This may be the biggest news of all for the Bitcoin market. US President Donald Trump has adopted Bitcoin because before Donald Trump won the election, the price of Bitcoin started to increase at a rocket speed and still the price of Bitcoin continues to increase. The Bitcoin Reserve Plan that he has now confirmed is positive for the Bitcoin market and will be bullish for Bitcoin.  Trump told CNBC in an interview that they are going to do great things with crypto because they don't want China or anyone else. Maybe that's why they confirmed the Bitcoin reserve plan.

Everyone want to take their chance in Bitcoin and even the United States is not exceptional to that, as there have been warning of dollar collapse in the future, the government will definitely look into alternatives and Bitcoin at this point is the smartest alternative we can point to at this moment, we have to figure out what the extent of Bitcoin adoptions by the coming government and how he intend to approach a decetlntalised system with centralized government.

What I noticed is that, the president elect is more kind in the area of investment and reserves using Bitcoin and also building infrastructure for Bitcoin related activities such as mining thinking having the biggest mining ring in the US could influence how the country interfere with Bitcoin transactions and value even though this last point is impossible using (POW).

according to the BIS (bank of international settlements) all central banks can only buy 2% of their fiat reserves in instable coins like bitcoin and when the fiat value of such represents 5% of fiat reserves they have to sell coins to draw it down below the 5% risk threshold, but cant buy in more unless the amount is below 2% again
this international reserves regulation is about all central banks having to disclose their crypto holdings from january 2025

however institutions can have their own separate reserves away from the international trade reserves. which trumps financial team suggest eventually hoarding 1m btc or 5% of all bitcoin.. however im going to presume they wont own 1m btc(5% of btc) but instead stick to the international central bank regulations of 5% of their fiat reserves even outside of the international settlement market

So much great bullish news for bitcoin:

1. Blackrock just released official report recommending large investors have 1 to 2% allocation of bitcoin
2. Microstrategy to be listed on the NASDAQ 100 this month, triggering massive new bitcoin purchases from ETFs and other funds.
3. FASB accounting rules changed to favor bitcoin starting next month.
4. Trump confirms bitcoin as reserve asset.
5. Several other countries considering adopting bitcoin as national asset.

All this announced within days after Microsoft voted NO to bitcoin investment, which could go down as one of the dumbest decisions in corporate history.

Having a national BTC reserve - good idea depending on how it is built (financed).

A government buying BTC would in the whole, be a terrible idea.
Trumps plan of building it using crypto seized from criminals - great idea! (kills me to say that about anything Trumpolini comes up with ) Certainly makes more sense then the usual policy of mandated 'timely' Public sales of seized assets like was done with Silk Road proceeds and the German state of Saxony recently caught so much flack for doing with seized crypto assets.

Bullish news. It is great to see that Donald Trump is still talking about crypt because I thought it was just a means to gain support for the elections. This news will propel more states/nations to start reviewing their crypto laws since the US wants to be more friendly. I am hoping to see the US do something great with crypto.

Potentially said accumulation upto 200,000 bitcoins for the next five years as total of one million bitcoins(a great initiatives bytheway) but seven minutes of video ain't spoken single word of bitcoin seems only competition that he wanted US should come befor china, russia and other countries interms of adaptability.

Successful business comes with your ability to outsmart or beat competitors. Trump has always mixed economics with politics, so he wants the US to be first in the Bitcoin accumulation race.

If you were to tell people 4 years ago that all this stuff was going to happen nobody would believe it! The Trump effect is real & its coming to a country near you! Bitcoin is going to the freaking moon. Before we know it they will literally find a way to mine bitocin on the  moon or something lol. Maybe we will even live to see Bitcoin being mined on Mars? Wild stuff to think about! Definitely in the realm of possibilities!

Let's not get ahead of ourselves, as it is an intention so far, but it is positive no matter what, what seems worrying is that many put their faith in Bitcoin's growth in a politician, not just Trump, anyone, trust in Bitcoin always has to be in the community.

i do not think this is the biggest news we have been talking about this for months even before trump won the election of course i know a confirmation is huge but then again nothing is yet set to stone until trump gets inaugurated and he actually makes changes to how the us government holds and sees bitcoin or crypto in general

what would be huge news to me is if a country that is previously against crypto starts buying it like china or russia it would seem like bitcoin would be used by these big countries not only for their economical gain but also for political reasons

Russia never ban Bitcoin, AFAIK their banks are restrict against funds related to Bitcoin. Until now, China is still not make any movement, while HongKong have legalize Bitcoin and launch it's ETF version.

Bitcoin is decentralize in terms of the network, but if someone own most of the coins, what's the point to have decentralized network when only few people able to spend it.

2025 is very promising year that can be similar to 2017 year with two first Bitcoin Futures ETFs.

CBOE Futures ETF.

It's a year with Bitcoin fork, technically big event for Bitcoin upgrade but in the end of 2017, two Bitcoin Futures ETFs boosted Bitcoin to ATH.

In 2024, we have Bitcoin Spot ETF approvals in January, very early, even before a Bitcoin halving in April, that helped Bitcoin to make new ATH before the halving. It's very unexpected with Trump President Elect, and his adminstration with plan to make Bitcoin Treasury for the USA. It's very massive news for Bitcoin if Trump adminstration turn it to execution successfully.

It is not about big capital from the USA government, but it will potentially trigger other countries, more institutional investors participating in Bitcoin market. In other words, it will trigger massive new capital inflow for Bitcoin market.

Definitely, there's always a price to pay for "civilization". That should be one of it for Bitcoin. Government comes into something and uses it to its advantage. That which was the original purpose of creating Bitcoin by Satoshi will somehow be defeated. At the moment, no one wants to care. All we want is to see price increase. Perhaps, later we talk about the effect of what the US and other governments want to do. I guess that's the attitude now.

It is also clear from Trump's speech hints that a cold war over Bitcoin will start between the governments of the United States, Russia and China, if these big countries start a cold war over Bitcoin I don't think this will be in the best interest of the Bitcoin community in the long term.

I am glad Donald got elected again. Imagine how disastrous it would be if it was Kabala. The US is again leading the world like they used to thanks to Donald J Trump. When they add bitcoin to their national reserves, the other countries will have to follow their lead or else they’ll left behind the race. This is the worst case scenario. US Government milking Bitcoin holders through manipulation which they can since Bitcoin price is highly dependent on what’s Trump stand on Bitcoin.

There are always pros and cons to anything governments do. Governments are either going to embrace bitcoin or shun it. I would rather they embrace it.
Better to have nuclear powers like US, China and Russia competing to accumulate bitcoin than engaging in World War 3 with each other.

The fiat money system inevitably leads to war. Bitcoin can break that cycle.
