Hashboards found - 3 w/ braiins - 2 w/ vnish - 2 w/ bitmain

Using default settings with all firmwares and vnish profile 2800W 74TH

vnish shows

chain 2 Failed to detect ASIC chips

bitmain official shows 2 hashboard
braiins shows all 3 working.

What could be the cause? voltgage header labels or somthing else?

if it is your s17+ it could be a short that comes and goes.

Yes it is possible. But if original does not report hashboard you can be sure that it is not in good order. It might work . Or sometimes be seen after you shake with miner but I would replace it anyway.

It is quite old stuff. But just i saw many of ASIC miners on repairs due to brainOS and other custom FW. So please do not overdue it with overclocking.

There are lots of reasons why it detects only 2 hashboards on stock firmware while braiins detect all of the hashboard.

Since the logs on the stock firmware say "chain 2 Failed to detect ASIC chips" there's a possibility that some chips might be overheating, which is why it fails to detect the chips.
If you are using Braiins OS, it can disable the power or lower the power of those chips just to bypass the chip overheating issue.
