Well, there is nothing wrong about reading gambling books, but I don't know what we get from it. Maybe it was just another story-telling just to encourage gamblers. But I don't think that is what we want to happen. Because even if we do this every day, I'm certain this will never change the outcome of our bet. It never helps, but instead, this will even drive addiction because of the good story in there that influences our minds. Gambling is not about reading books, but it is about hoping for luck. Knowledge is useless if we are still unlucky.

I don't think you need to try to read anything about gambling and betting, because a much better solution would be to watch videos on YouTube. Videos are absorbed by the brain much better and more interesting. Visual beautiful pictures, pleasant voice of the announcer and so on. That's why when playing card games before I always watched videos and did not read various books and manuals from masters of card games.

This is good advice. I once watched a series of videos about the theory of how roulette works in a casino and what is the probability of winning the lottery, everything is clear with numbers and facts, very informative. There is nothing complicated about sports betting, it is enough to understand the rules of the sporting event well and study the strengths of the team or athlete against the opponent. I do not understand how literature will help here, only complete immersion in the study and the process of the game.

A book that will make him to begin to win? Tell him not to deceives himself. That gambling and betting are not about making money but about entertaining oneself. The best that you can tell him is to let him know about using just 1% of his income on gambling, that if he increases the percentage, it should not be more than 5%. I did not read any book for gambling.

This advice is meant to receive award because I wonder what the book will entails and what kind of knowledge it will passed to the reader, this your advice to me make me laugh not because is out of point but because it's the only truth about betting or gambling believing that book can have any impact to improve anyone is a lie from pit of hell. I also agree with you very much, gambling never requires any book or any deep knowledge, if there is any book related to gambling, it only creates false hope of winning in people's minds, and makes them addicted to gambling, and gambling addiction causes economic losses on the one hand, and on the other hand it also has a very negative impact on mental and social relationships. The person you are talking about has a strong egotistical attitude where he does not want to give in and does not want to admit that he is wrong even though in reality he is wrong. People like this have high prestige but it is difficult for them to be aware of their behavior like that, it takes something that can be said to be on a large scale to make them aware like the case experienced by the man you are talking about with his son and daughter leaving him because his behavior made them uncomfortable.
I don't know if he lost a lot of assets or not, because that only happens to someone who is addicted, because someone who is addicted to gambling is likely to experience something like this and there have been many people who have experienced something like this I am sure you know that there have been many cases like this.

In reality, gambling is very difficult to achieve success but with some guidance the chances of success are much higher so reading the book is important but by betting through practice practice it is much more useful. Letters and numbers are all familiar for me, there is always a reference if something is written on Latin. But when it comes to practice, I will fail with high probability. And with gambling it is even more complicated due to random and luck factors. Just imagine if success of chemistry experiment would be dependable from luck also. For me it is only practice. If someone wants to master his skill in gambling, only practice will help.

Some people are so skilful with their skills that they can write attractively in a way that will catch readers eyes, and they will enjoy reading it, and everything written down there will also be understood by the reader. The same thing is also applicable with video; sometimes it's also based on the individual, which one they like best and which one gives them what they want, the more if it's watching a detailed video or reading about gambling.

Had never seen where someone read to become successful in gambling because there are no tools or trick to it, we know how gambling works and there no books that can make someone win more faster, people can read books or watch to learn how to gambling or start their practices but it would be hard for them explore those strategies that they have said in gambling to achieve a big time winning.

Agreed because I don't think you can read to become successful in gambling. Gambling is different from other things that can be taught with some set of rules. The rules in gambling are different for different people because you can be doing this particular thing and making successful bets and someone using that same strategy isn't winning. Reading in gambling should only be for the rules of the game and that of the casino that you're playing in to be known. You can also be reading for guidelines on how to avoid addiction or other negative side of gambling. You read books on that to gain experience from others point of view so you don't become a victim of addiction. To be victorious in gambling, you need to work on your gambling habits and develop your own strategy or supernatural beliefs to help you out and also depend on luck.

Books on gambling, really that is going to be hard to get but then it not hard to get other educational materials like articles on gambling that can serve as a guide to your gambling experience, but such information is mostly fund on forums such as this forum gambling board if you are active and reading others comments you will learn a lot from that, this forum has helped me a lot in preparing me for the future as a newbie both in gambling and trading and recently I have noticed that I have been making some notable progress and all that is possible with the information I got from reading comments in the dedicated board for both gambling and trading, you can refer your friend to this forum for educational purposes.
