Generally speaking you should always try to hold as little fiat as possible and always try to invest that. During times of international crisis, this becomes even more important to "convert" your fiat. But the goal is to reduce risks not increase them, which means cryptocurrencies in general are terrible choices. Not to mention that altcoins are already terrible even during "normal" times. Only bitcoin is a viable option but you should not ignore its volatility and risks.
As for international trades, they won't be stopped. There will always be a way to transact between countries. Even more now that we have multiple ways of such payments thanks to the dedollarisation process that has forced countries into creating those systems.
I also seriously doubt any country would use bitcoin for their trades in the near future. The reason is again its volatility.
Not btc but they can settle with usdt or usdc easy the stablecoins with international deals transactions it's smart i would say that tron trc20 USDT would be best as world allready love the USDT tron stablecoins i have friends who all want only payments with USDT tron.
But Even If USA canada or Europe UK or russia or all china will be affected bad the yes it reflexts short time the btc and crypto but all world never go full chaos and as long as there is internet and crypto users nothing happens much with cryptocurrency anyways.
So in times like now dollar is what i might hold all the other fiat currencies is foolish to hold because dollar is biggest If all other fall the dollar can still stand up.
If prices of commodities food and other goods going up then fiat currency value goes down.
The price of Bitcoin might go down, but its value won’t. Fiat performance is always tied to economic performance, so when commodity prices rise, it typically signals high inflation as the purchasing power of fiat declines. This can create a domino effect on countries dependent on the supply chain of a struggling nation or those in economic partnerships with it.
With Bitcoin, however, it’s different. While it’s also a global currency, it’s not controlled by any government or entity, and its supply is capped. This means we won’t see scenarios like governments printing more money, which only fuels inflation. Instead, Bitcoin operates on scarcity, a feature that protects it from such risks.
you should rethink your perception, as its opposite of what experts believe calling Bitcoin a hedge against inflation. That’s a significant statement, especially when you truly understand its implications for protecting wealth in unstable economic conditions.
I can dca and i never lose i don't see it's issue people got no issue with volatility we DCA and hold stablecoins for stable funds
