A quick look at your current portfolio, I think you are doing just fine and what you need right now is to hold some portion of Bitcoin, to balance up, and that is if you have an extra cash flow that you can put away for a long time.

Why is bitcoin not in your portfolio? I am not against investing in altcoins, and I don’t have any problem with the coins that you bought, but at least you are suppose to have bitcoin also in your portfolio. When you are making an investment, you don't have to invest just because it’s been recommended to you, and they say the coin is good, always make sure you do your own research before investing in any coin, don’t just follow what people say blindly.

Let me add a coin to the ones that you mentioned above. If you leave some little amount in SOLANA, it’s not really a bad idea, but I will recommend you do your research first before investing. Don’t just invest in it just because I recommended it to you, do your research if it is worth investing in.

Bitcoin is not a must. Especially in 2025 when it is at its all time high and will continue pumping , best to wait till next bear market in 2026 to start buying Bitcoin when the price starts falling again. That is what I’m doing anyway.

Altcoins can 10x, 20x or even 50x in 2025 from current prices , Bitcoin maybe 2x if you’re lucky.

Out of the 5 altcoins you are holding there, I hold MultiversX also. Expecting it to 10-20x this year , fingers crossed.

I’m eyeing USUAL tokens now aside from my several holdings of L1 and L2 project that gave me profit last peak price. USUAL token is good because they are utility token for a stable coin project which distributes all the stable coin transactions fees to USUAL holders.

Imagine if this stable coin can share a piece of the pie from USDC and USDT in the future, I’m sure this token will skyrocket due to the profit sharing from fees will be massive.

It’s a high risk high reward now since there’s still some adjustment with the feature but I’m confident with this token future performance.

Seems good, you can make some really good profits when it’s Altcoin season. Make sure you have Bitcoin, Ethereum & Solana too though. I know that they don’t have as much potential upside as the coins you have but they are more guaranteed profits if you know what I mean, albeit smaller profits.

If that is altcoin, I am not sure which coin I will suggest you because all coins have the same opportunities to increase. That will depend on what coin type you want. For example, you want to invest in a coin below $10, you need to gather all coins below $10 and filter that by the popularity and other requirements you know.

Besides that, it is too difficult to suggest some altcoins because we don't know which coin that can increase. But I can suggest you to invest in Bitcoin for sure because Bitcoin will be to the moon

You need to find out by yourself and not just depend on others suggestion. Research will be the key to find the potential altcoin so you should do that by your own.

A portfolio without Bitcoin and ETH, is not a good portfolio. So get those added asap. Especially when Bitcoin price is decreasing so it's a good time to enter.

Also get rid of any metaverse related coins asap. Metaverse hype is dead already and big companies have moved out of this space even after investing billions of dollars.

For altcoins, it's best to get your own research done instead of seeking opinion from an open forum.

The same usual money protocol that has been heavily fudded in the last 48hrs? No thanks. I learnt my fair share of lessons about stablecoin projects that offer "yield" where the yield source is not verified. Maybe the token will do well if they manage to beat off these fuds but I'm not going to bet on it yet.

There would be more opportunities for me in the future I'm sure.

In my experience market-making yields me higher profits than HODLing, so BiTCoin comes into it via being the buy-side of my trading-pairs of at least some alts.

That way I not only gain more of the alt faster but also get bitcoin profits too.

In fact it is usually the bitcoin rather than the alt that I from time to time buy fiat with to pay such expenses bills etc as require fiat.

Why? no Solana too; all the coins and tokens you've had are all good if you want to add more better to do your own research, as every investor has their own expectation on the coin/token that they add to their portfolio; some want a long-term hodl for maximum profit, and some want quick profit. Its better to do your own research because you will be educated along the way as you go from one coin to another.
And some unknown guy here might recommend you a coin where he is a part of the team, and their intention is to scam gullible investors.

Yep. Some would just say the coins that they would like others to be invested in, so it's all individual beliefs / tips, but no solid plan to make an X thing.

Fantom, already switched to Sonic.
Litecoin? I don't think this altcoin is very good.

You have to take risks in the peak year of bull run, they only come round every 4 years. Altcoins pump 20x to 100x you need to try and find a few of them.

No point just investing in Bitcoin now with average amount of money to invest, you’re not going to change your life investing in Bitcoin right now but you can with altcoins.

You have to take risk, and if it pays off then you can cash out your profits and you will have more money to invest in safer plays like Solana and Bitcoin.

This was the exact question I wanted to ask as I saw the list of token he is holding initially, why is Bitcoin not there?
We all know how disappointing most of this alt and meme can be most times and it's extremely risky to invest your all in them, because they falls more than they rise, so on my own perspective, I believe that a good portfolio should consist of like 90% of Bitcoin, then risking like 10% of your capital on three alt or meme coin like pepe, optimism and sui.
This is what a perfect portfolio looks too me, not this jargons that you listed down here because it looks like you don't work for the money you used on spending on this nonsense you called asset.
Among all this asset listed down here, how much research have you done on them for you to risk so much on them? The earlier you understand that Bitcoin is the real deal, the better for your finances.
