And CZ almost got it right, he predicted this like 4 years ago that once Bitcoin goes up at $100k'ish we will see it crashes to $85k.
So it's almost the same as what we are seeing right now moving forward.

It's explainable that if Bitcoin reaches to $100,000 or higher and a correction starts from $100,000, it's easily to predict where it will be corrected too.

He won't tweet it, because he can not time the market and when a price will be reached.

CZ gave the new update regarding his old tweet, and he's tweeting BTC to make as many ATH as BTC can. I remember many mentioned CZ's old tweet when the dump was happening, and it creates fear in the market.

I thought his old tweet was no longer viable anymore.

i would honestly hope that this happens because while most would be panicking and spreading fud and baseless claims like bitcoin is going to crash to 0 and how this will be the end of bitcoin i would be taking this opportunity to buy some more so i can comfortably wait until bitcoin reaches $100k back again and maybe even reach $120k in the next month

if cz really does get it right and bitcoin reaches $85k i will applaud him while standing lol these are the men we should be listening to always two steps ahead of everyone

I think most people already knew that there will be a correction when Bitcoin reaches $100k+. Such correction represent those who would take profits at that price which are actually large in number. Perhaps CZ just estimated the correction to $85k base on experience of percentages like someone already posted. Although I rely more on the Fibonacci ratio which will give a better estimate and my guess would be the 23% or at most 38% retracement points. I don't know if what we had is the actually correction because the rate at which the market recovered was like that of big hands dumping to buy which is same as market manipulation.

I guess it happened a couple of times already. Didn't Bitcoin fall below 70K after creating an ATH of 74K? But if you want exact same situation and the same price, probably you will have to wait a little more until the bull run ends and Bitcoin starts to fall again. For now, a lot of people posting on social media that people should be ready for a big blow because the bull run is going to end. While I believe the full bull run is yet to start. I mean, the alt season did not even start. Alts were accumulating for a while and it all dumped in a single week.

Been long i saw a post about cz on this forum, i know that his 'followers' will talk about this and say 'cz was right', lol, however, a lot of members in this forum have spoken about a correction in price once BTC gets to $100k, and that is the same thing that happened. BTC price is back up again and it is only a matter of time before it crosses $100k again.

Reaching $100K and went back to $85K is really normal, I even think back to $50K is still possible, maybe it will happen in 2026.

But, I agree the medias always exaggerating something or use clickbait in order to attract people to visit their articles.

Only ponzi scheme asset/project that the price always rise and has no risk to own.

This proves nothing to me than manipulation is real in this space, now I fear what the BlackRock and other big holders can do with Bitcoin price in the future, remember, these people are here to make money too.

So far Bitcoin is still looking like its past price history in 2020 December, not much of a different so far, no wonder some guru said it takes two bear market to understand how this market works, so far it is looking so true.

This really works in the media. There will always be someone who will say the phrase: "But I told you about this before!" The difference is how quickly the media will find this prophet and how the dates will coincide with his prediction.

But the difference is that he made this prediction in 2020 and the price of bitcoin had not even crossed $100k at that time. Meanwhile, most people's predictions were made just last month. Not to mention, when Bitcoin crossed the $100k and continued to rise to $107k, hardly anyone thought Bitcoin would correct anymore. If you look at the predictions on the speculation board, everyone is confident that bitcoin will break $110k or $120k, no one believes that the correction of the last 2 days will happen.

It is safe to say that these predictions may or may not come true, and I would not rely on this to praise CZ's predictive ability. What I wonder is who found and shared this tweet first, was it by chance or was it pre-planned?

The correction was almost down to what he predicted, but let's not be quick to judge. Bitcoin dropped down from the $108k+, which was its all-time high, down to $92k+, which is almost 15% off from its all-time high. The market is already showing some recovery signal, but that does not mean that there is no possibility of the price dropping down again. The prediction was close, which is against what many expected. 
 
Some have even predicted that price will drop below $80k if we reach the $100k level before it will start to bounce back again. Let's just see what will become of price before the last day of the year 2024.

How about BNB? maybe he could make some predictions about his own coin. That would probably be more reliable since it’s directly tied to him and Binance.

Bitcoin falling to $50K 2026 is going to be possible only if the BSR policy isn't implemented.
Bitcoin is entering a stage where corrections wouldn't be so exaggerated.

Maybe right now, according to my technical analysis, it looks like it will rise again by 102k$ and then it will correct again gradually. Maybe the correction that happens there will reach 40%, so right now it seems like what is happening in the market is only 15%-17% in terms of its price.

This is if you look closely at the bitcoin price chart on any exchange at the moment. But I could also be wrong if what I say does not happen, and that's fine with me if that happens.

I don't remember he had a tweet like this and there's nothing shown when I tried to search for some information regarding on this matter.

I guess he will encounter an issue if he do that since its like manipulating people to buy his created currency. But I'm not sure if there's really legal implication if he would do that, that's why maybe he always goes with top coins since he could spread any information that he want to release.

But let see further if we could able to see those predictions he posted there.

What do you mean no impact? He’s the founder of Binance, so whatever he says will influence the market, whether positively or negatively. As long as the market is bullish or it’s altcoin season, his words will carry weight and people will listen.

Even though he’s no longer with Binance due to legal issues, people still trust Binance, and by extension, they trust him as well. With that said, his reputation and connection to Binance continue to give him influence in the crypto world.

Looks bullish to be honest.

Imagine having a dip of 85k where other countries and big companies trying to hop in the trend of cryptocurrency. You know it's kinda productive for bitcoin to gather this much volume and you know that it's possible that we can reach more milestone after hitting the 100k mark because the more holders we have globally, it can become a major trading asset, imagine those things and we can say that we're currently early at this point.
