Most top crypto exchanges such as Binance, bybit etc pulled out of Canada due to the strict regulations in that jurisdiction so if you are going to look for an exchange, then it might as well be one of the regulated exchanges such as Coinbase, Kraken...

You are going to have some work to do, such as reading the terms before you sign up, checking the fees and making comparisons with other exchanges. The information is freely available online if you look around.

In addition, try to also ask and/or lookup threads in r/BitcoinCA -- pretty active subreddit for bitcoiners in Canada.

I remember seeing local exchanges in the sub as well, which us outside Canada may not be familiar about. I hope you're not from Ontario though as I heard it's stricter there and could further limit your choices.

Are you sure you don't mean staking? Even outside of Canada, centralized services offering liquidity pool/farming are rare. Most of them provide a staking/saving program for your alts. An interest from 5-10% is quite common for this. I think I remember Coinsquare provided that option. A lot of people seem to hate them though, terrible service, expensive fees, and all that. Do your own research.

Just pick up from this topic as it could be too hard for you to make right choice, let it come from a reputable person. There are lot of exchange on the search engine which if you search you would get redirected to a fake site that looks as the same, but immediately you make deposit to trade your account will start login you out.

Since years I have been using Kraken and never had a single issue so I would recommend using them. Fees are quite low, a lot of trading options, good support. There are a lot of exchanges out there so pick a reputable one that has been online for years.

I have seen that most of the exchanges are banned from Canada. So if you want to use an exchange from this banned country, you first need to check all the rules and regulations of the exchange to see if it is allowed to operate in Canada from your country. If it is allowed in Canada from your country, you can register there. I would recommend you Binance, Bybit, Kucoin, all these popular exchanges but probably all these popular exchanges are not allowed in Canada. But you can try Coinbase, Kraken. But of course, first you need to check very carefully if it is allowed to operate from your country.
