Alright, let me share a little crypto mishap I had recently. So, I was chilling, scrolling through some forums, and saw this guy flexing about how he bagged free tokens from some random event. I thought, ‘Pfft, probably a scam.’ Fast forward a week, I check the charts, and this dude’s ‘free’ bag is worth more than my entire portfolio.

Cue the regret.

Now, whenever I see an event dropping $MAJOR or other tokens, I’m not even questioning it, I’m in. Lesson learned: don’t sleep on free crypto. Anybody else been burned by their own skepticism?

I faded plenty of these airdrop that are legit ones of course, just because I thought they'd just be a dust reward but man, I'm lying if I say I didn't regret following some of these airdrops Grin.

and yeah I faded on IO, Mantra and so on, but guess what, such airdrop is always emerging, there are endless project out there getting invested by VC trying to decentralized holder and increase exposure through these airdrop.
if you happen to fade some of the project and see some people eating good from the reward, just follow one in the future, but I know that following airdrop is usually energy and mentally taxing.

so much exhaustion where only 1 out of 10 project succeed, though in current bullrun market 8 out of 10 project seem to be having a successful airdrop and TGE.

Nothing beats out with free tokens/coins on which you can get it without doing anything but if we do speak about having those tasks and other things then its already called bounty i should say. Making up some engagement will really be that definitely depending on you whether you do the tasks or not. We do know that there are some requirements on which it isnt really that simple to do so specially if its referral based then the ones who do able to make that maximizing points or potential profits are to those who do have that huge network on which they could be able to snip out some referral on which this is always the case.
Also not all will really be having that enough time on checking everything when it comes to launches whether on some free drops or would really be talking about some events which it will really be ending up on having that missed out opportunity for them to have that kind engagement. So if there's some opportunity had come passed through and missed out then find or look for another one and think off that it isnt really the free drops on which this space will really be giving. Somewhat it does really need up some sort of luck because not all the time you will be able to get up some good drops on which majority of them are just trash but if you do able to spot up some good ones then it will really be a nasty easy free money.

I don't know, I always feel like maybe those things aren't worth wasting time on . So I usually pass.
But from now on I'm also never sleeping on free crypto events.

Most of them doesn't worth the time and energy and I must say that your guy or friend is lucky to have that best opportunity to have bagged it up, most of the cryptocurrency drop ends up not having the quality of having to put their time on them. For instance there was a time people were doing Hamster airdrop were they had to engaged in playing some games or whatever they case maybe, but due to how they saw it they thought it's a live time changing opportunity and therefore most people abandoned their work thinking that airdrop would be more explosive but guess what? It doesn't ends they way they wanted. So airdrops aren't worth giving that attention instead it's better to just follow up little by little without attaching much values to it.

Yeah, I see your point. Airdrops can be hit or miss sometimes it’s just dust, and other times people walk away with serious gains. Lately, with the market heating up, it does seem like more projects are actually delivering after their airdrops and TGE.

I guess it’s all about finding the balance. Some events now guarantee rewards, which takes a bit of the guesswork out. It’s still exhausting at times, but the upside makes it tempting to keep an eye on the next big opportunity.

Now, whenever I see an event dropping $MAJOR or other tokens, I’m not even questioning it, I’m in. Lesson learned: don’t sleep on free crypto. Anybody else been burned by their own skepticism?

Yeah, I get it some airdrops really feel like a waste of time, especially when they don’t deliver. But honestly, I think it’s about perspective. Not every airdrop will change your life, but the ones that hit? They can make up for all the misses.

The key is not to overcommit. Just follow the ones that look promising without putting too much weight on them. It’s like a little side hustle if it works out, great; if not, no big loss. I’ve seen people bag insane rewards by just casually keeping up with the right ones.

Not only time but they can be a waste of money too, as some airdrops now requires a capital. For me, I only stick on the free ones, so if in case they didn't go well, it won't be really hard for me to move on. There are lots of airdrops, so yeah, that it will be impossible if all of them are profitable. Even on a regular crypto project, there are also scams. Airdrops seem like a bonus for supporting a project, so even if we found a legit and paying one, the pay can still be small and may not be enough to compensate to the past efforts that we did on other airdrops. But as you said, it is about perspective. If we will just stay positive, we won't be affected by it Wink.
