Which Altcoins Are Leading the Pack in 2025?

This might be too early to ask, but I am sure throughout 2024, a lot of altcoins with continued growth will enter 2025. I'm not sure which is the current altcoin that is chosen by same holders..

Tho I hold quite a lot of tokens, most of my holdings in DOGE, SUI, BNB, BGB... and guess what those tokens didn't disappoint me, as DOGE was driven by the hype and Elon's impression gave it a good boost, SUI just broke its ATH, on other hand BNB & BGB broke its ATH last year.. It's good how each token operates in their diff way, tho it can be fail in some ways for alts, which we have to DYOR them and choose good alts..

So yeah, these picks have blessed me with profits but beyond that they’ve shown how patience and strategy in holding the right alts can really pay off. I am sure you guys also feel the same way.. Hopefully this year will be packed with profits and good strategies to earn more profits, rewards and etc.

For the long term this year of course it will go to altcoins that have good fundamentals, not necessarily those that are in the early stages of development, but it could also be Ethereum (ETH) because they have not shown a good enough price increase. Then in the short term, it certainly has to be hype-driven. For now & in the future, AI Agents category tokens might be a good choice. For short-term tokens, I can't name them, because it's just momentum.

I have two categories that potentially leading in 2025.

1. AI agent, i.e Virtual. AI agent has become the new trend, and the money is shifting on it. You can see how some AI agent tokens are increasing drastically. So many Venture Capitals are starting to allocate lots of money to invest in AI agents related project.

It's hard to call AI agent won't to lead market this year. Many are starting to pay attention to this kind of project.

2. DeSci i.e Bio Tech. I know DeSci is still relatively new to some people, and i hear some who cons and pros to this, but a new trend is always getting pumped. We rarely saw projects touched this sector. I think it's gonna big as long as there will be a project that can be a pioneer for the development of Decentralized Science.

pretty sure we will see winners emerge in the AI category but i think Virtual is the best right now


DeFi - Hyperliquid, AAVE and Ethena

Hyperliquid = new perp dex with EVM L1 built on top of it. Ethena = new synthetic stablecoin with yield farming protocols


in terms of L1s you have Hyperliquid, SUI, Berachain and Monad

although the narrative seems to be more on the AI agent side, I also think that perp dex and some good L1 might take the spotlight.

berachain seems doing pretty well, so many integration with various defi right now, with monad, it's still unclear because their devnet is limited.

i'm expecting something big will come from berachain and monad though, something like those arbitrum and optimism craze, big airdrops and massive event.
but personally I bet first quarter of this year would be AI agent craze.

I also have something to contribute to this thread. Currently, AI agents are the latest big trend. One of the largest platforms for creating AI agents is creator.bid, which is supported by Binance and is aiming to go public this year.

The content will reflect Alice Weidel's typical statements and political stance so that the connection is recognizable to the audience. The agent refers to current events in Germany and uses viral topics. It criticizes the established parties and points out alternatives. His aim is to become as viral and well-known as possible. He criticizes too much bureaucracy and waste of taxes. He promotes economic and personal freedom, internal security and the rule of law. He stands for higher pensions, less welfare state and more personal responsibility. It promotes greater investment in education and research.

We want to take advantage of the momentum likely to be generated by the conversation between Alice Weidel and Elon Musk on January 9th.
However, we plan to manage the project for the long term, as it requires little effort—the AI handles almost everything.

The project is currently in the 'bonding phase.' Until 6 Ethereum (on the Base blockchain) are collected, it can only be found on the creator.bid platform.

You do know that he is the chairperson of DOGE department and still holds a large amount of DOGE as I heard.

I am sure elon musk will not abandon that. Hype down doesn't mean that it will last long, you gotta give it time again and it'll go up again Moreover, we'll see more rise in the upcoming bull.

Well there is good chance that ethereum will not be left behind.. For the past few months, this has been struggling, but managed to hit $4K last month..

Seen some guys saying this is the last dip for eth, so a pretty good chance it'll go up and catch momentum.. the alts on the ethereum chain will have great impact soon especially BGB, UNI and others. Trying to get some alts bagged in from events, I am currently partaking in their new year, new you 100% returns event to get some BGB rewards.

I will go with SOLANA as one of the leading coins this year, due to the huge and massive adoption of memecoins, especially with AI related tokens. There are many other Altcoins out there that I can’t surely suggest but most of them won’t bring anything new to the market other than what we have already.
I believe the success behind any Altcoin is the hype created in social spaces, followed by investors and many others trying to make a fortune from buying that exact coin everyone is talking about. At the end of the day only long term projects with good vision are the ones that going to last and gain a momentum trend other than a pump and dumb.

Don't you think the appointment of Elon by Trump to head a new department called DOGE might trigger some kind of hype post inauguration? Even though it is not certain this will happen, I see it as a possibility which can lead to some crazy moves in DOGE coin. Apart from this expectations, I don't plan to buy DOGE instead I am looking at XRP, XLM and SOL as my major picks for the bull run. They all have already shown some great potential especially XRP and there is still the possibilities of greater performance.

There are so many potential altcoins these days, and some of the ones I know have potential but I can't afford to buy them all, first of all Bnb, Sol, Pol, Trx, Kas, Atr, Bonk, pepe, shib, Ton, and others that I won't mention.

The others that have recently come out are Notcoin, Bome, Dogs, Doge and Hbar, actually there are many more, it's up to others to research as long as
they are included in the top listings in the market, they are good for sure.

In my opinion no, Doge will continue to dance because it becomes a meme coin icon in the crypto market, but the increase in my opinion will not be significant as before because to get a significant increase requires greater money from the marketcap now, it is very difficult to gather that has no important utility to get that.
All of that will happen as before, falling to $ 0.1 after the pleasure ends, because today's rapidly large has not happened to make the current price still survive and still has a chance to increase even though it is small.

We are just at the beginning of a new bull run hence what level of profits you have made so far will get multiplied in coming months if you remain patience enough. I am not talking about any one or two particular coins from your bag but I simply mention about the overall trend of this altcoin space. This also doesn't mean you need to go and look for other potential coins for holding up. You may continue holding what you already have and may go for DCA with bitcoin to see more profits by end of this year.

Not only one of the biggest in the meme coin field but also in crypto in general. This is how superb DOGE is, compared to other but for the features, I don't think it have a lot of it, it is because DOGE doesn't have a smart contract capability. Also, I won't say 'all the time', when it comes to rallies because mate, we still can't predict the future. What if the guys above are right that what if Elon will drop the support for DOGE one day to look for the other that he think much better than it? This is why it is better to not always be confident and HODL for too long without also selling from time to time, and then we must have a backup like we also have other investments.

You are free to believe in it, and I am sure that we are going to see it do better as well, the question is how we are going to do when it's a bigger deal, because RNDR will get plenty of competition after a while and we need to be careful about that. If there are more competition and there are ones that does better then we could potentially do better as well for our investments but RNDR may not do that well because there are better ones out there.

I haven't seen one that I like so far, but I am looking, if RNDR does better then I will consider getting it, if anything else does better then I will try to get that one, I am not going to end up doing that much investment towards it yet though, because I do not think that AI is where it could be, not yet at least.
