What are the benefits of buying old accounts?

Do not be offended but I see no benefits if buying an old account unless it is funded. If it is funded, it can be a scam but if it is not funded like yours, I do not think it is a scam but I still see no reason of buying such account.

Honestly, not much other than the fact that the username is easy to share and remember.
