honestly, its tough question to answer especially when the price is pumping.. You sure you’re not just caught up in FOMO?

At the end of the day, you’re the only one who can decide, because even if people say it has a great future, you still need to do your own research to confirm. With its high supply and the price currently at $5, it feels like it might have already peaked for now, leaving only a little room for short-term growth, so be careful in riding with it.

Better to watch the price for the correction and get some if you invest your time in analyzing SUI.
Otherwise, no need to rush and get big bags of it, especially now.

If almost all of us should guess what will be the price of ethereum if bitcoin get to $100000. In 2022 when bitcoin fell to $15500, people will predict ethereum to have increased above $10000 by now. But ethereum did not increas up to that amount and still below its all-time high of $4868.

When I first discovered $SUI, the price of this token had not even reached $1 and there was not much development going on in their ecosystem as a whole. Now that the $SUI token price has surpassed $5, that's an increase of more than 5x. For a major L-1 project, that's a big price increase. I think it would be a good idea for you to reconsider buying it now, considering the high circulating supply of this token.

Where there's a price increase, there will definitely be a correction, although it may not happen as quickly as possible, but it's a good idea for you to wait & be a little patient to buy this token.

That’s exactly the point. The question shouldn’t be about when to buy or sell. It’s better to ask what factors could lead to an increase in its price, like the development of the project itself. Focusing only on the price is like chasing signals, and if that’s what we're after, we won’t find it here. There are plenty of those in Telegram groups.

Altcoins are very volatile and when you see one that has skyrocketed, what to expect is a correction followed by a downward trend. Anyways we're just speculating here, OP has to make the decision whether to buy or not because it's his money on the line but what I can advise if he makes up his mind to go ahead is to buy with amount that he can afford to loose. If it's not Bitcoin and a few top altcoins, I consider altcoins generally as a gamble, you risk your funds to buy, not knowing if the ship will sink because most of them do

I assume that even if you don't find out about the project @OP is referring to here, $SUI is one of the top altcoins (at least in the last few months), they could even be ranked 12th in the CMC.

All types of trading are gambling & have risks there, what makes the difference is whether a project has solid fundamentals or not. In the case of $SUI, they have solid fundamentals, it's just that @OP is asking if he should buy it now? That is the subject of discussion, and several people here, including me, have provided input from our side.

I was the lucky one to buy SUI below $2 and now am in good profit. It did briefly went near 6 but it's down now. I'm not an expert but SUI is supposed to be a alternative to Solana or something. When they get grounds, they could be more valuable. But even though I hold them, their gaming priority could be a bad thing in long run as no gaming focused utility have been a success, TON is an example how they fail. Solana on the other hand is more versatile.
I'd not recommend people to buy it over 4. Sui being less costly than TON, already has a larger market cap due to supply.

although SUI might seem so great despite recent pump, speaking from the ecosystem of SUI itself mostly it's still pretty bad if i'm being honest, so many project are still new and not as good as its competition like solana.
I honestly don't know why SUI just keep going up though, rarely heard about hype inside the ecosystem yet the demand keep increasing as if something is going on.

personally I wouldn't buy, the risk is too high already for small profit because price already $5 definitely wait for retracement like everyone said.

Waiting for the moment of price reversal is certainly good to do. For SUI it seems it will be good in the future even though it is not yet comparable to SOL's defense which wants to be slammed at any time is always in vain with a quick price reversal upwards.

Still very young of course but if sui wants to continue to develop some of their superior products such as maximizing UX Improvement for Web3 services I think it will be very useful again.

If you really like SUI, just buy and install and hold for a long time. If not, just move all your funds to BTC assets and that is the top recommendation so far that I have read from some of our seniors here.

I would suggest rather that if you really like SUI you build a column of buy offers far far downward, to be safe totally all the way to the bottom, then as they get sold to start building a column of sell offers at least half-or-less as dense as your buy-side column (so that any length of it that gets bought up creates proceeds insufficient to build up your buy-side so high its top exceeds the average price the buyer(s) of your sell offers just bought at, tempting them to sell back to you at lower than the average price they just paid).

That way you are helping support the coin thus over time being a stronger and stronger part of its "support" while usually also constantly building up a bigger and bigger "bag" of it so that over time you become one of those so called "whales" everyone worries will "dump" the price down to oblivion, but also your "support" becomes more and more capable of absorbing anything any such "whales" might "dump" as a yummy windfall building you, and thus the coin's "support", ever larger and larger until all supportive "whales" such as yourself far far outweigh whales who still try to run around "dumping" coins into oblivion...

Yes it is I only became aware of SUI when I participated in Birds airdrops and I need Sui to transact and was surprised on how low the fees is and how fast the transactions are.
Its designed for web3, and with over 38 million accounts and 8 billion transactions, this platform has huge potential. No wonder its getting a lot of attention from investors like you, so go for it. SUI has good future, and why not?

Even Grayscale has added sui trust as one of its product. It means SUI potentially to be listed as ETF in the future.

There are also many companies are starting to do tokenization on SUI. It's growing from small to the major platform in less than 2 years.

As for whether it's right time to buy or not, it's obvious you're very late to consider it. It's now trading at the top price close to the its ATH. How can think buy at top price is good to invest? The better for you to search for another potential coin.

SUI is good, but it's over priced. There are so many other potential coins available in the market such as APTOS, or etc.

This is the question you should've asked when the price was sub $1. Right now, SUI is in a price discovery. If you get in now, you better pray the bull market vibe continues because if it doesn't, you'll be their newest community member and a bagholder.

At this price, marketcap and FDV, SUI can only do 2x, even 3x is a huge stretch. Better roi with other opportunities imo.
