I agree with most of your points but in this particular thing, Jumping into every new trend isn't always the brightest thing to do. As much as being an early adopter can present opportunities, it is always good to research and understand the risks involved first before plunging into them. I personally think op didn't do proper justice with this step about not having to copy anybody if you wanna get rich. I don't think there's anything new towards achieving success in life that anybody would want to do that hasn't been done before now, the only thing is just people having to add some uniqueness to what they copied. Take the automobile industry for example, one company invented the motor car and others keyed in and remodeled theirs from the original source of invention and today we have different automobile companies. when it comes to being either successful or rich, ACTION does far more than reading a thousand books or watching a hundred motivational videos on ways to become successful. i have read "rich dad and poor dad" and have equally had a glance through "think and grow rich" at the time i knew little about finance, book books are well written and contains fact that can help one become rich but reading that book and any other great books alone don't translate to the kind of result successful people have had. even though there might be some sort of argument on what being successful really is and whether having money means that one is successful, in the end, wealth is one of the leading indicators that shows that one is successful.
