Lately, there’s been a lot of buzz around Telegram mini apps. Some of the projects fail to keep the promise they made to the community while some that started off as play-to-earn switched to pay-to-earn later on. This made some people give up on Telegram as a whole while some still think “all hope is not lost”. I would say i’m part of the latter because few projects have proven to be credible, one of them is Vertus.

It has one of the best infrastructure for a Telegram built project. From allowing users mine directly on TG to creating a custodial wallet which allows users to send and receive VERT tokens and it also rewards users for the wallet activities. With the token set to be listed soon and also available for pre market, I can say this project should be on one’s watchlist.

many of these projects are cool at first then they start not promising what they say and they lose faith but I would say that maybe you can get something out of all these coins even $50 from each one is always a profit but you have to understand that they are not anything stable

I will advise that you shouldn't give yourself so much hope as well as believing to any form of hypes not until it is proven otherwise, I have received so much disappointments from the few projects I gave my time where the rewards gotten didn't worth the time and the energy being invested, only do whatever you can do without so much expectations as not to be disappointed if things didn't work out as expected. However, it is by choice actually to participate in any airdrops and not by force and getting the ones to look out for can as well be very difficult, we never can tell or justify any projects from whatever we think will make them different from the others, just do as many as you can and lower your expectations.

this is the problem with TG projects, always reinventing the wheel, same concept different project, the TON wallet isn't even finished yet with their development and other project with same concept come up and the main selling point is just the future rewards.

TON ecosystem should learn from solana ecosystem building great projects that actually has utility, as far as I know, TON always come up with something that's so 2021-ish, like this wallet project.

Yep. TON projects are too easy to get in and out - that's why they don't bring much in the end.
And that was their gist in the past - but now it's gone due to the trend dying out a bit.

Just heard about the Vertus project now.

Now there are so many mini apps games with the same concept but the games are not much different, it's just that of the many launched only a few are good, even many have abandoned mini apps because they don't pay well.

I don't really focus on TG projects, for me it's mostly unclear projects, so I mostly skip projects from TG, maybe only a few are followed.

This started when the Notcoin and Dogs airdrops, which only used telegram bots to run, could generate considerable rewards for the community. This makes developers take advantage of the situation for their own interests, as far as i can see there are no developers who give large rewards for free to the airdrop community, even some of them choose to farm and most projects do not have Utility, even roadmaps.

First, I will say most projects not some because the percentage of the TOn projects that have worked out so far are little. Still, I won't shut all of them down and say we still can't see any good projects anymore, quite the contrary, I'm still on the look out for good TG mini apps even though it's halfheartedly. I did see that VERT on X, I think it was going to be added to the Bitget pre-market but I didn't really pay it much attention, I'll read more about it even though it's too late to join in the fray, it will still be interesting to watch.

That's how it goes with the tap to earn projects, they've made a buzz in the community and markets after successful airdrops but that didn't stay for so long.

And that's one thing that I'll avoid to make is to make wallets in there. I know that there are integrated wallets in there but I am still kinda off in using it or even wallet creation through it.

If it's all about wallet creation, I'd go with the common ones and not that can mostly be found on TG.

I think the image of TG projects has been damaged because the majority of the airdrops they have are just lies and deceptions and scams in the community, there are so many devs in TG who are scammers that's the truth.

They will say they have airdrops but they are openly scamming their community participants who made a transaction for eligibility but the addresses they will give are the personal addresses of the Devs. That's why now no one believes in airdrops projects in TG.

First of all, thank you for sharing the information about related token projects. Projects done through Telegram mini apps are no longer sexy after many projects there did not fulfill their promises or did not generate enough profit from the time spent. In my opinion, only people who don't value their time play those mini apps, and there is no sustainability of those tokens in the market. So, it's not worth putting on the watchlist.

And true enough, it loses the potential of this concept; so many scammers and bad developers have made this their cash cow, so people are leaving, and its only a matter of time before this concept becomes obsolete.

80% of TG tap to earn makes promises and didn't keep to it. If I'll be exploring Tg projects from next year it won't be Tap to earn. It'll probably be Defi, peeps trading or something else. Op mentioned Vertus

A trend that started with rewards being given to participants for promoting or supporting a project in its initial stage has become a way to earn money for projects. As OP mentioned it, most of the mini-apps in Telegram these days are more focused on earning money than promoting their projects through their participants and rewarding them for it. They compel their participants to pay money in one way or another, and if you, as a participant, don't do it, you will most likely get nothing after the TGE and airdrop.

So, those who are interested in them and believe they can earn money from them without spending a penny shouldn't waste their time. Unless you are someone who is ready to invest money in these projects or mini-bots, you should stay away from them and use your time for something more productive.

I'm saying all this after experiencing it myself. I have participated in a few projects and have seen what they do or are doing. I have left doing that for good.

Yes Hamster Kombat did the community dirty and it had the most players on telegram then. Same thing with Memefi but i believe Vertus will have a good listing price.

Tho, i have lower expectations but i think this project might do well compared to former ones. Let’s wait and see what it has in store.

Its official channel on TG is Vertus Foundation - Mine VERT. I only follow up a few TG projects, i don’t follow the crowd anymore. I conduct background check before before concluding on how good a project will be.

Most developers have made TG projects pay-to-earn which is why i make some findings before diving into any project. Only a few projects have potential right now
