The reason is simple, they think bitcoin is too expensive and may not give them the huge profits they desire since they only plan on short term investment so they prefer those shitcoins with the mindset that they can afford as many of it as they can and still make huge profits within a shorter time frame but in the end they still find out those are scam shitcoins. So unfortunate that most people are after get quick rich coins even when they are aware that those coins are very risky and cannot stand for long. Another stupid mentality they have is that when they see a coin pumping, they assume it's gonna continue pumping without knowing that it could be a trap for them to lose their money after investing.

I think it's never too late to buy bitcoin, the current price for most people is quite expensive but not for me. By buying it regularly, of course we will get the average price of our investment and we will enjoy the results in the next 5 or 10 years. Not only that, Bitcoin can be an inheritance for your beloved children.

Don't get me wrong.  I had never gotten into bitcoin with high expectations of guaranteed returns, yet my beginning years in bitcoin, I had hoped that my bitcoin investment would average around 6% per year price appreciation, and largely my investment into bitcoin had ended up providing somewhere in the ballpark of 65% per year price appreciation, and that is way better than I had expected.

I have my own charts that project out bitcoin's 200-WMA, which I consider to be a much better way of measuring bitcoin's valuation in order to not get caught up on the volatility of spot price, since the 200-WMA measures the bottom price, and my current projections of the 200-WMA shows the 200-WMA crossing over $10 million in around 2067, which is ONLY around 42 years from now. .and yeah I consider my 200-WMA projection to be fairly conservative.  I do have an earlier and more conservative version showing the 200-WMA crossing over $10 million in 2073... but yeah, that is nearly 50 years from now.. but still considered a bottom price which would suggest that the spot price is likely tending to be higher than that.

I believe that many has went on that part and ended up learning the hard way while others can conclude that after all they are all the same while they are not, it is a complete set of distractions even to those old people in to it, talk more of a newbie, I know of a friend who got burnt in one of those projects that someone lead him into it since then he doesn't even like anyone mentioning even Bitcoin to him thinking that they are all the same whereas they are not, 100 percent of people in to shitcoins are only looking for a quick money and get rich and the reason why they are easily trapped.

Very very very good points, and I actually am in line with you there 100%. Gold I forgot to bring into the equation still can make new ATHs and there we see true life example of something with increasing demand yet scarcity issues.

The only thing with this as you say, is 50 to 200 years. I am only thinking in terms of max 40 years. According to my country, my life expectancy is 40 years more. So in this timeframe I don't expect 100x (that means $10 million BTC). Or rather, for me to enjoy 100x with good health I need this to happen in 20 years.

I agree with you. The potential for Bitcoin to increase in value compared to other shitcoins and the number of its holders is constantly increasing. The increase in transactions in exchange-traded funds (ETFs) is increasing. Different countries, public and private companies, as well as corporate-level holders are increasing their Bitcoin holdings. The stages may be such that in the future you will have to spend a lot more money to buy Bitcoin. You are mixing up the meaning of a reserve funds and an emergency funds, the major differences is that a reserve funds is meant to be money set aside for a planned expenses  while an emergency funds is meant to take care of an unexpected event like car repairs and medical bills which can happen at anytime and they are both different from each other, while a reserve funds can go along way in maximizing buying opportunities if readily available, the emergency funds is there to cover unforseen circumstance that may lead to selling our Bitcoin to solve our unexpected expenses that may arise along the line of our accumulation journey.

Bitcoin is a class that started in 2009 that may continue for a lifetime and you can join that class at any time. Even when you join this class, you have attended the class at the right time from your place.
