Thanks for the feedback and the link! It’s true that these coins were sold together for around $2,000 in Bitcoin, but I think that was an incredible deal for the buyer. The ETH coin is still relatively easy to find for now, but pairing it with the Bitcoin coin is what makes this set special. With only 200 ETH coins and 100 Bitcoin coins, creating this combination is extremely scarce and scarcity always adds value.
This set holds even more significance because of its story and the value collectors place on the Bitcoin coin. Many collectors treasure this piece and plan to keep it for generations, especially given the CI history and the artist behind it, who’s truly of our generation. Over time, I’m sure demand for the ETH coin will grow, as collectors realize the importance of having the full set, and that’s when the real game begins.
As for Scarce City, it’s a unique platform, but sometimes pieces end up undervalued there due to the lack of reserves or a smaller reach. I’ve experienced this myself, where material costs outweighed bids on a piece. While I’ve had some great sales, like the Sauron bug to a dedicated Bitcointalk collector, I’ve decided to step back from using the platform for now.
Thanks again for your thoughts and wishes, really appreciate it!
