Still on the new year groove i would want to put up some list of exchange that offers p2p service which are more easier and friendly to us for usage, though i know most of you are already familiar with it already, so i decided to make a comprehensive list of it for us our people to see their requirements when signing up so that they will be ready with their documentation before proceeding with the verification process. Especially for those people who do not have such verification document can start processing their document before signing up on these exchanges.

Exchange names|P2P|KYC requirements|NGN|Duration before releasing coin|
Binance| No|Drivers License, NIN, BVN international passport|Removed due to some regulation issues|5-50 Minutes|
Bybit|Yes|Drivers License, NIN, BVN and Voters card|Supported|5-50 Minutes|
bitget|Yes|Drivers License, NIN, BVN|Supported|10-50 Minutes|
MEXC|Not Sure|Drivers License, NIN, BVN, Voter's card|Not Verified|5-50 Minutes|
KuCoin|Not Sure|Drivers License, International passport|Not Verified|5-50 Minutes|

Please if the above information are not correct you can comment here for adjustment, though have never used all but only used Binance, Bybit. You can comments to add other exchanges that offers p2p services for our people to ease us stress looking for exchanges that offers p2p.

My people i say make i bring this one come we board for easy access especially those looking for exchange to trade their coin and sell to Naira.

Thank you for the corrections.. though i am having the feeling that Binance will be back.

But i want to asked about their issues with Nigeria government has it been resolved?

NS= Not Sure

NV= Not Verified.

I will edit the op to include them now.

Okay. Kucoin P2P for crypto/naira was removed since some months ago.

But i want to asked about their issues with Nigeria government has it been resolved?
Not solved till now. I think the problem are the Nigerian government officials.

Not solved till now. I think the problem are the Nigerian government officials.
This is terrible and I don't even expect this issues to have lasted till date without them solving it up.
I think this is another major reason why Binance may never want to come Nigeria at the main time
If issues like this could be lingered till date without them resolving with Binance then what of adoption and also as a national reserved fund, what would happened then. The issues there is that, Nigerian don't acts when they are supposed to act they takes actions when others has opened their eyes to know what others did.

My people i say make i bring this one come we board for easy access especially those looking for exchange to trade their coin and sell to Naira.
Among this five exchange wey you list down here, na only two dy function for we country as of today because binance and kucoin wey you list down no dy Nigerian market again if am not mistaken, na bybit I dy mostly use, and to be honest, their services dy very smooth, but not that easy as binance in terms of users friendly, many people dy really struggle to navigate their way around the exchange like they normally do with binance and kucoin.
But as for bitget, to be honest though them dy misbehave sometimes because you fit move ur usdt to your funding account so that you fit withdraw, e go take a lot of time before the money go reflect for the p2p account.

But one major thing wey  really surprise me about them is that them dy take fee anytime you wan do withdrawals transaction on p2p in bitget, I no know if any other person dy experience am like me, but na wetin I don dy experience for some time now when using bitget, apart from these issues, their services are ok.

Then as for Remitano and  Roqu
I sincerely no know if both of them still dy in our Nigerian market because e don tey wey I here anything about them recently.
I no know if anyone get any updates concerning them?

Have never used this exchanges that offers p2p so i won't include them in the list, besides have heard numerous negative news about them and even though have never used them i wouldn't encourage any here to go use them.
It's better we used the ones we are sure of than going extreme using what i haven't.
Anyone who has used can indicate here if they are trusted then would have to add them here among the list.

Reputation matter well well for exchange matter so na di one wey person don use and dem get better trust ratings person go recommend. E de pain me say our government still de get issues with Binance, concerning p2p because as far as I'm concerned na dem be di most reputable exchange. Also kucoin, na anoda reputable exchange wey Nigerians suppose to de enjoy dem p2p services, I hope say make our government put regulations in place to comot p2p restrictions. Apart from Bybit and Bidget, wey de enable naira p2p transactions for Nigeria, I no think say I fit to confidently recommend any other exchanges for p2p matters because dem never gain di reputations wey dis 4 exchanges don achieve.

This would have been a good compilation some months ago, but I would advise the op to go and do some updating. I would not go into the exchanges individually but right now the most reliable exchange for p2p dealings has to be Bybit the rest are really not reliable and I would not advice anyone to check them.

Your list na only for centralized exchange or any platforms that run p2p services?

Noones formally called paxful dey run p2p on crypto, gift cards, PayPal and other money services but scammers plenty well well for there, so you go dey careful when you trade and don't be greedy cos of rate.

Then as for Remitano and  Roqu
I sincerely no know if both of them still dy in our Nigerian market because e don tey wey I here anything about them recently.

Remitano still dey active wey dey run p2p service smoothly on Naira, i know of my friend using it but I normally use bybit though, na my favorite.

I never hear of Roqu before, how volatile this exchange go be, are there many buyers than sellers, cos na wetin fit make p2p make sense be that.

Not solved till now. I think the problem are the Nigerian government officials.
I'm tempted to believe that Kucoin is against Nigerians because their actions shows that. Yes our government intervened and probably forced them to delist the NGN from their platform, how come they came back and introduced taxes for Nigerians who have account in their platform trading other currencies that are not the NGN? They sent emails saying they will start taxing Nigerians certain percentage of the of the trading fees, although nearly insignificant but money is money and I don't know why Nigerians should be paying taxes only on Kucoin and not any other exchange.

Besides, when they introduced those taxes, I was thinking it was a product of their negotiation with the Nigerian regulators and I also expected that to lead to the restoration of the NGN to the platform and reinstating the p2p services to Nigerians. That never happened and they kept collecting taxes from Nigerians. This is why I'm tempted to think that Kucoin does not seem favorable for Nigerians. Nevertheless, I'm glad we have many other exchanges including Bybit, Bitget, Yellowcard, Remitano and others that offer clean services to Nigerians.

I want to know how trusted this few exchanges you made mention are because I would want to include on the list so that someone can easily click on the like to start their trading so easily without hassle. If you think that Yellowcard and Remitano is that trusted please their official site link so that i can update on the main op for easy accessibility.

OP, I commend you for this wonderful write-up. It is nice that you have done this compilation for our local board so that our community here knows the requirements for each exchange before they proceed with their registration. Although you have exchanges well presented, for the others that have not been verified, I would suggest you properly carry out your research before putting it up so you do not get things twisted here. From the looks, you still have not mentioned some more exchanges as I see them listed by other members which I guess you are still carrying out your research. It would be nice to see an updated list so  I could be able to choose from the list which of the exchanges I could comfortably register with.

Especially for those people who do not have such verification document can start processing their document before signing up on these exchanges.

You're very right here and what I understood about the lack of users required documents on this phases of wallets KYCs is that it could warrant such user to use other users who're met up with the requirements use of their exchange wallet during when they want to trade.
Such users are might be holding their crypto funds on the non custodial wallets which doesn't require KYc and awful to them that they can't process a p2p transaction due to their inability to provide documents in request to process their own exchange wallet. So they may tend to send their fund to someone else exchange to execute their p2p transaction

What is obtainable is always obtainable, be it exchange wallet or exchange itself without proper kyc documentation one can't still access their trade, though some of the exchange can allow you to use their exchange for trading and any other activities but in terms of withdrawal they wouldn't allow you to make WD out of the exchange be it p2p section. In fact as matter to note down, before most of the exchange would allowed you to open their p2p interface they must requires you to pass kyc before you could access that sections.

Some of these exchangers that P2P are not allowed in Nigeria is really worrisome. Binance has hinted that they will be returning their P2P in Nigeria soon but it seems Nigeria government is still cracking down on all of them due to the presumed illegalities associated with cryptocurrency. I hope that one day a crypto minded person will be part of the government and make things right. Bybit and bitget P2P in fraudulent already and we need stronger exchangers like binance to resume their P2P features.

It still baffles me that ByBit still works perfectly in Nigeria while Kucoin doesn't. It was last year they sent an email about the charge of tax on crypto transactions for Nigerian users and we expected that what was to follow next after that email was another email to notify us that they have resumed P2P services and enlisted the NGN. No email notification to that effect.

Binance CEO, Richard Teng said last year that they want Nigerian government or regulators to lift the ban and looking for means that can happen, but he said that they want bribe instead. Senators or maybe house of representatives turned it down as if Richard Teng was lying. It is clear how that can not be a lie. We can easily notice something suspicious about how some exchanges are working while other exchanges stopped naira/crypto P2P.

You know, BYBIT didn't delist naira p2p from their platform but kucoin delisted naira p2p because they were literally afraid of unforeseen attack by the Nigerian Government due to regulation issues and regardless that they sent mail about taxing Nigerians who performs crypto transactions on their platform, though some persons were expecting them to start naira p2p operations but since majority of Nigerians have already moved to BYBIT, it would have been difficult for them to return back to kucoin had it been they resume p2p again because so many Nigerians were satisfied with the service of BYBIT. The loss of kucoin though because they wanted to act smart after they saw what happened to Binance

Binance was the mostly used CEX for NGN P2P, this was why they still have their focus on them. For Binance not operating on P2P is putting them behind, if the Nigerian government choose to wave it out publicly which we understand that the still non agreed terms are tied to funds not agreed upon by the exchange to fill their guts. Bybit has been the den for P2P, Kucoin and a few others left too soon without taking a bite, i wonder what initially went down that Bybit remained the long lasting.

Binance needs to return to base, more users are shifting literally because of the fees you have to move from there to exchange, i hardly will be picking those fees same with other users, they always have been the face of P2P in Nigeria, the best they can do for themselves is to go in agreement and settle the course even without going to court further.
