Hi All,

Can someone point me in the right direction.

I would like to build the ESP32 Miner software from source, I've looked all over the github repo https://github.com/skot/ESP-Miner but I cant seem to find anything that details the build enviornment and build process.

I'm sure I've overlooked something.

Can anyone help?

Thanks and Merry Christmas

Have a look at
https://github.com/skot/ESP-Miner/blob/master/.github/workflows/build.yml
Every pushed commit triggers a new build.
These actions can be found here: https://github.com/skot/ESP-Miner/actions

You can just fork the github repository and will get the working CI pipeline for building firmware.

Thanks for your reply. That didnt really help me a lot to be honest.

I'm no software expert sadly. Ideally I need instructions for a novice.

What tools to use e.g. ESP-IDF I think is the right toolchain, but beyond that I'm lost and starting from zero effectively.

Github instructions are not at all clear on how to build locally from source.

I've built CGMiner from source before, but the instructions for that are clear and easy to follow, thats what I need here.
