Can you please explain your idea of "Tag audit feature". How will it work? I mean something relating to feedback system should be handled by humans and not codes
I am interested in this because overtime I have seen some group of DT members unjustly tag and damage account of users, especially lower ranked members. This system could bring justice to them. Please explain how you want this to be implemented.

I would love to see a "like button" which members who are out of merit or those who don't intentionally want to merit such posts but agree with those comments can click on to show they vibe with such posts. It's like what we've on most SM platforms. Here, that can be gravitated to a certain number of likes a post could get and the likes automatically convert to a merit point for that user.

So, how do you propose it's implemented? Do users get to like unlimited posts, or will there be a limit just like smerits? If you propose a user can like posts without a limit and then those likes should convert to merits automatically, this will be abused to another level. And, if you propose that there should be a limit on how many posts one can like and they need to earn likes just like merits, I don't see how it will be any different than the merit system that is already present.

Even though I believe it's unnecessary because we shouldn't slowly convert this traditional and historical forum into a social media platform, if something like that is implemented, it shouldn't affect a user's rank or anything like that. The likes on your posts should only show how many people like your thoughts and ideas and nothing else.

If you actually perused my post you would've understood that I meant using "likes" accumulated on posts to translate to merit. I don't see how that will be abused other than the merit system is. Let's not deceive ourselves. No system is without its errors or loopholes. Don't we've people caught in time past abusing the merit system? Has that made the whole merit thing worthless? But of course, it hasn't. Again, I don't propose there should be a limit to how many "likes" a post gets; just the same way there's no limit to how many merits a post gets.

I totally understood what you proposed/suggested, but it seems like you didn't understand what I asked/said. I didn't say anything about how many likes a post can get. I asked about how many posts a user can like, and if there is no limit, then a user can abuse this feature by liking all the posts of their alts or friends or people they are in contact with so that they can grow in ranks since you suggested that likes should then be converted to merits which will eventually affect a user's rank because earning merits is what stops the growth of undeserving members but this system will allow them to bypass that.

Then I said that if there will be a limit on how many posts a user can like, and they will need to earn their right to like posts since it will be directly related to merits, then we already do have a system that basically does the same thing which is the merit system.

So, even if a "Likes" system is implemented, it shouldn't serve as a metric that would affect a user's rank at all, but it can only serve as a complementary system for people to like the posts that they find helpful/constructive/amusing/funny, etc.

I think one specific feature that the forum is missing is to automate the banning of a user from posting twice in a row instead of making a single post, there should be a specific time to be able to comment again in cases where no other user has commented yet.

Another feature is that the creator of the post can pin a reply to appear as the first comment on the post as a possible highlight, solution or informative depending on the topic.

I'm glad it's not only me who sees some unjust tagging, some are even annoying when reading them, for it may not be uncalled for in all sense of thought.  I wonder how this is justice when some underserving people, whose state of mind is not even known were given such a power, which is more painful if it is meted out to voiceless and defenceless people.

Well, I don't know how this "Tag audit feature" should take place, still, I suggest a special place with a special feature where those who are tagged unjustly can file a claim and neutral/most trusted members of the forum can hear both sides and deliver their final verdict via a vote, just like jurors.

I think one specific feature that the forum is missing is to automate the banning of a user from posting twice in a row instead of making a single post, there should be a specific time to be able to comment again in cases where no other user has commented yet.

Another feature is that the creator of the post can pin a reply to appear as the first comment on the post as a possible highlight, solution or informative depending on the topic.

The second feature could be abused by  spammers here. It will increase workload for moderators.

There is no point in having a feature like that unless there is an official rule against AI-generated stuff, but currently, there isn't. Users in the AI Spam Report Reference Thread are already doing a pretty good job of finding and reporting members who are using AI to generate their posts, but mods barely ban the users for doing that unless there is some other offence found.

You don't need to ban them or take any action. But I will like to know if the post I am replying is AI generated. I wouldn't want to waste my time replying bunch of generated texts.
Further more, users with high rate of AI generated texts might be reducing their chances of joining signature campaigns.

@EarnOnVictor, this is what the reputation board does. Although doesn't give justice. I think you are suggesting that if someone is unjustly tagged, they will raise an alarm just like creating a flag. If majority supports the alarm, the red tag will not stand, vice versa

The Reputation section is good, no doubt, but it's just for the conception and participation of anyone who deems it necessary, not a dedicated place for my suggestion.Just like in any place of discussion, you can discuss and share your thoughts and leave without any important actions taken.

However, this is different from a court where an assembly of juries is dedicated to the particular goal and MUST reach a valid decision after weighing both sides of the argument and the evidence presented.

Something similar to the latter is my disposition in that post!

There should be a Meritcoin that is a Rune, and you get it by cashing out your merits via the Merit Redemption button. You don't actually lose your merits but the ones that are "cashed out" can't be redeemed again. Honestly I would probably use Runes if we could do that. I know a lot of people don't like the idea of using Bitcoin for shitcoins, so we could also just do it as a Solana shitcoin. That would be fun.

Aight so basically this would be pretty cool in my book: a section in the collectibles section for an image gallery of all coins and a like function maybe, I'd also love to see a bitcoin gaming section. Theymos already made that sweet poker game and I'm so hoping he keeps that. I'd also love to see a game option that allows us to bet for bitcoin. It would be pretty cool if we had a btalk wallet that would register every address already and if someone did something really cool or something or gave you valuable information you could tip them via like similar feature to sending merit but the click of tjr button would automatically transfer a small amount of bitcoin just as a not. Idk I think that would be cool. In the games section you could make more add space so btslk could make money from it. Also, I really like that chat feature in the poker game and it would be cool to have AOL for Btslk as another option on top of PMs
