Its that time of the year again where Americans must relish the final weeks of the NFL season before we return to the dreary nothingness that is the off-season. Tomorrow we have the first two playoff games, so we need to get this show on the road!

Just for fun, let's also post the current Super Bowl odds for the top 10 teams as well:



First up is Chargers vs. Texans, tomorrow (Saturday). Even though they are playing in Texas, Chargers are favored by 3, and there's no reason why they shouldn't win. They have a great defense & tend to score more points per game than their opponents. Its worth pointing out that the last time they played (2 years ago), the Texans beat the Chargers by 10 points. Regardless, I'm going with Chargers for this one.

Next up tomorrow is Steelers vs. Ravens. This one isn't gonna be nearly as close, with the spread favoring the Ravens by 9.5. It is a home game for the Ravens but the spread still feels too high. I am not confident they will cover, but there's almost no chance they'll be upset by a team with Justin Fields as QB. Ravens to win.

I'll tell you now, my Super Bowl pick has gotta be the Chiefs to do a 3-peat -- they have unrivaled experience in this setting as a team. Although I do wish all the Lions fans good luck as they've been waiting a long time for this moment.

Who do you think is gonna win the Super Bowl, and what upsets do you think could take place on the road to the championship?

My SB winner this postseason is also the Chiefs, maybe the Lions have a shot, but with the unstoppable offense of this Chiefs team knowing they're tough and they've been in this playoff situation multiple times.

I'm also hoping the Bills make it to the AFC Championship so we could have a rematch between them and the Chiefs since they're the only team that handed a legit loss during the regular season.

For the next three games we have tomorrow, I can't imagine another upset between these teams, if I have to lean on an underdog i'd pick the Commanders, they still have a top-five offense that could give the Bucs a run for their money.

Chargers blown out! Shucks. Well there goes my shot at a perfect prediction record. So we are 1/2 so far.

We got 3 games for tomorrow:

- Denver vs. Buffalo. This win will easily go the Buffalo. The line is -8.5 right now for them. I think they will be able to crush this easily.

- Green Bay vs. Philadelphia. Another easy one - Philadelphia all day - except the line is smaller (-4.5). Philadelphia will crush this as well.

- Washington vs. Tampa Bay. Likely to be the closest of the 3 matchups. Frankly I can't believe either of these teams are here. But if I have to pick one, I'm gonna pick Tampa Bay, since they are favored by 3 anyway. I am not certain they will cover.

I'm also hoping the Bills make it to the AFC Championship so we could have a rematch between them and the Chiefs since they're the only team that handed a legit loss during the regular season.

Could be, will be a fun game to watch. If that's the case I still gotta go with the Chiefs as they know how to turn things up an extra notch during playoffs.

This Packers game could be a shootout knowing they could keep up with some of the best offensive teams. Then again I still agree with you, the Eagles should cover this low of a spread when they only need a touchdown or two field goals.

On another note, this all sounds too good and after the Chargers game, we could have another upset if one of them underperforms.

Spot on with the Eagles' defense as Love kept turning the ball over multiple times. Barkley did his part as well, and played it smart in the final minute of the game to burn the clock instead of bringing it home for a TD which probably killed a lot of prop bets.

It appears that presently all of the teams that have won were always the speculated teams to win except for the Chargers vs. the Texans. The oddsmakers have give  the Texans +3 on the spread, however, if you were watching the NFL regular season, it would be very clear that there is a small occurrence that this +3 might be a miscalculation. The oddsmakers might be giving Jim Harbaugh on his first season some consideration, I reckon.

I don't know if it's a miscalculation from the "odd makers" but it seems that they are considering that it will be a tough game or they know something that we don't. Either way,

After a Washington win I'm now 3-2... Not very good. Well I never claimed to be good, I'm just picking games.

Today's game is easy: Minnesota Vikings all the way. Rams home field advantage was taken away from them thanks to the L.A. fires, so they're playing in Arizona instead. Lots of Rams fans will be in attendance but there's no way the Vikings are losing this one, IMO. Spread is currently -2.5 Vikings, I expect them to cover.

What up Nut.  So I watched the first round of the playoffs from 80 degree Cancun Mexico.  Now I'm back to Illinois where we got about 14 inches of snow before I left (sorry, we are fools for not using the metric system and I'm too lazy to convert right now, but you get the point, a LOT of snow). 

Wheelz and I just chatted about whom we thought was going to win the games, and I want to say we got every single one wrong    The playoffs man, they are a whole other story. 

Taking the Lions though...but hell, hard to count out Mahomes isn't it.

We knew Sam Darnold is not a good quarterback. The team has a good offensive line that will protect him. However, on this wild card game, it appears that Sean McVay has discovered a tactic to play against the Vikings' offensive line or the Vikings offensive line did not play similarly on their games in the regular season.

On the Rams' game against the Eagles, what does everyone predict and does the Eagles have a better offensive line than the Vikings? I reckon if the answer to this is the Vikings have a better offensive line, we might very much witness another underdog winner in this playoff.

What's particularly damning is the fact that I'm a Rams fan yet I have to root against them all the time, which as it turns out, usually isn't a good idea. Well, I'll have to really think hard about my next picks to emotionally recover from this.

Ehh you know this is a really tough one as CJ Stroud has had the preverbal "sophomore slump".  Jayden Daniels is going to win rookie of the year and they are playing well.  Now the best QB on the planet is still Mahomes , he doesn't have to of had the best year or best numbers..he's hand down the best ( Burrow is in the second spot and feel so bad for him and Chase). 

Stafford did win a SB just recently Puka fn beast, Kyren, ..but philly has an OLine that can move moutains, the best RB in football a solid QB , good WRS (Brown is top 5, don't care what anyone says), You make great points tho, really going to be good ones. Any given sunday.
