I've updated my node from v27 to v28 and now ckpool is unable to authenticate to the bitcoind rpc server. I've tried to edit the ckpool.conf to provide the credentials bitcoind is looking for but I'm unsuccessful.
Does anyone have experience getting ckpool to work with bitcoind? I've tried both user and password (legacy) and rpcauth(new preferred way). My node is happy with rpcauth as the logs suggest. It appears ckpool is not presenting the expected credentials.
-------------------------------------- update: seems the failures to authenticate were because it couldn't find the ckpool.conf which was sitting under /usr/local/src, while I have the ckpool sitting in /usr/local/bin. For reasons I don't quite understand, copying the ckpool.conf over to /usr/local/bin solved the authentication issue. user and pass (legacy) works just fine now.
