Why Spribe hides provably fair formula?

Hello everybody,
Did you know that despite the fact Spribe states it uses Provably Fair technology to calculate outcomes it does not provide public formula to allow players running same algorithm and checking results.
In their game Aviator you really cannot check that outcome is real and not manipulated.
Does anyone tried to check results like me?

I don’t think all games that claim to be provably fair are always open for public verification. IMO, it mostly comes down to trusting the reputation of the casino. If you trust them, there’s no need to doubt whether the game is rigged, as they have a reputation to protect.

However, I’ve read some articles that mention it’s possible to verify fairness, but usually through a third party.

First, I don't know about Spribe. Second, I don't see why they should let you check if it's real or not, it's all just an algorithm. In games like Aviator and Crash, you will just have to rely on your own prediction and that means anytime the game could crash. It could stop at x1.00, x1.01, x1.02, or maybe x2000 but the problem here is that we might not cash out at the right time because we can get greedy.
I think it's not about probably fair because many bettors are betting with you and probably fair might not really be a thing here. Imagine all bettors are losing do they all have to win at once just to say it's fair? What if one bettor who had been losing had become greedy and went on and waited for a higher multiplier and lost? Does that mean it's not fair?
I've played the Crash game for a long time, and I don't see it as a game where probably fair works, it's all up to the gambler on when he will cash out. Because it's not a one-player game like slots and other casino games.

IMO if you cannot verify your results, I would stay away from the site/game. Not worth taking the risk that you are getting screwed over. Rather take my money and head over to a site that I feel a bit safer on. I may not win, but I can feel like I am not being cheated and that's important to me.

But, in "Aviator" section you have a section with "Provably Fair Setting". In there you can find out some information:
- Client your seed
- Server seed SHA256

They also provided you with some information on how to check the Provably Fair.

I have never heard of spribe, let alone playing there, but I suppose they are not the only casino that claim to be running a provably fair system on their games, yet have no means through which players can verify their game results to be sure of their claim.

Personally, I stopped caring about stuffs like this, and this is because, even if they made it possible for players to verify the game result, if the casino really wanted to cheat, they can still program their viewable provably fair system data in a way it looks like it's real, whilst it's not, there is no central system where gamblers can verify such system to be sure it's true and not falsified.

So my strategy have always been to choose the most popular and trusted casino, play and have fun and careless about whether the games are indeed provably fair, I consider loses as myself not being lucky and that's all..

Just a few observations; it’s “provably fair” not “probably fair” - they both mean different things.

And also I think Maslate explanation above is pretty good, if that game is an original game by the casino then they should be able to provide formula to the public if the game fairness is provable but in situations where they are using a third party provider, you won’t expect them to operate the same way they will with their original game - they’ll have to depend on a third party for verification.

I have and I wouldn't blame them to a great extent for not making it public what the outcome are because that would give very good idea in ti chances for winning the game too often than supposed and that will take away the house edge they have always gotten over the gamblers which they would always want to maintain  because that's the best way for them to make the very much funds they are going to be making as a casino off the game so basically that's their method of protecting their edge from the Gamblers.

I have similar thoughts too, and in addition I prefer to stick with well known casino/site than risk my money where I won't have full assurance that the result aren't manipulated, possiblity of results getting manipulated in games from less known is higher than that of popular sites.

They show hash with result, but there is not any formula, it can be just random result stored in database that is not connected to that hash.
That means if there are big bets they can generate low result to make players lose and take money.
