After a quick look, I think bitcoin falling to around $65k is the lowest prediction I saw someone make. It's going to be a fun competition.

Right now when the "trade war" is on heat the bearish predictions seems better for the firts cut of 30 days, but lets see tomorrow how the markets opens and how behave the goverments in the week.

Oh what a shame, I hadn't noticed the initial prediction thread till now, and participatio is now closed, as it's already the second day of February. From what I've noticed, most predictions are quite confident, reaching as high as $400.000 in 180 days. Although all these predictions sound great, I don't believe it can actually be achieved in less than a year from now. The statement of an upcoming U.S. Bitcoin reserve sounds promising for the cryptocurrency community, on the other hand may not be as positive as we may think.

Anyway, good luck to all participants, we'll see soon enough who was the closest one. The average is approximately at $130.000 to $140.000, which is a plausible scenario. Great initiative from @Volgastallion!

About the price slected by some users, yes some of them were pretty confident, lets see if they were in the correct. I cant be sure about which path can be for this months for BTC, we have so much noise right now from the economy.

Seems like there won't be any trade wars and import tariffs after all. The decisions are being delayed and put on hold after rounds of negotiations with the affected countries. I think we are now only waiting for a US-China agreement. Trump did cause a lot of havoc and did it quickly. Billions were wiped out from the crypto market in one day but bitcoin's dominance over altcoins also rose in the meantime.

Yeah, there might be no trade war. There will soon be a discussion between Xi Jinping and Donald Trump' and an agreement will be reached. China will simply make commitment to curb the flow of fentanyl and reduce trade deficits. The next phase of tarriff will be Europe, hopefully a deal will also be reached. Bitcoin price might recover if these tariff threats come to an end.

It goes both ways, which is something most participants haven't taken into consideration, while I also automatically was thinking of bullish prices as well. The majority of predictions are confident, and why wouldn't they be? This year is supposedly the fourth year of the four-year cycles that Bitcoin has been observed to have; thus, from a statistical viewpoint, we're going to have a bullish year. I'm personally not too fond of Trump's influence because it's creating a hype that can quickly come crashing down, but it seems to have a positive effect on Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies nonetheless.

But lets see in the upcoming days, i dont really know what can happen the speed of the changes and the boldness on every act and fact made is pretty strange for us after years and years (sinde the fall of the soviet union) of so much "soft politics" and baby steps.

Lmao, sadly you can't predict negative numbers because that would mean some one would pay you to buy bitcoin, something like "if you buy this 10 bitcoin for $0 I will pay you $1000" so, no one in the World will eve offer a deal like that, is Just too good to be real.

So, negative number only works in theory, but you will never see them in reality.

Bahahahha, hang in there! This was a great idea to have this bet by Volgastallion. I wish I had got my picks in! I suppose that I still could, it surely woudl be fun. I hadn't thought about what the price point would be 30, 90 and 180 days after he took office I just assumed that the Trump effect would keep making the price go up and up and up to new ATHs! I hope you make the cut though! I am interested to see what numbers everyone had guessed.....
