Can you share more details about what you are pointing at? How did the scam come about? What coin is being frozen on Coinbase, and what's the connection between Qeabit and Coinbase?

You can get more details about what you are talking about; maybe there might be a chance of getting help by giving you good guidance to follow, but if it's a pure scam by scammers, then the money is gone. Trying to get it back through a scam recovery service will only lead to getting more scammed.

We have a scam accusations board for this type of discussion.

I saw the wallets, Coinbase and four others of the exchanges on the site, making them five exchanges. I clicked on them but nothing happened. If you clicked on it and it generated you wallet, likely you have been scammed if you send money to that wallet. If you want to download any wallet, visit their official site or download the wallet (that has millions of downloads) on the application store. Those with low number of downloads are also fake.

You saw $400,000 but it is actually not money but just a number. Do not forget that it is their site which is controlled by them. They can everything that you see. So it is actually money but numbere that you saw. Anyone one or site that you see online that wants to help you to trade to make money are all scam. 100% they are scammers.

I don't really understand the mechanism, but if your coins are still in your coinbase wallet, then there should still be a possibility that they are safe, and I need to know if they are in coinbase custodial?

Regarding the site you mentioned, I really see that the site is indicated as a scam based on reviews from the scamadviser site, and there are several people who gave negative reviews stating that they also experienced something similar.

- Scamadviser-qeabit

So, for the further discussion, you should use Scam Accusations Board as @Orpichukwu said, and hope that there will be a solution to the problem there, and at least public awareness for other people to be more careful.

The lady you met on the dating site is just a scammer who exploited your trust to direct you to this fraudulent trading platform, which is only 8 months old according to Whois. They claim to have 100 million users and 50 awards, along with fake partner images related to imToken, Trust Wallet, and Huobi Wallet. If you verify these, you'll find that these are fake partnerships.

Also, CertiK has already denied that Qeabit was audited by them, which clearly indicates that they are a fraudulent platform that froze and stole your assets. You might want to try contacting Coinbase support to tell them your story and see if they can help with this or not.

Coinbase can’t be of help in this situation because the money has not gotten to Coinbase; as far as I know, third parties don’t have access to frozen customers coins in another exchange unless it’s a request from regulators.

From what I get from the whole story, it's just a regular romance and investment scam that goes on the internet always; everything just happens within Qeabit, the scam platform, and they might just claim the victims funds are being frozen by Coinbase in order to persuade them that it's real and might use that means to ask them for funds, which they will claim is to be used for the unfrozen process.

I doubt if your money is looked up in your coinbase wallet but rather in the scam site. These kinds of scam are common where a "woman" convinces a victim to invest or deposit your money into some platform and the later fail to withdraw it

There's an almost zero chance that you will recover those funds, if they are even there. Did you send funds to them, or you are just seeing some random figures they promised to deposit to you? Just focus on something else and take that as a lesson learned.

Even the people who claim to recover lost cryptocurrencies will also decide to scam you further.

there is a service to help me recover?
I went through your thread and from what I understand someone online promised you to increase your money if you send them USDT and then showed the panel where they had done some magical stuff to increase your money and now asked you to withdraw your coins from that site back to your coinbase wallet.

The entire process is a bamboozling one, but the scam happens right at the start when you send them your USDT - its gone right at that time. Whatever happens next is a made up site while they spend your money you keep thinking why the site does let you withdraw back to coinbase - because nothing ever happened and the site is operated by the scammers.

So you have to accept that you have lost the money and move on from that.

Also note that if you have received any cold calls/Personal messages claiming they can help your recover, do not respond to them. This is a second method of scamming a victim who have recently lost money by giving them false promises.

Always remember - in cryptocurrency, money sent out once is never coming back.

I have just been scammed on qeabit.org.  One of the ringleaders is David Chen or whatever his name may be.  He did the same thing to me.  I lost bitcoins based on the same promise. Once the $$ goes in, it will not come out.  It's frozen.  And they want you to put in more $$ and trade more before they can unfreeze your assets.  Their trading interface  is 1000% scam.  They control the fake returns, not the market.  David Chen will tell you that he has a team of people who does 1000's simulations, watch the market trends, and collect data.  He actually sounds like a smart person.  Then once the trade is made, he will put back just enough into your originating wallet to entice you to put more $$.  It's too late!!!!   All I can tell you is he was smooth and very sophisticated.  They know how to lure you in.  I am Asian, but I have not met any Chinese Asian on the social media that is kosher when it comes to solicitations.    They want to befriend you and learn a little bit about you and then if they learn you have bitcoin, they will do anything to steal it.  These people are ruthless!!!

I am not trying to victim blame you or anything but did you at least try a little bit of background research about their platform before depositing anything don't their website? because when I did a quick look about them on Google, there was barely any information about them(which is already a massive red flag) and the majority of the results that are related to them are a scam accusation against them that were posted here in the forum and bunch of scam advisor websites saying that it is a suspicious website.

sadly, there is not much that can be done here, they'll never give your money back.
