham.

The fact that he played the game and won is nothing but luck and coincidence, there's also every possibility that he could have lose the bet if such luck was not meant to be. That particular bet that he won, he was not the only person that staked on the game, there could be other gamblers else where who played that game and won it too, does it mean that it was that same mad man that game them the prediction? So, I just believe it was a coincidence and as a matter of fact, I have experienced a situation where a dirty looking mad man approached me in my shop and told me that he gives out prediction but I declined and ask him to leave.

I highly agree with you, the person won the bet only because of his own luck not because of that insane person. I really don't believe in such superstitions, and the ones who believe in such things often end up losing money. There's always chance that if someone follows words of such people then that person might end up losing a lot of money, and that's really possible.

intelligence alone is not a guarantee in gambling, then how can we trust a madman? logically it will not make sense and if your guess is correct from what the madman said for me it is just a coincidence

I was wondering if any member here has had such experience before or they know somebody who has had such as well because to me it looks like something beyond the ordinary, it is unexplainable how an insane man would give odds to somebody to play and in some cases, they are unknown within the premises or environment were they have encounter and the odds turns out to be a good one. Sometimes people tell about being given odds in the dream to play and they do which turns out to a good one for them and all these keeps making me curious about these scenarios if it is ordinary or not, coupled with the superstitious believe and lots of other things they say. I rarely hear of opportunities like this because crazy people are more difficult to understand just to listen to. But almost every day I hear people asking about dreams and usually they will conclude the dream before buying the lottery. If asked if the dream has anything to do with it then implicitly we never know but there are some people who can win the lottery just because of the dream. Some people who are not involved in it will say superstition but for those who often buy the lottery it seems to be the first reference before buying. To be honest, I have never been that lucky because I have asked about my dreams several times before buying, but the numbers that came out were different from the interpretation of the dreams that people had told me.

This is an old story in my area, because there was someone who got a lottery number from a crazy person and won and that incident made many people follow him but were unlucky. I think it's just a coincidence and things like that or other superstitions if everyone who follows it and wins then no one will want to work to get money and they will follow those things without having to work hard and think about getting money with hard work, and only people who don't have common sense and intelligence follow those things without thinking intelligently that the victory obtained from gambling is just a luck factor.

No one knows if that man is an insider, all we have here are speculations about stuff. I do have my own speculation and that is coincidence. It is possible that the tip that man gave just happen to be a coincident of the actual result if that man is not an insider. There are lots of rumors that I heard about certain people giving tips and the tip tends to be the actual result of the game, and on the other hand there are also incidents where the tip is wrong.
So I guess your friend just got lucky to have the tip coincide with the result of the game.

You have said this about luck, a crazy person who is made an object to ask the number to invite the lottery can happen and win. In the past, when there were still quite a lot of lottery players in my area, there were various ways used to get beautiful numbers that could make them win. One of them is asking crazy people, relating mystical problems and things beyond our reason as normal people.

I don't take it as being superstition, probably I would say they are chances of lucks because such situations occur once awhile and have also witnessed the one of a drunk telling people about a sure predictions odds for a game and everyone that played it as said was amazed by the outcome, so in the aspect of the insane person I think it has 50/50 chances of becoming a reality.

I do not really have any clues if such topic or discussion already exist before and if there is any discussion of such nature before then you can call my attention to it. Although it is something that I feel we should discuss about with we hearing our opinion and experience and how the result was like if we have ever encountered such before.
I have heard many stories and people talking about getting game odds from unknown insane(mad) people and some say they get it from the ones they know and in some cases, the games turns out to be real with lots of testimonies. I personally have a friend who told me same thing too that there was a guy that lives within their street who got odds from an insane man close to a junction when he was about to board a cab. He said his friend was just passing by when the insane man stopped him and told him to check out the odds and he was very confused, furious and a bit angered but he too has heard things of that nature so he controlled himself and collected it, he played it and won a good amount of money. Winning such, he went scouting for the insane man so he could be able to reciprocate the goodwill but he could not see the man and he asked people around there and they told him that they've not seen the man for some days and he was told that the insane man has been there for some days before the occurrence but after their encounter that day he was no where to be found around that area.
Well, though i sure believe in the supernatural, that is that the spiritual realm controls the physical realm that we humans dwell in, but when it comes to matters that has to do with gambling, it's really hard for me to believe most of such stories that fly around about mad people giving sane people game odds to play, which usually turn out to be the right odd... Let me be honest, I've witness one myself, though in this case, it wasn't an insane man that gave the odd, it was a sane person. I had a boss back then I was serving, a man walked into our business premises and handed over to my boss a piece of paper with game odds written on it, and told my boss to use big money to play it and then left immediately.. My boss being confused, threw away the piece of paper and someone else picked it up and then went into a lotto shop and played the numbers written on the paper. By the next day, the story around the neighborhood was that the dude who picked the paper won a huge amount of money and was celebrating it somewhere, my boss was disappointed. The man who gave the game odd later in the day came by and asked my boss if he played the game odds, my boss told him no, that he mistakenly threw the piece of paper away, the man called my boss a big fool and left with anger. Such things does happen, but I've never seen it happen with an insane person in the picture, I've only heard about such in stories. Sometimes, we can not decipher situations of such nature and how to follow it up. In some cases, when such scenario just happens, one would just be confused as to what to do. I believe your boss was a bit confused and sceptical about what the man said because he has no proven records and coupled with the fact that he said your boss should play with a big money which there is no guarantee it would win or not. I bet you if it were to be an insane man that gave your boss that paper, your boss would have given it a try reasons being this myth that insane people are good at doing such and maybe he could have won it just like the other man who picked up the paper were your boss threw it to. We just can not tell when any of such situations would occur and how mentality prepared one is to be able to face such. This is the reason why we are advised to gamble for fun and with what we can afford to loose because gambling is very risky and nothing is guaranteed. It is either you win or you lose.

Well said, and when luck is upon us, we'll win unlike the situation. At such an instance, not everyone will be considering his words, and most of them will scold or not consider him, which is the reality. Giving a try upon his suggestion is the luck, and the one who follows it experiences the coincidence, whereas the people who consider the suggestion a waste will realise that they're meant to be lucky but missed it for some reason.

Normally insane people are always spiritual. that's why you see that whenever an insane person give you odds to play the possibility of the game to play is always 100% why because they are not with their right senses. and even though they are working in spirit, Like wise in the dream too sometimes they would give you odds in dream but you wouldn't understand. I could remember a time that they gave me odds in the dream I couldn't utilize it very well due to the fact that I don't really understand it.

Several gamblers believe in this phenomenon, and that's because from where I'm from, lots of gamblers has actually won huge amount just by playing games predicted by a mentally insane person. I understand if several persons call it luck or just a random coincidence but it has been repeatedly producing the same results which is a won ticket. Well there is a believe that mental insanity is caused by torment from demons and those demons do the predictions of those games ( funny right) but as naive as it may sound lots of gamblers believe this, even to the extent of bribing some insane dude walking of street for predictions

This is just entire coincidence at the end of the day. If someone was able to consistently hit those wins from a tip from a somewhat sketchy individual, it's just that luck aligns with them on those days and it will soon run out. I wouldn't blindly believe on someone who doesn't even know who they are anymore, or what they are doing presently in giving me advice that involves money.
You can take that belief somewhere else, or perhaps apply it to yourself and see how far you can go with the predictions they are providing you, but I'm good, no thank you.

Do you even think things like this are possible? Don’t you think it’s just a superstition? I haven’t experienced something like this before, and I don’t even think I can go close to a mad person because I know they can do anything, and I will be the one to be blamed. It’s surprising to me, because I don’t know if the person will be having a discussion with the mad person about gambling, and odds will be given to the gambler by the mad man? Or will the gambler just stand, and the mad person will call the gambler and give him odds? It’s surprising to me, because someone in his right senses won’t even go close to a mad person, and I don’t think a mad person will call anyone, and we will go close to them, because we know they can harm us.

I am sure with a bit of research we can find many myths around out of the ordinary situations, and even with no actual facts these myths tend to get popular, this is one of them.

I understand how this how works;it's funny though too.I still seek it as beneficial too, considering the point that you gave earlier. There could still be a little bit of sense around such awkward recommendations.I feel like there's a way this thing works and everyone who wishes to operate in it, should think outside the box.

I have never heard of such reports, so this comes as a great surprise to me. I think this may be a delusion and superstition of such people where they begin to believe in meaningful connections between seemingly unrelated events, it even seems to be something "prophetic" in the way you said, where the odds and accuracy of the results received lead people to have mystical interpretations and search for non-existent meaning to it. But let's believe that this is true and explore a rational explanation that these strangers are individuals with exceptional abilities to predict outcomes or with access to privileged information... they may be psychics, statisticians or even insiders with inside knowledge of fixed outcomes. But still, why would they approach a total stranger on the street to reveal this knowledge and then disappear?
