Truth is a very essential value that is needed to strive in our society. Although we might see people in the society derailing or not wanting to speak the truth, stand up for the truth and practicing lies , we see that truth will still stand out no matter how people might try to hide it.
Most people in the society  in all areas of work of life still care about the truth and they speak and stand for the truth no matter what it cost them.

We try as much as possible to do what's right and always have an alternative when things doesn't go as plan with primary targets. The truth will set you free but currently, people prefer to lie other than settling for the truth. People actually believes and choose lies over truth. There are countless numbers of corrupt men in our society, they're only focus on themselves and keen on embezzling all the necessary funds they could lay their hands on, no atom of integrity is filled in them. Truth is very important in vital scenarios, it builds trust and portrays authenticity. The masses don't care about the truth following the unprocessed form it will turn out to be.

Saying the truth pays because of how simple it is to repeat same words of confidence, unlike lies that demands fresh deceptions to cover up for what was previously said. Regrettably, the society seem to be displeased with the truth, as they long to hear cooked up stories that'll suit their interest. Whoever says the truth isn't loved by lots of people whose life rely on con and devious activities.

So clearly, we still want to hear the truth but when told, we are grieved about it with all sorts of casting stones while embracing the lies on sugarcoated rhythms.

when everyone is on social media, everything has become so much easier to fabricate so now everyone is lying no one wants to tell the truth anymore in fear of looking dumb or just revealing too much of themselves

we people are greedy and often selfish and would want to do anything even lie just to get ahead of people

I think we are in the world whereby people worship money because they see money as everything. Things have really change before now you can hardly see people who are interested in money over saying the truth,  this is what corruption have turned people into that they can't stand for the truth because of what they will gain in doing the wrong things. Corruption is turning the society into something else , thst people will be so comfortable to lie to gain selfishly.

There are loads of truths in the Bible. Few people understand more than just a few of them.

The important ones are:
1. God created everything;
2. Jesus is God's Son, and took the punishment that God was required to do to all people.
3. Because Jesus did this, God has given Him authority over everything in this universe.
4. Everyone who believes that Jesus is here to save him, will be saved for eternal life.

There is still reputation left for those that tells the truth. But the reasoning of people nowadays is this,

"if the government lies, why we would care?"

That's pretty how it is going for the most of the people in the society and they don't care about the truth at all. The media is being manipulated easily and they've got money on their mouths so, the lies they tell to the society doesn't really matter anymore as no one cares except for family and relationships.

People now dare to call truth as false and lie as truth because of money. They lost their morality to money. They give up the honesty that exists in people due to the greed for money and power. Currently, this trend is not limited to just one institution or country but is behaving the same way all over the world. But people should move away from telling lies. Although they benefit temporarily from these lies, they do not get happiness spiritually.

It is true that the current political situation has reached such a stage that they use lies for power in a way that forces people to believe. Those whom people trust, especially the media, also betray people. However, here, even if there is a personal benefit, one can never be happy in his life. Moreover, there is no peace and order in society due to lies.

Seek the Creator. Seek Him through Jesus Christ, the only authority in this universe. You can find all about Him in the New Testament of the Bible... and His history in the Old Testament.

We should be less concerned about what others are doing, instead we should focus more on what we personally desire to do in helping each everyone of us living in the society, when we have a mentality of being responsible, we will know when to take charge of things that are expected of us without waiting till we are told to do so, this is the truth we all should live by, we should not constitutes the nuisance going on by other people, instead we should be a nation builder by being truthful to our own personal self first.

3 newborn babies lives are at risk, to save them you have to be interviewed on the local news station where you must tell a lie to all 3million viewers

If you think this lie is OK... then before you call other people liars you might want to first seek their circumstance and motivations...

Yes, in order to save the lives of the three newborn babies I would lie to the audience. And once the babies were safe and sound I would come back to that same audience to tell I lied before, so the lives of the babies could be saved.

The circumstances, contexts and motivations are important, and nowadays they are mainly moved by power, money and influence at all costs, in most cases. That is what the political scenario, daily social interactions and professional relationships show us nowadays.

And that just evidences Truth isn't important in the world right now. As consequence, the world is being led to chaos and destruction, so from the scrumbles and ruins a new mindset can flourish, focused on the lost principles and values which are intrinsically attached to the Truth.

Yes, people still care about the truth in this society which is what brought some people to were they are today, if you remove truth from some people in this society, it will be difficult for them to cope in this society because that is the engine that is making them function in this society.

I understand what you mean, if people still care about truth, there are some society they don't care  about truth because if you say the truth, those who are against the truth will gather up against you in the future to make sure they spoil your career that will disqualify you from so many things in the society. Most of the society that developed today, you will notice that they stand by truth that made them to develop the society other societies wish to become like.

Does anyone know where to find truth?

Thats a very good question - it is becoming more and more difficult to find the
truth. It gets really tedious trying to check what is real and what is fake.

Social media is full of actors feeding us lies and truth and there are equal amounts
of both. I'm finding myself zoning out more and more because I actually dont want
to spend my time fact checking.

I like to zone out by reading modern fantasy as opposed to ancient fantasy about
religion and such.
