Since the price collapsed below $20,000 in the previous winter, anything is possible and we may see levels below $50,000, but it is unlikely to happen before we see prices above $110,000. We really need very bad news to see those levels in the next 6 months.

I wouldn't compare the last cycle to this one: in this case many bitcoins have been bought at prices way higher than $50,000, especially those bought by the ETFs. In order to get below $50,000 a ton of people, and I mean really a lot, should sell at loss, why would they do that? People who buy ETFs are in for the long run, they don't want some quick gain, so it's extremely unlikely that all these people would sell when they have no reason.

Everything will be possible so you should prepare yourself. If that is really happen, I will use the time to buy more Bitcoin because that is the best moment that we will have. We may not see that price anymore in the future so it is better to prepare our money and be ready for anything that can happen.

Since the cryptocurrency market is associated with volatility, So nothing is impossible here. In the month of January 2023, we saw that the price of Bitcoin fell by a large amount. Even in January of that year, Bitcoin fell below $20,000. So it's not impossible that anytime we see Bitcoin price drop below $50,000 in the market.

I think buying Bitcoin is considered cheap in any market condition ie any market time. For those who buy Bitcoin regularly and plan to hold their investment for a long time, Maybe the price of Bitcoin is cheaper for them anytime.

I think so too because in the future we would get to a stage when the support of Bitcoin will be above $100,000 that Bitcoin might never fall below that price again unless something very bad happens to the world economy that affects all the financial markets. I do not know the exact price that Bitcoin is going to crash to after the bull market is over and we begin to experience correction but the price is going to fall very well therefore we have to be prepared for it when it happens and not to be surprised. It can fall below $50,000 and it still might not fall below that price but still the price that Bitcoin falls to should not be our problems because the price will still bounce back and the harder it falls is the better opportunity it gives to us to buy low and sell higher.

Yes, BTC will likely return to 50K and possibly even drop lower, but I believe this will happen after one last wave that could take us to a new ATH (I hope so). After that, the price will probably start to decline, likely in a few months, so you will have enough time to benefit from the current situation. As for the potential rise, if a new ATH happens, such as 120K or 130K, the increase will be fast, huge, and difficult to catch if your goals are not clear...My point is not to follow the news of governments or what the world is planning to adopt in the future, because it is a cycle and every cycle must be respected despite what the media says.

Exactly, it will take extremes negative news to really put a damp on the market to crash of 50% from it's last all time high. Not saying that it might not happen, but the likelihood is slim and close to zero as we are still at the start of the bull cycle. Before we forget, and again, Trump might not be the beloved President that some Americans wanted, but he will be officially in the White House in January 20th so I think this is a very positive news for us.

And if we wonder, what will be that negative news that will cause the price to a massive downward spiral?

It's hard to think, but one possibility is that if Trump chances his tune and made a U-turn and going anti-Bitcoin? What are the chances of that?

Bear is far from us, indeed. And I do think it would happen only if there were multiple events like that for it to take place.
Because to break the sentiment we've got now, it wouldn't be enough otherwise.

I think 60k seems like a good possibility, we were around that level before the bull started, so maybe reaching back to that makes sense. But 50k is a "round" number in many peoples eyes, so we could maybe go down there too. What I know is that we are not going to go down under 20k last time, that is known ,and considering how much we have increased now, we could maybe imagine under 50k is the lowest we could be, doubt that we would go under 40k again, it's just too high to make it go down that much.

Do you know how many billions of dollars worth of bitcoin needs to be sold at market price and lower just to make it go down that much? It would have to be a lot and I honestly do not think that this would make any sense, it's just not going to happen. I mean I have seen it drop a lot before, every single bear run, and it was never 90%+ levels, so I do not think that we are going to reach the last times bottom because of that, reaching about 45-46k range and bounce back up makes more sense.

Even at $40,000, it’s still possible. But we don’t think about those moments because it is most likely the price to stay high due to the continuous high demand as more countries are starting to embrace it. That makes it unlikely for prices to drop just like before because just only a few people were into it.

As an investor, of course, I’d prefer to buy Bitcoin at a low price. But with demand consistently rising and influencing price trends, it’s something we can’t really expect anymore.

The price is unstable at the moment and still doing well, the year is still early aside this there’s no sign the price will go below $50k. For the fact bitcoin price prediction is difficult this time around the correction will not affect the market so dip not because governors find bitcoin valuable or they’re beginning to hold that’s not the reason, from past cycle bitcoin is yet to experience the bull market personally bitcoin price will not fall so low even if it goes below we all know the price will rise perhaps an opportunity for many to take advantage and accumulate.

As others have obviously pointed out, it'd take some EXTREMELY negative bad press for the price to crash that far off. At most, we might see it at around 60k before it bounces back again like what happened a couple of years ago (15k ish bounce). At least from this point anyway. After like say the end of 2025, I wouldn't put out the possibility of it dropping down slowly to those levels. But even then I'd consider 50k to be the bottom, or maybe 40k at most.

And Bitcoin, being cheap at 100k, still seems pretty far off. It's the peak right now after all.

Bitcoin going $50k would be difficult it may only occur if there's a bad news that may lead to the price to drop to such range. Bitcoin is still very bullish In the year 2025 ( this is when the may rally will occur).

But if anything lead to the price to drop to such range which is $50k, I'm not sure that there would be any panic from any one that understands the system of bitcoin, rather they will sees it as an opportunity to buy more bitcoin in a cheaper rate and hold.

But once the BSR is implemented, bitcoin is going to skyrocket to a beautiful price range , but either ways bitcoin is still in a bullish trend.

Well for me it's the same, one day it has to go down in price, if it's to $50k then it's much better because with that you can buy a lot more btc, still I continue with my DCA plan to accumulate as much as I can, if I see that things are good as they are then I keep buying btc, if I see that it goes down more then I will try to even lend money to buy more btc, if everything goes as planned this year we will have a much better ATH than b$100k, if so then welcome, we can't rack our brains because it's going down, we have to take advantage of everything.

History is always bound to repeat itself and in the crypto space this isn't entirely impossible, but there's a high possibility that it might not go below this specific price but this are just speculations, don't be surprised that it might go below what is expected. Volatility is a constant dynamic in the crypto space so always expect a massive dump that might come at any time. Yes, that scenario is possible but I do not see it happening this year, as we are still in the bear market. During the last bear market, from $69k to $15,500 so that is a huge dip, so maybe next year, and as you have said, it depends on the top price.

So if it hits lets say $150k as our top price, then there is a big possibility base on the last bear market that we can go down as deep as 3x. And so that is the cycle of this market, and for sure some of us is already aware of, but for now, we are in the bear market so let's see what will be the top price.
