Hi All,

Most of of have been blown away about the group collaboration and execution it took to get that 15 year anniversary painting completed and done!  Cool

Absolutely fantastic work by so many people.
Link to Artwork thread.. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5501779.0

So Sportsbet.io bought 10 prints!! we had too.. boss nearly wanted 20..  Grin

And in true sportsbet.io style, we wanted to reward the Artist.

So I met with 1Dq and a couple of other bitcointalk members this weekend...

We had some beers, a wine, some lovely food and so much chat about the love of cryptocurrency, working together and of course... being part of this Bitcointalk Forum

Ill post a couple of photos from the weekend here, and many thanks for the catch up lads! I loved it!!
(especially as a non artistic guy at all.. it was eye opening!)

Many thanks and speak soon all!

regards,

Steve + new friends.

Hey fellas,

was great to touch base with Steve, and meet the guy behind that fantastic piece of art as well.

1Dq was a really good host, thanks for a fun and quite a bit different evening. Usually we bet, drink beer and watch sports, this time we actually painted Grin
We also drank a bit, of course. Who'd have the courage to paint otherwise?

This is 1Dq's cryptofrka robot, also done in minutes.

Our drawings of him are masterpieces as well - they will probably be shared in a bit.

So good to see all this come together, worthy of the beers, worth of the people involved. The drawings are a spitting image of how I would have imagined Steve and cryptofrka. Very apt, 1dq. Onward, upward, forward, BTT and crypto!

Next year guys take a chance to get in Milano, I am going to organize another meeting to show some crypto collectibles Wink

I see Catania was a success (I visited once, if only it had been for your exhibit). Not many events I do as a very casual collector, but really pleased to see this success. Milano maybe?

Hi Mate,

Mainly due to the fact Sportsbet.io was included onto the painting, and also paid for this venture.. the main thread is here.

I also posted on the 2 different painiting links in collectables threads aswell.. so plenty of coverage.

If anyone wants to onlink this thread to any other areas please do, lets see if we can sell all 100 of these prints and lookforward to what 20 years looks like!!

best regards,

Steve

Heya all!

This was a such a nice experience.

We come from pretty different backgrounds, but it made debates that much more exciting and a big learning opportunity.

The world of art mingled with the world of sports and gambling and I found there's plenty to discover.

Hopefully in the form of future collaboration so stay tuned folks...

Drawing (after a drink or three) like that was also a blast and would definitely repeat the experience.

You guys did a very good job too!  Cool

Exactly.

This meetup (and this thread) links two sections of the huge Bitcoin Forum Metaverse.

I got excited by everything going on in different parts of this board as I was working on the artwork, and now I got to learn some new specific things in detail.

I'll be looking to open new pathways between different sections of BTCtalk in the future and invite you all to join me.

Cheers.

You never know what to expect at Beers with Steve, but it is always interesting experience for all of us.

I am thinking of converting typeface you made for your artwork to actual digital font files that can be used in any computers or online.
That would be an interesting project to realize if you are interested in sharing, but maybe when I have more free time and when I am not busy like octopus. Wink

Don't tell me you're thinking about following the Expressionism artistic style. At the time it was very common to only draw after many hours in the pub.  Roll Eyes

It would be funny to see the metaverse on the forum, in Expressionist style. (Note, this is not a challenge.)

It was one of my early ideas years ago to paint Bitcoin themed in abstract form.

I might still do it one day, as the blockchain concept transcripts in interesting ways into minimalist visuals.

I'm just not really sure, who except me and maybe two other people would be interested in that haha.

If you made abstract (Kandisky style) or Art Nouveau style, you had one more fan.

I really like these artistic movements.  Cool

If I do come (most likely not, real life is unforgiving as a mistress) the only thing I can share from my side is some copies of art (already sold) that I helped ad on the forum. I look forward to seeing outcomes nevertheless.

Bitcoin art is alive, thanks to all the people like you. Now I wonder if anyone has any other medium of art (besides painting/drawings) ever shared at these meetings. I would be quite keen to discover audio... perhaps even, poetry? Haha.
