OpenAI being a non-profit and then suddenly wanting to IPO is one of the biggest scams in modern day history. I can’t support that type of behavior. Believe it or not, this thread isn’t about ME. It’s about Grok, so I don’t care to mess around with anything OpenAI does. Morals matter and with all the controversy surrounding AI’s potential dangers, I don’t think making the scammiest company in modern day history the leader in this industry is a good idea.

Non profit turning to a profit oriented platform, well that’s some free mode being shipped about to get people testing and using the product and once they know it to be good, they switch because, they sense that you wouldn’t be leaving for an alternative but, that’s on the side.

Nah, raising billions of dollars from other companies and individuals as a non-profit while telling congress that you have no intention of making money or being paid a salary, then weeks later asking for 10 billions dollars in personal compensation while the company now has an intention to go public is as bad as it gets.  Even if OpenAI does succeed and continue to grow, until Sam Altman is ousted, the company cannot be trusted.  It is actually a worst case scenario for mankind that this is the sort of person leading the AI charge, and that's why Elon had to create a competitor in xAI.  If he doesn't succeed, you cannot understate the bad that is heading our way.

Thank you. It is nice getting impartial feedback as opposed to the constant trolling that typically happens here when you become successful. It can be hard to know who is full of it and who is telling the truth. I think for those of us who are honest and do good, AI will continue to be a blessing.

Most AI companies will advertise themselves as being neutral, however, as with many tech companies, this is simply not the case. One example I would provide would be that of twitter pre-Musk takeover. Facebook and google are two other good examples.

Sure, I'm not saying AI is perfect, but at least it is based in reality.  If you ask some of the people who have left me red trust to ask about my contributions to Bitcoin, you'll get some half baked rant about them making some stupid decision and blaming me for it.  AI doesn't have feelings and doesn't blame others or hold a grudge if they were on the wrong side of a trade or a scam they were pulling with an alt account got broken up by me.  It just researches and reports on what it finds.  It will never try to call me a scammer for giving people data on the USD value of my collectibles or inquiring about making a donation.  So it isn't a bad resource when compared to many individuals on this site.

Grok is getting better at digging up information on users. Give it a try and you might be surprised at how well it describes people. Sure, it might not find everything, but it does usually find relevant information on people who have done things in the public space. This is going to become a lot more commonplace very quickly.
