I do a job and majority of people in my office are doing some sort of work after office to maintain quality life standard. Relying solely on salary will give you a financial crunch and one should have some financial cushion to cater that financial crunch. The neighbourhood part is the hardest one that hits very close to my heart. I was looking to buy a house once upon a time, not that I would ever earn enough to ever buy a house, it's just that we inherited a house when a grandparent passed away unfortunately and my parents are already living in a small elderly people town where they are happy with friends and such, a bit far away (about 5 hours drive) from where I live, so not like they needed a house, so they suggest we should take that house, and either live in it or sell and get another one. Which we did, but while looking at it, I looked at the place where I grew up, mind you I lived 21 years there, from birth until we moved away, for 21 years, and you know the difference now?

It's required for me to make three times the salary I am making, just to rent a place there, that would make me one of the highest paid people I know, impossible to get there with salary nowadays, only executives make that much, and my father wasn't some super rich business person, he was just a regular old white collar, and he rented there for 21 years without any issues at all.

Well, there's nothing that the common man can do if not to lower his expenses and spend in accordance to how he is earning, also look for other side hustle or extra job that will fetch extra income. Those are the possible solutions but when you look at the problem, it's not something you can fight, even if you fight it, you can not win because even the government seem not to be helping the rate at which inflation continues to grow year after year and salary is not being increased to benefit workers, neither is the value of money the same as the olden days. So, the only thing a man can do to help himself is to look at the two solutions which I already mentioned above and perhaps if you can save up to invest in an asset which you know the value will also increase overtime.

My approach is standing out from the crowd. Instead of working to earn a regular salary get a skill and get paid for your service. With a skill you can work for multiple organisations at the same time where by you ration your time to suit your personal preference. The truth is salary will never be enough no matter how much you earn but with a skill you can earn from multiple sources and when you merge the salaries together it becomes big enough to meet your everyday needs and expenses.

The problem is that companies are always trying to figure out a way to make more money, that's how a company is run, nobody owns a company to dream about making less money. Which means that if they can pay people less, that's good for them. Just think about this for a moment, lets say that inflation is 5% in a nation, and they give you 5% increase on your salary, meaning you didn't get poorer, you kept going at the same rate, good for you right?

Well, let's assume this company makes product X, and they are capable of offering you a 5% raise this year because the price of X went up 5% too right? Okay, by January it was 5%, but by July it's 10%, and by December it's 15% higher, so as you can see even if the company gives you what you deserve to get, they are still going to make more during the year because the price will keep going up. That's why it matters so much and I believe that we need to be aware of the fact that companies will never consider your best at heart, they will always try to make more and more.

There is no point in complaining about the poor or indeed bad economic conditions, we must find our own way to improve the unstable economic conditions. In addition, the government will not care about the community, maybe there are some who care about their community, it's just that sometimes it's just for their popularity to be branded as good by the community, however, we ourselves have control over everything to make the economic conditions better.

The concept of seniority like this sometimes always exists in every job or when we start working in an office but things like this should already be left behind and we must be able to take a stand when receiving treatment like this.
We are in the company as an employee which means that our position with others is the same, even though they are seniors because they have been in the company longer than us but no one has the right to intervene with new employees on the grounds of seniority because it violates the rights and obligations as workers.

In the world of work we are required to be professional and what we do is certainly in accordance with what we are good at in terms of expertise so that when you are unable to compete then don't be a bad person by applying seniority like this.

The economy has recovered since COVID and kept doing ok, but the large numbers don't represent more individuals.
The salary has not gone up as much as the costs. Life is too hard now and even with two income earners in a household, expenses are so much you have to give out all your money to pay stuff without being able to save much if at all.

All of us here on the forum are probably experiencing things that we don't want to happen, but we have no choice in the current high cost of living due to inflation. In our country, prices are so high, the savings that most people make are so excessive that they will only increase that savings.

Basically, we have more people who wants to work than available jobs, that's basically the issue. But even more detailed version, there could be unemployed people and positions unfulfilled because while there could be millions of unemployed people, none of them could be good for that job.

Let's assume that you are looking for a specific part of a construction, like wielding or something, there could be millions of unemployed people, but no unemployed wielders where you look for one, and that would mean you will not find any workers. This causes the world to think that people just don't like jobs, there are jobs and people just reject, it is not the case and in most cases it's just that there are too many unqualified people or overqualified people or people who are qualified at jobs that have no opening.

And this one really sucks on which at the time or moment we dont find up any ways on earning more income or sources then you will be fucked up by the inflation itself. Government doesnt really mind that much about making up salary or wage increases year by year or lets say a couple of years but rather become stagnant at the moment or time that inflation do becomes worst year by year then your wage isnt really that enough already even just on day to day survival. How much more into those individuals who do have a family or having some responsibility? Pretty sure that theyre fucked up into this situation and thats why there are some unexpected actions that a certain person might do because of some desperation to live. Somehow we can make out some changes if we wanted to but not all people will be having on the same mentality when it comes to this one.

There are those individuals who doesnt really like or want to depend everything on government actions or any progress because they do know that they wont be going somewhere if they will be having just that kind of waiting game on which we know that everyone is really that hoping for. Instead of waiting, then why you cant just that making up some actions to make up some changes at least? You are the ones who will really be that taking up some action in order for you to have that kind of odds or changes into your life despite on suffering with that inflation and other similar aspect?
