But to answer your question OP, its likely a mix of both.  Some investors might see it as a positive sign for the long-term adoption of cryptocurrencies, especially if the new administration is more crypto-friendly.

Bitcoin trading volume goes up and down and it has not yet increased to a new level. We just broke a significant resistance which meant increased volume as traders become more active at times like this. Other than that, it is not enough to speculate about and definitely nothing related to any elections.

Electoral promises are usually promises that do not lead to long -term pumping and investors do not move according to them, but they are paid at the price up. After January 14, and the implementation of these promises will be the real test.
Therefore, yes, the result of the elections has positively affected the market morale, but the real influence will be after the formulation of these promises to laws.

As you can see the results of Trump win on the previous US election, the price of BTC coincides with the bullish result of it jumping to 100k and this is a sign that Trump Management will be pro crypto. Of course there should be limitations on this as it could be a disaster if not mandated properly. But I believe it will be fine as Trump will roll out as much as support to the crypto community.

Investor confidence has increased since Trump's seriousness about Bitcoin. You may have read the article about Saylor's statement that America should ditch gold as a reserve and use Bitcoin as their reserve.
During the election process, one of Trump's campaign promises began to show that he was serious by naming the name of the SEC chairman.

It is not speculation, but just about the increase in confidence from many investors when Donald Trump has a very good desire to create a national reserve in the form of Bitcoin and also encourage new project creators in the crypto realm so that he gets more trust from investors and also other businessmen to improve the economic foundation in a better direction. So the election result does not actually affect crypto, it is just Donald Trump's words that have influenced many people who already believe in crypto so that Trump can really be relied on to provide smoothness for crypto projects and also for Bitcoin.

One thing to consider is that the Bitcoin halving is inline on the same year as the US elections. I think that's the big factor that we have to consider why it looks like the US election is moving the market into bull run but it's not that at all. Bitcoin halving is setting the foundation for every bull run once it's done.

I agree with your opinion here. I think elections has a way of effecting the crypto markets as it is always seen in the general US elections. From what happened the last general elections, one could say that investors are also moved by the outcome of the election results to decide if to invest immediately or not. I could remember vividly that during the last elections, the price of bitcoin began to pump and it pumped with full speed after Trumps victory which means that the elections has its own way of affecting the crypto market as seen in the last election and past elections but however, after the inaugurations come January, the implementation of crypto policies would determine how far investors would come in and  the speed at which the price would pump again so far reasons being that if the government is a 100% crypto friendly.

Yes, actually a lot of the investors have gotten more confidence since the time the American election was announced that Donald Trump has won the election; that’s exactly the time the Bitcoin began a massive journey that encourages even those that didn’t have any interest to invest in Bitcoin to stay. Indeed, Trump made a promise, and indeed he fulfilled it, because during his time, Bitcoin was able to hit $100k.

And I hope that these election results can continue to affect the Bitcoin market by increasing, because this early 2025 bull run might surprise us, or at the middle of the years, and I don’t think the Bitcoins can crash below $90k anymore; with this journey, it begins rather than it can continue to pump up.

Bitcoin, the world's largest cryptocurrency, has increased by 50 percent so far in the wake of the US election, but that does not mean that this election alone is the main reason for the growth of this crypto. If analysts study different situations in the world, it can be assumed that Bitcoin has a history of exceeding $100k. We have seen Bitcoin's growth trajectory as a result of people's commitment to this crypto and the confidence in investing in it freely. Investors are coming to it. Bitcoin is expected to exceed about $200k in 2025 and about $300k in 2026. Last Monday, we saw Bitcoin exceed about $106k for some time. Although it later fell to $105k in Asian trading.

The election have passed, but it's impact is not forgotten because the price of bitcoin keeps going up and with this latest development of our bitcoin and election seems to be connected is what is surprising most people because What politicians know how to do best is to contain bitcoin, so it is something to be surprised about because of our the suddenly interest and investing into bitcoin aside the El Salvador president Donald Trump should be another person making some dangerous decisions in another to pay back what bitcoin have done for him during his election. A lot of people are actually meant different posts about all the election of the United States have affected the price of bitcoin and essence maybe everyone is trying to share your own view about what they think in relation with the election.

Let me look away from the thread caption since you at least made better clarification onn the thread already and I can guess you are talking about the impact of the just concluded US election on bitcoin and other assets, well that is very important to discuss at this moment becasit seems that only bitcoin is gaining alot of market volumes and demands and price I crease other coins in the cryptocurrency space are not reacting to this election or market hypes like bitcoin, while most other altcoins are in red bitcoin is creating multiple all time highs within a short period of time interval.

How does elections have to connect with cryptocurrencies? It’s not making a lot of meaning to me. Should we look at it from the perspective as to, how credible elections can affect the lives of indigenous people, then there would be something there but, cryptos,,, it’s always been independent of the several electoral processes that takes place in our world.
I get it that the recent US pools might have sent some numbers flying in the charts due to the stands of president Trump but, it just it and nothing much to take from it. We where expecting a bullrun anyway and it just kicked in there after, not fully though.

Both are currently happening. Most investors have confidence that the new president-elect will bring positive changes to the crypto market, which we can all see from the reaction from the day of the election to date.
 
It’s also speculation because it’s just promises of a politician until everything that’s being promised has been accomplished. I consider every reaction to just be speculation; nothing is certain, and some investors are making their decisions right now based on that speculation.

I think it's because the election will cause an exposure to people especially those who didn't know about bitcoin and also the changes that the election winner will make like changing the head of sec for example. For those who already know about bitcoin is that they are hoping that the newly elected president will bring good news to investors and those who are planning to invest. I understand your point that it's all a promise until he will complete what he said during the election campaign but it will be different if he really did it as promised.

Overall we have seen more than 30% increase in price after Trump emerged as winner of the just concluded US election. I think is just a mere proof that Trumps administration will be crypto friendly. I think Trump himself should be an investor and a lover of cryptocurrency and his win must have prompted some massive investment that turned out into the upsurge that Bitcoin recorded and so far there is no sign of major retracement which might mean more pumps in coming days
