Don't know if it's just me but this Christmas wasn't just it for me. It didn't really feel like Christmas and that's why I didn't bother celebrating. I didn't see others around me celebrating that much too and I just wished I could've done something about it to bring smiles and joy to people faces because things are really getting out of hands with the high cost of foodstuffs. I don't want to bother listing them here but the expenses alone for the common man in my country to celebrate the Christmas could cost them their whole monthly salary and still they won't have enough to celebrate so it doesn't just make sense spending all that money for one day and go hungry for the rest of the month.

Well I don't want to spoil the mood so I wish you and everyone (forum users) a Merry Christmas/boxing day. Next year I hope things get better so people can enjoy the festive period.

You were too early with the thread and I am too late to celebrate. Actually, my country does not celebrate Christmas everywhere because of the religion. The Christian religion is a minority here but hey, the 25th December is still a holiday in Bangladesh regardless of the number of Christian families in this country. The country has holidays for all the religions and that is the best part of my country. I hope we will be able to celebrate a Bitcoin-themed festival/occasion within a decade.

Christmas was a chosen date to remember the birth of our savior Jesus Christ, through who we get hope, peace, love and joy...
It has always been a wonderful celebration but with the recent high cost of living, I know many family will not be able to celebrate it at all or like they do. To be frank, I literally didn't bother much about it, life is not easy. I just want to find a way of speaking about Christ and if I can show some love & support I will because that is the same thing he will do.
