Looking for help from moderator

I have something very private to discuss with a moderator if one could reach out. This is not my original account. My original one has a post I made in 2013 which stupidly doxxed myself and I've been receiving threatening calls. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Besides that, What help are you expecting from a moderator regarding this matter?

You can reach out admin via PM if you want but I'd say they can't give you any help other than banning the user for sending threatening messages if you received via forum PM.

Ill reach out to Cyrus. I have attempted to reach out to moderators for the last few years and never receive a response. I need a post deleted on an account that someone hacked and I have no access to. The account is dead, but I have no proof it is mine besides a relation to the username and another social media site that has that same username (and history).

How about the email address which you used to register the account. Do you still have access to it? If yes, then there's a chance that you can recover that account

Unfortunately he changed the account email. I don't really care much about accessing the account, there's a single post I would just like deleted as it contains my personal information. The account has been dead for years as the person who hacked it started scamming people.

Even if a moderator deletes your post I suspect it will remain in the archives of services like ninjastic.space and loyce.club. You can check for yourself if your post is in these archives or you can send me a link to your post.

@cantstopthebeat, simply go to that post and use the "report to moderator" option, and as a reference you can put a link from this topic for the purpose of explanation. I think that's the best way to delete that post - although I don't understand why you haven't changed your number by now - or why you think those calling you will stop if that post is deleted?

That is exactly the first thought I had after reading the post. If someone already has the information available in that post, deleting it wouldn't stop them from using it. The only thing it can prevent is letting others gain access to the information.

There is probably no other way for OP to get rid of those calls other than changing his number or any other medium/platform where he receives the calls. It's been more than 11 years now since OP said he made that post in 2013, and I wonder why someone would threaten a random person over the internet after getting their information from somewhere that was posted so long ago. It's a strange world. 

@OP, why are you not changing your number if you are receiving the calls on your phone? Is it impossible to let everyone with that number know you are changing it? This will get rid of the issue.

You are right there, however, if that post contains some personal information that should not otherwise be published publicly - perhaps one of the admins/moderators would consider at least editing the post and deleting that information.

It's strange to leave your number in a public forum post, but I'm not surprised that people are still calling him because even though we don't know what exactly he wrote in the post, it's possible they're assuming he wrote something that suggests he has a large amount of BTC or something similar. Of course, that doesn't mean there aren't enough weirdos in the world who don't need any reason to bully other people.

There is no need to panic or worry about getting across to the moderator for help, once you have a genuine reason for doing that, just send him a PM and make some proofs to why you're contacting him, it could be any of them you see active online, you can as well message the admin if you think its something that needed more attention to, but don't let anyone threatens you by what they send, as long as you're not owing them what belongs to them in your possession.

@cantstopthebeat the link from Rizzrack is the way to go here as he is one of dudes from the Account Recovery Team.
Fingers crossed you can getting this thing sorted as personal informations should be deleted if made back in the days and accidentally.

If the supposed threatening things coming from here from the Forum you can post also the Usernames where you getting that.

Posting personal information of others outside the "investigations" board is against the rules and such posts should be deleted by moderators, but it's not against the rules if you post your own personal information.

Personal information is defined as anything which links a user's online identity (username, email, etc.) to their meatspace identity, excluding links that the person himself has posted. It is not allowed to post somebody's personal information in any other public place, including in signatures.

I think from the look of thing, ops won't be getting responds from any moderator because such case is an individual personal issue and only he can deal with it, making a post way back in 2013 that become a threat to him according to ops make the issue a personal things most expecially now that he said he gave being receiving life threatening calls that means he gave out a lot of information about his real life and the case is out of this forum, so for me, seeking help from forum moderators will be a useless approach and the best thing for him right now is to handle thing's based on individual capacity and should not involve moderators in personal business like this.

And still on still ops can stop hiding under a newbie account and make this request from his original account, that way he can easily get the needed help if his troubles eminated from this forum, because posting with his original account other than this alt will help prive the legitimacy of this claims, and also building the confidence and connection need to sort out the issue if he feels forum members are involved in the whole thing.

This is same as someone claiming to be Satoshi and making a post asking the admin to delete a certain post without verifying that the account "Satoshi" indeed belongs to the person.

Deleting your email or phone number from the forum will not remove your contact information from those who already have it. The best thing you can do right now is change your email address, phone number, and location, or even relocate to another country.

As I understand it, the OP's data was used by another person on some social network, and there may have been a reference to the OP's post from this forum. The fraud was carried out under his nickname and name.

One of those cases is when our ignorance, naivety and trust in people play against us. Unfortunately, the Internet is becoming a weapon these days, and not what we initially accepted as a means of global communication, showing everyone our personal lives.

His original account was hacked and the OP has no access to it. Read the thread more carefully, the OP wrote about it above.
