I spent the holidays creating a Bitcoin video and would love your feedback on it

Saw the vidoeo earlier this week ... just getting to know you made a post about it, and yeah it might look a little bit complicated for someone who has little or no idea about bitcoin before so you could break it down into smaller videos , taking It section by section .
There's no need to touch the one you already posted but you can make more videos , shorter and focused on a particular aspect each imo ...

I guess what he/she meant is creating a shorter video (i.e video having an average length of 3 to 4 minutes), and not specifically YouTube shorts (i.e videos from 1 to 90 seconds). But however, YouTube shorts aren't that bad too, as they tend to go viral more than longer contents.

I have read the page one to this page. I like that you engaged with the feedback given. And that makes me hopeful that you work on the comments.

The change that I look towards is the one of breaking the videos into shorter parts to fit into the short attention span of people. And those who are beginners will be able to follow through at a slow pace and understand it too.

Yeah it's a good approach for beginners, they probably won't get it the first time any ways, but having the idea  works .
Nonce is not the only item that's being subject to change in the block header....

Typically, the nonce starts a 0 and it is incremented until a qualifying hash is found or all the possible nonces have been tried. If all the nonces have been tried, then something else in the header is changed and the nonce starts back at 0. This process keeps going until a block header that has a qualifying hash is found.

An interesting note, there is a good reason why nonce is the preferred variable to change. SHA256 is divided into chunks of 64 bytes; [nVersion, PrevHash, 28 bytes of merkle root] + [4 bytes of merkleroot, timestamp, difficulty, nonce and padding].  Changing the nonce would be more efficient than changing anything else since you would only have to compute the second chunk. Hence, miners repeatedly hash the latter part of the chunk to find the nonce which yields a hash that has the appropriate target.

Nonce is not the only item that's being subject to change in the block header....

That is a nice video, i watched it from beginning to the end, the sound and the voice over is also perfect for a good listening experience.

I like how you touched on important aspects of BTC, especially on the issue of quantum computers that so many people have talked about in this forum. They are worried about something that is still a long time away from being a problem and that would not affect only BTC, but other key areas of our economy and lives; i am certain as well that before QC becomes a problem we would have transitioned to a network that is resistant to it.

I like the simplicity of the video. The information it seeks to spread will be easily understood by even young people. Anything that will lead to the spread of Bitcoin awareness is good for the industry. I think your video will help more people in this world by also adding some subtitles to your YouTube video. And it's actually quite easy to do it with the features that YouTube currently provides.
