Is Forex trading really a Get-rich-quick scheme?

I am looking to take trading activity very serious this year, I did not actively trade last year and I feel I missed out on a lot of opportunities.

And for the record, I have experience trading both Forex and crypto, but have never really taken any of this serious, and this year, I have this hunger to try to become financially independent from some of my current sources, and the fact i have not made the kind of money I want is another motivation.

We're living in the modern world where making money online becomes easy only if you have the right tools. There are some people that don't have access to these information and they're still in the dark. Forex is universal and it is not a get rich quick scheme. If you rush into the system, you will liquidate and lose everything. So it's more better to calmly learn the basis of Forex and Crypto, either one you pick interest. Thoroughly spend more time because the slightest miss on a basis will definitely hits you harder in trades.

Forex can make one make good amount from the comfort of his or her home, just dedicate more time to learning and practice. What made you reluctant in both sectors? You need or have encounter some factors that have awakened your ambition to start all over again, you do know consistency also matters in the space?

Forex trading is never been that an easy skill that you can be able to learn in a short period of time. To those who had been saying that they are really that seeing this as a rich-quick scheme then they should really be trying it out. On the moment that they would really be having into their situation on which they've been dealing up with the volatile market then you would be able to realize that it was never been that easy. We do know that when it comes into this situation that dealing up with moving prices does really need up that skill and knowledge on how the market moves and on how it do behaves. I agree with you on this, making Profit isn't the first thing you should think about when you are new to forex or crypto work on building and funding yourself first because it you dive into the market without having a backup and hoping to use that to sustain yourself it's going to be disastrous..you can blow up your account at any time, even the best traders in the world have gone through that phase..if you don't have any other thing to lean on after incurring losses how would you survive? The financial market can be full of surprises so don't think there are strategies that can always keep you in profit.. The goal in forex trading is to make more profit than losses at the long run and this can be achieved through proper risk management.

I'll say that 99% of traders specially new ones will really be having this kind of thinking at the moment that they would really be touching up this space of trading. Even though Forex is less volatile than with cryptocurrency but still the price is really that moving up and down on which means that it could bust up yourself despite of those minimal movements. It will really be just that too delusional of you when you are really that thinking that trading could really be that a get rich quick scheme on which we know that on the time or moment that you do become a trader and just starting up then you would be always having those beginner approach and emotions on which you are really that be able to feel. Trading skills isnt something that you can be able to learn in a short time period on which means that it will really be taking up some time.

Trading forex,indices,crypto,stocks is no different thing on which you would really be needing up to play with those movement or price volatility. They might be having that different movement or level of volatility. Dealing up with it does really requires knowledge and the same time you would really be needing up that patience. Making out some adjustments will be that crucial and in every mistakes that you are committing then it will be that recommended that you should be learning from it and be able to make adjustments on the moment that you will be trading up on your future trades. Is Forex trading not about trading pairs just as we have it in cryptocurrency trading? Additionally, both market are volatile markets so am not really understanding what makes that significant difference that should make Forex trading market a get rich quick scheme when it's not a ponzi.

I have the privilege of interacting with many Forex traders and not many of them are doing great at it. Some have actually switched to investing in bitcoin while trading on with other altcoins.

Trading can never make anyone rich quick. Rather, it can make someone poor quickly. Be it forex or crypto trading. When one trades and his entry goes towards profit, a lot of tension works in him and he closes his trade with less profit. But when he loses, he waits until his loss is recovered. Social media has made people think that making money is easy but the truth is that, making money isn't like that, everything you see display by them is not real. Some of them are using trading scheme for money laundering or using it to scam people since people like to see when others display good stuff and the money they made from their sweat but trading doesn't work that way, even the great traders that I follow doesn't display wealth that way.

People that make 4-5 figures a day from trading don't even do most of these lifestyle, they are more with making money and looking for other opportunities, some of them don't even have that time to be displaying wealth, they do have zero social media lifestyle, more like someone that have social anxiety. They also don't like it when they become center of attraction, they like their privacy alot and afr very helpful to people that want to learn without charging anything.

People do only focuses too much about into the positive side without thinking about on the negative side on which this is really that very wrong approach because once that loses will hit you then you will be that become angry and disappointed. Just like you said trading is capable of making you poor quickly and that can only happen when you try to make it a  quick rich scheme... sometimes it's wise for a trader to take profit no matter how small it might be, you can't make all the money in forex in a day, over trading is one of the main reason why a lot of traders lose even after making profits..The worst Thing a trader can do is to chase his losses to recover, that's a psychological trap that can affect your trade.. Trading becomes profitable after a few years of practice, it's not going to be easy at the beginning, time and patience is required.

I think the Forex market is even more sophisticated than that crypto market where you can buy and hold waiting for price to appreciate so that you can make some profits from the market. The Forex Market is the opposite and those trading the Forex market are very smart and taking every trade based on their analysis not like many crypto traders that just enter the market without doing any analysis with the intention of making quick profits from the market. The crypto market is not a get rich Scheme and e eryome that intend to trade in the market must know this so they could work on themselves.

Forex trading is not easy and it very risky, the problem people normally have with forex trading is that they have a wrong understanding about it, people think is what they can go into and make quick profit. I know forex trading is complex and risky but most people go into it with the wrong mindset and with just a little understanding about it.

Well from speaking from experience I had a friend who was into this forex trading for a thing  and honestly speaking I knew the little hardships he went through, he had to learn so many things like understanding the market analysis risk management and some quite trading strategies. He had to ungo through Discipline and patience managing emotions setting realistic goals and adapting to market challenges and changing.

I guess you are right the forex market is highly sophisticated, requiring a deep understanding of economic indicators some technical analysis and more of market dynamics, Forex trader most be skilled analysis making informed decisions based on careful research and risk management, well the cryptocurrency markets has historically been more speculative with many investors holding and buying assets in hopes of price appreciation while some Crypto traders do conduct thorough analysis others may enter the market without a solid understanding of the underlying assets or market trends.

forex trading seems like a mess and many people just stuck in the same place, going back and forth with their profit that many of them also switched to stock and crypto.
maybe there are profitable people but most of people just basically lose something then recover back, maybe make profit sometime. but it definitely isn't a get rich quick scheme.

but if OP somehow encounters some self proclaimed trading expert that promises its course buyers a way to become rich, then I can understand that impression, but unfortunately, trading is hard everywhere, not only limited to forex.

I'm not sure if that's just part of a script or he really told that about, people should judge him with his losses and not with his wins because he only got a few.

If he or anyone else made that statement, that's actually being truthful. It's what it's. We're in an era where pretentiousness and deceit rule the world. Truth is often hidden in such a manner that only a tiny bit tells it. A lot of us weren't told to expect losses while starting up trading and so when we started experiencing losses we thought it was abnormal and something to be ashamed of. Whereas losses are an integral part of winning, both in trading and in real life.

Since I gained knowledge about how trading works I don't see either crypto or forex trading as get rich quick schemes, it is people that don't have accurate knowledge of how trading works or those that wants to mislead others that will say they are very fast ways to make money. Trading is not what people should rush into without understanding technically and fundamental analysis, unless they want to enter as gamblers that wants quick fixes, which doesn't happen most of the time. Many newbies are mostly misled in adverts on social media that portrays trading as a very easy way to make quick money, but in reality it is only a few experienced traders that makes most of the profits.

Basically Forex trading doesn't seem like a get rich quick stuff to me because just like crypto trading theirs hardly somehow someone can get rich quick through it as a crypto trader except you're investing for years on some solid coins. Trading generally is just an engagement to keep body and soul together and not a venture that you can steadily get money from. Either as a forex or crypto trader the back and forth movement of your funds should be that you're not losing more than you're winning trade.

What I think about people who offer to give out trading tips which traders can use to get rich is that these so-called experts live on the money ignorant traders pay them for what they're offering.
