What to expect in 2025

Among ones I have listed, which one are you the most excited for? Are there more you wish to see in 2025?

Those features are already a reality considering technology reached that level some time ago. What will continue happening from now on is the adoption of such features by more gambling services and its customers. I'm not very excited about any of them, because I think we are already too much into technology. I miss the touch with physical world as it used to be in previous decades. Technology helps reducing costs of the services provided, as everything now is virtual and don't have to be manufactured with physical materials, but at same time, I fear it doesn't ensure a complete experience like in previous times.

The virtual universe is pretty artificial and flat. You have visual and hearing experience, but the other senses like smell, touch and taste aren't stimulated.

I am so much a fan of sports betting and I don't see how relevance VR can be to sports bettors because I don't think that player would even show so much interest in it. As for live casino, I think we already have it in some casinos and bookies. In one of the local bookie am using, you can send message on the live chat and will get respons from other players that are betting on the game. There's another thing that I have been hearing which OP did not add, some people said it's AI agent.

AI will play a major role in both the casino games and sports betting in coming years but both will have a different dimensions. VR will have a greater impact on the casino games where gamblers may enjoy the gambling experience through VR. Metaverse adoption could be another big thing in the gambling industry.

However, in sports betting, it will be the data which will be more easily and accurately available for the gamblers to analyze before making a bet. There could be AI bots that can predict the winners and gamblers getting advice from them before placing bets and a lot more other interesting developments may happen in 2025 and beyond.

Personally I am only expecting to see how they will deploy AI in all of its different fashions and which casino is going to win this war is going to be the winner of a whole new customers to join them, for me the year 2025 cannot be expected differently than the AI fight between technology giants. This not only in the casino and gaming space but in many of the different industries and aspects of many businesses, at first I did not believe much into this AI transformation in businesses though I believe now to be the year of AI and let's see how it develop, personally I work in IT industry and it has been a very extremely helpful tool to me personally and no I don't work in programming nor in database, only in infrastructure and has been precious to me.

Smart tables look interesting and I haven't encountered that yet, having an RFID with the table and everything will be detected in there? It seems that many the casinos have got this already but I only saw them on videos and haven't experienced it. I think most of the things that OP listed are exciting to wait for and able to see them happen one by one. Some of my friends bought virtual reality glasses and after a couple of months either sold them or put them on the shelf. In my opinion, to a wide demand for these technologies is still very far away, and therefore to integrate them into gambling in 2025 does not make any sense. This is my personal opinion. I am waiting for this Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality experience. Although the technology is already release, I think the tools to use that technology still too expensive and I don't thinks that I can buy that.

The virtual reality games is where we are going to find the most patronage and experience. With individuals doing the most from the comfort of their homes, using avatars and all. It’s a technology with lots of promises and meta continues to be invested in by giants in the various industries to take the frontline of the innovation. This would make web3 gambling a lot more fun and pleasurable for all.

As for the online casino, I think that is very much in motion already. Talking about the smart table, I don’t know what that is or how it’s going to affect gambling towards the positive.

Maybe we could see more of virtual reality because there has been an increase in that for a while now. I am much interested in making money from gambling in my favorite sports rather than expecting to see more games being added to the list we have been seeing on casinos. For sure, the upgrade of technological trends increases the decline in users. Cost is high for VR casinos, the equipments required to make it memorable is not cheap. The headsets, and bodysuits, also, are expensive. People are not yet fed up with the online gambling tech, and virtual reality is warming up already. Its wide availability would only be big in the first few days of activity and then some people will prefer to stay with online casinos. Better still, having it available builds more options for gamblers.

Right, there is a need for constant reminders and refreshments of memories about crucial issues like this, anyways I totally agree with your first comment as much as I advocate for more advancement in developing what is already in existence in the gambling industry, this is 2025 and for that, we all need and expect a lot of new developments in the gambling market at least the competition in the market is high now, and that could easily trigger a new wave of development that can be hard for competitors to cash up with in terms of games developments and even payments systems.

That's actually true, I still wonder how it's going to be combined as casino games most times just require we place our bets and let the algorithm do its thing and expect to win. Beyond technologically innovative games, I would expect an improvement in fund management and support tickets. Most of the issue of users is due to the ToS violation and technical glitch of the casino which an AI support can’t be resolved by itself since it can only solve through the data provided by human in the internet.

I doubt the casino will give the AI fully control over the casino settings and let an AI decide on what they will do to the casino. I still preferred human support over AI because of the human consideration and capabilities which an AI will never have.

However, Mix AI and live support is good to resolve minor issue easily.

His “can’t afford” word is probably dedicated to the VR equipment since real VR equipment that provide better user experience is expensive like the Occulus brand which cost around 400$ or more in my country while rip off VR from China is so freaking low quality that will cause headache if you use long term especially on gambling games that we are force to play longer.

I tried to play casino that can be used VR through the metaverse technology bit the experience is horrible and not the same if we play on screen due to the graphics quality.

It’s indeed VR is for gambler that willing to spend higher just to play on low quality graphics since VR doesn’t promote HD.
